This was way we dealt with the Spirit Kings in our 10 man raid:
We used 1 tank, 2 healers and 7 damage dealer.
Since you encounter the Spirit Kings in a random order, you might want to alternate your tactics by some degree.
Every King has a set of abilities, he uses since the moment he becomes active. And he keeps using one of them after being defeated.
Qiang the Merciless
He calls for
侧援指令
every 40 seconds while alive and every 75 seconds while defeated. When this event occurs a group of mogu warriors will move in a direct path from one end to the other end of the room.
群体攻击
is a frontal cone attack he uses in very short intervalls. It's damage is split by the number of targets hit. Make sure all raids members are being hit, otherwise Quiang oneshots people very fast.
歼灭
is another frontal cone attack but make sure that no one gets hit because it's doing high damage but not splitting like ability 2. It's cone is indicated by clouds of dust.
Stack together and have your tank coordinating the group. Everyone has to stand inside the tank, so he is the one to announce in which direction he dodges
侧援指令
,
歼灭
or any other ability from the defeated kings which has to be avoided.
Group heal is needed,
can really help out, if healers are having mana issues with this fight.
Meng the Demented
Meng is a tricky one. He has two stances with increasing strength as his insanity increases. After reaching 100% insanity he switches the stance and starts again with an empty bar.
疯狂
is the stance he deals increased damage. Prepare to heal your tank after insanity reaches futher than 60%.
While being affected by
怯懦
, Meng acts like being feared by a warlock, running slowly through the room, but reflecting damage as insanity increases. As soon as insanity reaches 60% a damage stop is needed to preserve healer's mana.
In addition to that he has two active abilities:
癫狂之吼
allowing you to deal damage to your raidmembers and also applies a damage over time effect, which is dispelled after receiving a set amount of damage (40,000 in 10 man). He keeps this ability after being defeated.
疯狂心智
is a 2 second cast, increasing Meng's insanity by 10.
Make sure to stack again, in order of breaking the effects of
癫狂之吼
very fast with area of effect attacks like Arcane Explosion. Those spells should not have any secondary effects.
The other aspect of dealing with the mad king is knowing how to interrupt his
疯狂心智
spell. As a rule of thumb, after reaching 60% you do not want to interrupt anymore in order to pass this phase as quick as possible.
Make sure to have a damage stop at 60% insanity while Meng is affected by
怯懦
in order to preserve healers' mana.
Zian of the Endless Shadow
He uses
不灭之影
to summon small orbs, looking like a purple skull, which fixate to a randomly chosen player. After being killed they form a voidzone, which shrinks till the Undying Shadow is reborn after 30 seconds. This time it chooses the closes player standing to the voidzone while it respawns as target for fixate. Those targets have low HP but deal a high amount of shadow damage to close players. He retains this ability after being defeated.
充能暗影
is like a shadow version of chain lightning, but dealing the same amount of damage to every target. It's jumping range is 8 yards.
暗影冲击
is a debuff dealing a good amount of shadow damage to all targets within 8 yards.
Make sure to spread out the raid to prevent his abilities from dealing damage to more than one player.
The ones fixiated by
不灭之影
should kite it to the wall and make sure it gets killed there by ranged dps. It is tempting to deal damage as soon as possible, but this causes trouble with the void zones. Assign a "volunteer" to stand close to those void zones, to deal with the respawning adds.
Subetai the Swift
He uses
掠夺
to deal damage in a random area and applies a healing and armor reduction debuff to all targets hit by this ability. He uses this ability after being defeated.
He shoots a large
连射
dealing small damage in a wide cone, followed by
连射
dealing damage in a medium cone, finished by
连射
which is a single shot, which can oneshot players.
箭雨
choose a random target and pinning every player within 8 yards of the target down. Those pinned down players are unable to do any actions untill the arrows are killed. (One arrow per target hit)
Dealing with the pillager is pretty simple. Spread the raid prevents him hitting more than one target with
箭雨
. Targets affected by
箭雨
have to be freed asap!
Everything else is just dodging his cone attack and his
掠夺
, as well as the other kings' abilities.
