Master Snowdrift says "You do not truly know someone until you fight them" before fighting you in the instance, to me it's a clear reference to what Seraph says to Neo after fighting him in the Matrix Reloaded film.
tanks just remember to strafe away from his Fists of fury, much like Hagara's.
and you will be fine.
Simple fight really .
Tank should strafe away from
(or simply run through boss)
did not seem to cause to much problem, but tank can if you want, try to stay cool during this.
All melee should keep an eye open and avoid
He will at disappear and split up into 2/3, him self and one or two mirror images. The mirror images disappears after some damage, after this he continue to fight as usual.
"After sensitivity training, Master Snowdrift now respects personal boundaries, and will no longer sometimes give awkwardly long hugs."
Yet another one of Blizz's awesome bug explanations.
Sometimes, in the mirror's images phase, he throws a red
fireball. Nice touch.
Obviously a reference to the mythic red fireball in Street Fighter 2. Actually... some of the monk animations (hurricane kick?) look suspiciously like Shotokan moves o_O
Constantly left click him. He'll start saying things that are a reference to Pai Mei in the Kill Bill Movies.
He'll say things like
"You move like a Pregnant Yack"
"Your so called Kung-Fu is really quite pathetic"
"Your swordsmanship is amateur at best!"
"So my pathetic friend..is there anything that you CAN do well?"
left click him one more time and he'll say
"I knew it! All you are good at is ordering food in restaurants and spending your guild's money! Get out of my sight"
Awesome hidden reference ;)
I noticed that when he splits into 3, rogues can instantly tell which of the three is the real Snowdrift.
If before the phase starts you have ANY combo points on Snowdrift, the real Snowdrift will still have the combo points, while the fake one will not.
So in other words, follow the rogue :P
There's a little bit of a detail for the tanks which I have seen once or twice. If you run through the boss to stand behind him while he is preparing to cast Fists of Fury, he will swivel around to face you then perform the ability, possibly punching out the unfortunate rogue (or anyone else, for that matter) standing where you are. To avoid this happening, it's best to wait until the boss begins channeling before moving out of the way.
As a rogue I died from fists of fury while using Killing spree. :[
