Debuff is a movement speed one -50%.
She pulls the group in, then players are surrounded by a ring of adds. Focus kill 1 add fast - as they all walk towards you in a ring. The add you kill will leave a small gap to run through the incoming cloud of shadow... run out.
If the add isn't killed in time, the boss will likely one shot a few of your party.
You also don't want to stand in the shadow, or run out before killing the add. As you'll likely die too.
This is where she stood, heroes, and this is where she fell. The time-lost echo of Sylvanas Windrunner will reverberate through the rotting limbs of the Dragonshrine for all eternity.
Another band of Deathwing's converts? I'll be sure your death is especially painful.
Watch, heathens, as death surrounds you!
And so ends your story.
This ... isn't how it's supposed to ... end.

Her Calling of the Highborne is awesome. My group attack separate and had no clue the ghouls were hard to kill. Was freaking out when the the circle was closing in. I just jumped over the purple stuff.
Our first encounter here, we ran in knowing nothing about the encounter, we didn't even read the dungeon journal.
If you want to make this easier...put a raid marker on the ground somewhere to the southwest of where the boss is standing. Whichever ghoul spawns near the marker "kill it" this way people don't hesitate while your group leader tries to put a skull on one of them.
MELEE DPS: Do not try to stand behind the ghoul inside of the purple stuff. You will die in about 3-4 seconds.
Also, do not try to blink, cloak of shadows, or shield and run through. You will just end up killing your group from lack of dps on the ghoul.
Also, spread out for most of the fight until she raises up into the air and does the calling. She does a lot of targetted aoe abilities and spreading out more then 6yds apart will reduce a significant amount of damage.
She could be nominated for the new Jin'do/Ozruk.
Every other boss is easily defeated except her.
Apparently her "fire" during her encounter seems to come out of the feet of an unsuspecting group member, with no warning, all you'll see is yourself dead if you didn't move out properly.
Most likely a healer intensive fight due to the insane amounts of damage people are getting everywhere from Unholy Shots and stuff.
The ghouls get a debuff for every 5% of their HP missing they gain 10% or something? I didn't bother to read much since I was too busy tanking. Anyway, the more damage the ghoul has the more damage it will take.
1.08 million HP, 5% of that and it'll take additional damage, and it stacks until it dies, I checked it was up to 280% damage taken increase by the time it was nearly dead. So don't think you only have 10 seconds to kill a 1.08 million HP mob, you'll have plenty of DPS as long as everyone's alive and focusing down on one mob.
Probably the hardest boss in End Time, though still, in comparison to some bosses, she's not too hard, just requires people doing exactly what needs to be done, without hesitation, as even a few seconds wasted on the ghoul phase can wipe the group.
Here's some tips to help with this boss, from a healer, who has been having a heck of a time healing this boss.
First off, all ranged needs to spread out around her. Most of her skills will do damage to someone, and also hit anyone nearby. It can really cut down on the damage the group takes if all ranged (even the healer) spread out.
She has 3 arrow attacks, which to my knowledge, are unavoidable. 2 of them will hit the primary target and anyone nearby. This is why you need to spread out. She also has a single target attack that will deal about 75,000 damage to one person instantly, and debuff their movement speed. Make sure this is dispelled, as it can end up killing the person if Blighted Arrows hit them. Her final arrow attack is the aforementioned Blighted Arrows. Once it hits a person, the ground beneath them will turn into a purple goo, slowing their movement speed, and dealing quite a bit of damage for every second the person remains in the goo. (I guestimate it was about 60-70k damage a second).
Anyway, the phase that most people wipe on is the Ghoul Chain. Essentially, she will use Calling of the Highborne, pull everyone up in the air, and summon ghouls. What this is, is the ghouls will constantly move towards the center of the circle they formed, with a trail of purple mist behind them. Everyone must kill the SAME ghoul. Now, the trick here, is the melee HAVE to move backwards with the ghoul, as they get closer to the center. If you touch the purple mist behind them, you will deal damage to the group until eventually the group dies. So always move with the ghoul, staying in front at all times. Pets do not activate the purple mist's damage. Once the ghoul dies, a path will open through the mist where the ghoul was, allowing your group to get through without damage.