Since the order in which you have to fight those kings is randomly chosen, you have to watch out for the abilities of the defeated kings and adapt to them, while killing the active one. Therefore I just mentioned the abilities of the active one, since the combinations which are possible would be too many.
The abilities which the kings use after being defeated are:
侧援指令
(Qiang the Merciless)
癫狂之吼
(Meng the Demented)
不灭之影
(Zian of the Endless Shadow)
掠夺
(Subetai the Swift)
Here is a video showing how my guild dealt with the bossmechanics:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQUo_ZVz8h4&feature=bf_next&list=PLHs1z6wAbUQDtrnOqLC6ggsBqTuMn2qKG
We had the order:
Qiang the Merciless
Zian of the Endless Shadow
Subetai the Swift
Meng the Demented
And notice that this video is showing how Qiang is pulled wrong.
Additions in heroic
At 30%HP the next King will spawn, so you have to fight two kings at the same time during the transitions.
The order is fixed to:
Qiang the Merciless
Subetai the Swift
Zian of the Endless Shadow
Meng the Demented
Each King gains a new ability that works as a self buff:
密封之盾
makes Qiang immune to damage, dispells all debuffs and makes him attack for each hostile action that is dealt to him. (only dispellable with
群体驱散
)
Subetai does a debuff that reduces damage and healing done and armor value by 50% while affected by
盗匪诡计
. If he is stunned the debuff will not be applied. Ranged DD have to watch out with slow flying projectiles as the cast is shorter than the time your projectiles may need.
Zian will deal high damage to the raid, when his
黑暗之盾
is active. A damage stop is required until all 5 stacks are dispelled.
Meng gains the double amount of insanity, when affected by
癫狂
. Simply dispell this enrage effect when he is under 60% insanity and let it on him, when above this threshold.
A video of how my guild did the heroic difficulty can be found here:

Basic guide for impatient raids. Assumes you have DBM or similar:
You will get the bosses going corporeal in any order. Ability in
bold italics
is repeated when still in spirit form. Q is the only one you stack for (Meng, only stack when he does Maddening Shout); rest spread with /range 8. Bosses best tanked in centre so you can see direction of Flanking Orders and spread around for other attacks.
Qiang (pronounced Jang) - stack
All in front to share damage from Massive Attacks; move behind to avoid Annihilate. Use group heals
Move from
Flanking Orders
(adds marching in a line will one shot you) pref. in same direction as tank
Meng - spread - stack for
Maddening Shout
(but don't kite a Meng's Undying Shadow into raid) & AoE
Crazed: let every Crazy Thought through to shorten. Heavy heal tank at 60%
Cowardice: interrupt to prolong until 60%, then stop damage
Subetai - spread to avoid multiple
Pillage
and arrow Pinning
Volley: move out - 1st 100K dmg, 2nd 200K, 3rd 400k
Rain: hit to remove arrow from pinned person ASAP
Zian - spread to avoid multiple people hit with Charged Shadows/Shadow Blast
Charged Shadows/Shadow Blast: interrupt; target needs extra heals
Undying shadows
: fixated player, kite and move to wall; kill to drop defile-like pool. Pool shrinks, shadow comes back to life after 30 secs (soft enrage)
Minor edits to reflect sucessful raid tactics

I just noticed a cool thing about flanking orders, you dont really have to move out of the line to avoid the damage. You can just move right through it if you time it so you move past them when they dont "slice".

Spirit Kings on heroic difficulty
Normal-difficulty Spirit Kings is one of the easiest encounters in the raid, yet in heroic it turns into one of the most complex encounters to execute correctly. It requires lots of cooperation, self-awareness, and
a dash of good luck
a Blizzard hotfix that makes it far less RNG.
The order of the encounter on heroic difficulty is: Qiang, Subetai, Zian, and Meng. The main complexity of the encounter occurs during the transition phases, when you have two kings alive simultaneously (DPS cooldowns are usually best saved this time).
Typical setup for 10-player heroic difficulty: 1 tank, 2 healers, and 7 DPS.
3-healing is doable but your DPS will have to be strong enough to beat the Berserk. You will want to have at least one priest for
群体驱散
, though it's not strictly necessary.
