One of the most annoying of the rare-champions in mists. He is surrounded by elite hozen. If you attempt to pull him into the nearby water you will probably end up aggroing the water elemental nearby.
Even worse is the fact that if you die to him, you cannot rez at your corpse. There is no way to get to where he is from either graveyard you could end up at from the ground and the graveyards do not provide flying mounts.

I also believe that if you dont finish some quest in vale he will be phased as he was for me when i found him.

This rare is actually quite easy for a pet class. I solo'ed him as a demo lock with absolutely no pressure at all. The biggest trick is perfecting the pull and positioning, so here is what you do:
1) Set up portal in the middle of the lake. Use your voidlord. If you look facing southward, you will notice three protruding sections of the flat-top rock pillar are touching the water. Hop on the one to the west and hug the pillar. At max range pull him with CoE but do NOT teleport until he is near you or else you will change his path and he could aggro a Hozen Face-Smasher. This should be full-proof, since it worked twice for me perfectly (first time I pulled with a fishing pole, so I demon leaped down the cliff to reset him). When he is within 10 yards, teleport to the middle of the lake.
2) Fight in the northwestern area of the lake. He has two primary abilities:
A banana whirlwind ability. Stay at max range and this is easily avoided.
A random jumping ability. Just get as far away as possible and pull your pet off, because this is when he can get close to the elite elemental. Use this as an opportunity to heal your pet up. He got very close to the elemental but apparently doesn't pull it as long as the pet isn't following him around.
His damage is fairly weak, I health funneled three times the whole fight and the fight does take a while because he has 4.1M HP. Feel free to blow all your offensive cooldowns to make the fight go faster. I didn't have to use a single defensive cooldown, but let your teleport stay off cd in case of an emergency.
Another good idea is to use
if for some strange reason you don't already. If crap happens and something else aggroes, jump off the cliff then demon leap. The drop is far enough that it will reset him.

Soloed as a feral druid. Clear the two guards on the side by the pond (or at least the one right by the water.) You might be able to pull him past them, but I would be afraid of aggroing one during the fight. He is leashed, though his leash is pretty long, it goes almost to the waterfall on the far side of the pond. However, two or three unlucky jumps when he Goes Bananas and he'll reset. You want to fight him right at the edge of the water as much as you can.
His Bananarang ability is nasty, 200k ticks of magic damage, he throws it in the direction he is facing, and it travels faster than you can run - just step to the side and you should be fine. (Make sure it doesn't catch you in the back of the head on its return. Not only would that be bad for you, it would also be terrible cliche.)
When he Goes Bananas, he will start jumping around and slamming into the ground. Run around so that he doesn't jump on you and you should be fine. You can run toward where he lands and get a hit in as long as you keep moving. It can be dangerous, but if you are able to let him finish casting this and start channeling, you can stun him immediately and he won't jump around. However, if you are standing still waiting for the cast, the very first jump will be right on top of you. This seems to work best when you run around a bit while he channels then run in just as the cast is finishing to stun him.
There is a lot of movement in this fight, and for at least half of the time you will be out of melee range of the Major. Focusing your damage on DoTs helps dramatically.
If you die, you cannot rez at your corpse, you have to spirit rez and wait 10 minutes before your next attempt.

Spanws on the very edge of Vale of Eternal Blossoms. For me, this whole area was still phased preventing me from pulling him; however, you can fly just south of him and be in the Valley of the Four Winds zone to make him un-phased. Theres a skinny but long ledge on the cliff that borders the vale and the valley for you to fight him on.
As a mage I put Slow Fall on myself, flew up to the edge of the valley, used an instant cast to pull him and spammed other various abilities to prevent im from resetting. He followed me down to the ledge I spoke of and killed him there.

Solo'd as a hunter. His regular melee damage isn't that bad so you don't need a tenacity pet. The damage from his abilities on the other hand will kill you in a second or two. When he goes bananas pull your pet back and just constantly move to avoid his ground pounds. Also stay at a good range so you can easily avoid the bananas he throws. I was able to use scatter shot to stop him from doing his "going bananas" thing and I would also use intimidation to stop him from using some of his abilities.
Be sure to clear out the 4 or so elites near him first so you have room to move around. If you are going to use something like stampede, only use it directly after the going bananas finishes so that they wont be up when he goes bananas or else they will follow him around as he jumps and might aggro adds.
Take your time and it will get done. I died the first time, had to get res. sickness and no one flew by in those 10 minutes. It's not a high traffic area.
Got the whistle and a cape.