For those having issues on figuring out which ghoul to target, here's a tip for something I've begun doing. One ghoul ALWAYS spawns in the small outcropping of the land into the river-like water. Think of it like a small peninsula, if you have trouble finding it. I will add a picture at a later date. Simply put a raid marker on the small piece of land, and tell everyone to kill the ghoul that spawns there. The key thing to do AFTER the ghoul dies and you get through the path it opened up, to spread out IMMEDIATELY. When she lands, she will cast Blighted Arrows on someone, and if you aren't spread out, everyone will become trapped in the purple goo, and as a healer, I can tell you, I can keep maybe 3 people alive trying to get out of the goo, if I'm lucky.
Anyway, just repeat this, and you should be good. For those who know the fight and just want a cliffnotes version of how to deal with the ghouls:
Put a raider marker on the small outcropping of land in the "river" of water. Tell everyone to kill the ghoul there. After you get through the path opened by the ghoul's death, spread out immediately.
Hope this helps someone. :)
Here's hoping the writing of her improves from here on out. She seems sufficiently awesome, here.
Interesting that she's in the Ruby shrine; it's probably not intended to be significant, but if one were inclined, one could probably tinhat for a while about this.
Death Knights, you can use Dark Simulacrum and steal Shriek of the Highborne, it's a tad hard to time it right, but when you get it, it's well worth the 20 RP spent as it does 60-80k damage.
I was very sad when I learned that I had to kill The Dark lady last night. She is and always will be my favorite NPC in this game.
Starting Feral cat's, a hint:
Save dash to ghoul-phase. you don't want to cat-charge the marked ghoul because that leave you behind the target, and that's the end of you.
I really like the look of her swords, could anyone tell me if there are player obtainable versions of them?
Chances are, with the dismal drop rate because of the shared boss loot (Or maybe an extremely unlucky streak), chances are you'll see
Vishanka, Jaws of the Earth
from LFR before you get this bow to drop. She seems to be overloaded with cloaks, but no bows.
in terms of headbashing rarity, but still.
Bow never drops my hunter brothers. Better off going for the gun from hour of twilight.
Its better anyway.
its me or its hard to had a chance fight her cause ihave done like 20 time this dongeon and i never get that fight.
So....through a string of bad luck with a very bad group I learned something about this boss. It is solo-able for a Blood DK, albeit very unpleasant and nerve wracking. The way I managed to accomplish the feat was as follows.
Keep up diseases with Outbreak, of course. DPS Sylvanas like normal, heavy on the Death Strikes to replenish health, and it would be wise to use Icebound Fortitude so that you can use it later on in the fight as well. Use Dark Simulacrum on her Shriek of the Highborne. Don't even attempt to DPS down a ghoul when she summons it, simply wait and use AMS just before the explosion and you will survive without much problems. Vampiric Blood + Death Strike will bring your health back up and keep it at close to being full. Be sure to use Rune Tap whenever you are able to as every bit of health matters. If you find yourself not being able to replenish runes fast enough at some point to counter damage (and more than likely you will) it's a perfect time to use Empower Rune Weapon. Vampiric Blood (if it's off cooldown) + Raise Dead + Death Pact is another way to get yourself out of a bind. You will likely find yourself in a bind quite often in the fight, but it is possible to solo her down from 100% to 0% and just look like an all out boss. So if you just feel like giving it a try, or find yourself in a bad group and Sylvanas has a size-able chunk of health, you have nothing to lose by giving it a shot.
...especially if someone doesn't accept your b-rez in a 5 man lol.
EDIT: It should be mentioned that I am a fairly geared DK at ilvl 394