Each of the bosses (except Meng) have a special heroic-only ability --
a "shield" that causes retaliation of some sort if you attack them with active abilities
. An
active ability
is an ability that is
directly
caused by the player, including:
casting a spell (technically, retaliation occurs when the spell
lands
, not when cast),
applying/refreshing a DoT,
using a melee or ranged ability,
as well as autoattacking.
Uncontrollable proc effects and periodic damage from DoTs are not considered to be active abilities. Melee must ensure that they stop autoattacking when the shield is being cast, while ranged must be even more cautious as some projectiles can take more than 2 seconds to land on the boss. (Not sure whether pets and guardians can trigger the effect -- need more info.)
Qiang uses
密封之盾
. This shield will cause Qiang to cleave the raid whenever he receives an attack. The shield can be removed by Mass Dispel.
Subetai uses
盗匪诡计
. This "shield" causes attackers to gain a
debuff
similar to
被掠夺
but lasting twice as long (particularly dangerous for tanks). The Sleight of Hand effect can be temporarily suppressed by stunning the boss. Be aware that the ability lasts 8 sec so most stuns are insufficient to cover the entire duration on their own (stuns have diminishing returns as well, much like in PvP).
Zian uses
黑暗之盾
. This shield will inflict massive Shadow damage the raid whenever he receives an attack. Think of the icon as a harsh reminder that this is a deadly, raid-wiping ability if your DPS don't stop their attacks immediately (and preferably ahead of time). The shield has 5 initial stacks on 10-player heroic difficulty, so be sure to Purge/Dispel/etc all the stacks before returning to DPS the boss.
Meng is the oddball. His new ability is
癫狂
, which doubles his energy generation while it's up. You can Soothe (or Tranq. Shot) the buff off but it's not overly important. To help your healers, you should leave this buff up whenever his energy is above 60.
The bosses can be roughly categorized as "stacking" and "spreading" bosses. Dealing with a stack/stack or spread/spread boss transition is usually easy, but stack/spread transitions can be rough. It is therefore important to know the degree to which stacking and spreading is necessary.
Qiang is obviously a stacking boss due to
群体攻击
, but it isn't absolutely necessary for the whole raid to stack (although preferable to do so).
Subetai is a spreading boss because of his
定身箭矢
. On 10-player heroic difficulty, a minimum of 3 players must remain outside when
定身箭矢
is about to occur, otherwise he can pin the entire melee group.
Zian is a spreading boss thanks to pretty much all his abilities (
不灭之影
is the major culprit). It is possible to stack cautiously as long as
暗影冲击
is interrupted regularly and
不灭之影
is on cooldown.
Meng is a stacking boss due to
癫狂之吼
, but the raid can spread out as long as
癫狂之吼
is on cooldown.
Some tips:
When Qiang is below 30%, the timing is usually such that he will
歼灭
while the
侧援指令
are still in progress. The best way to handle this is to pull the boss
quickly
all the way to the wall, and let him
歼灭
facing the wall. This maximizes the amount of room available for other players to dodge other abilities (including the ones from the 2nd boss).
A couple seconds after Subetai engages, he will
连射
the raid. Therefore, if the raid is stacked, they must be prepared get out of the Volley instantly or suffer fatal damage.
Any ability that removes Physical debuffs and/or breaks stuns can be used to remove the
定身箭矢
effect (both the stun and the DoT), e.g.
保护祝福
,
生存意志
. Sometimes it bugs out the
定身箭矢
add that spawns, preventing it from despawning. As long as the player is free, the
定身箭矢
add is of no concern.
Very often
不灭之影
can line up with
癫狂之吼
. The Shout can do a lot of damage if players are not broken out instantly, while the Shadows inflict high damage in a small radius. There are two ways to deal with it and it depends on the situation:
Stack up, break the Shout, and then spread back out immediately.
Stay semi-spread out, assign players to break each other from the Shout.

"The Spirit Kings now activate in a fixed order." as of December 3rd hotfix!
I do not know of this fixed order yet but will find out soon enough.
Lets just hope Meng the Demented is last!