Pulled him in to the water without aggroing any of his elite buddies.
As a warrior I just used charge immediately when he was Going Bananas; this interupts his spaz attack and prevents him from jumping far away and aggroing nearbys elites.

If you are having problems killing him due to phasing issues, there is a simple solution (for some classes).
If you put a ground AoE down where he spawns while he's phased out, then fly off the cliff and land on the (very) small platform just off the side.
As you leave the zone he'll re-appear, then when you land he'll come running if your AoE is still active.
Doing this he'll only come with one guard (the one closest to the ledge), if you feel you have enough time before someone else comes then pull him in the same manner.
I wouldn't recommend fighting him on this ledge, Going Bananas is unavoidable on here. However, once he's got down to you just hit him a couple of times and then jump to the next platform. If you jump down one more then you get quite a large (albeit narrow) area to fight him in.
Good luck.

he was phased in Vale of Eternal Blossoms for me, but not in the Valley of the Four Winds. I ended up being able to pull him from the Valley from 24.19, 27.89. As a druid, i used
Glyph of Faerie Fire
for a 40 yard pull and
Glyph of Grace
to minimize the fall damage, but most classes should have some trick to manage a ranged pull and survive the fall damage.

All Hozen rares use the same set of abilities.
Toss Filth hits for negligible damage, but its stacking damage debuff can be trouble if it gets too high. Fortunately, it should have time to reset during Going Bananas.
Bananarang is lethal if it strikes you. Simply strafe to one side while the Hozen is casting it until he throws it. Remember to stay out of the path even after this, because true to the name it will come back to him.
Going Bananas is the most dangerous ability in a Hozen's arsenal. During Going Bananas, the Hozen will leap around the battlefield causing massive damage if he lands on you. It's hard to get out from under the Hozen's landing point because he moves so fast, so surviving this attack is somewhat a matter of luck unless you have defensive cooldowns to pop every time he uses it, or can kill him before he does it a second time.
It's best to fight Hozen in a large, open area to give him more room to jump around, decreasing the chances that he'll land on you; if he doesn't start in such a space, kite him to one. Alternatively, stunning the Hozen during the channel will put a stop to the attack, while stunning him during the initial cast will only cause him to cast it again once the effect wears off.

If you're doing this solo, make sure you don't pull him too far away. Whenever he is Going Bananas you don't want him to jump away too far. Whenever I tried to pull him into the waters and keep a safe distance from the elites surrounding him he began Going Bananas and jumped too far away and started to evade immediately after the ability ended.
It ended with someone else taking him from me since I couldn't mount up fast enough due to combat, and lost the rare. So keep that in mind.

This is quite easy as a shadow priest. A few tips:
1. Pull him into the water. The first rock IN the water just north of his position is where you should be centered.
2. When he casts his banana boomerang, remember where you are and where he is standing. Do not stand at either of those spots. As he casts it move away from those spots and don't stand in between those 2 spots. The banana will either stay where he is or go to where you were as he cast it.
3. When running away from the banana, use levitate while in the water to get a little more speed.
4. When he goes bananas, use void tendrils to completely nullify the ability.
5. Try to always work towards the rock.
If done correctly you will barely take any damage at all.

Easily soloable as a BM hunter.
All I did is cleared the higher platform, above him, 2 elite hozens. Pulled him up and sent pet in to keep him busy. If you are not confident about it, MD him to your pet.
He's got 2 abilities to watch for:
- Bananarang: Simply avoid it, however, your pet might take some damage, keep the Mend Pet up on him.
- Going Bananas: This is the harder part, but it seems to be on a CD equal to Scatter Shot (forget Intimidation, the cast is too fast to react to, and the jumping is unpredictable, your pet will not be able to reach and interrupt him). When he starts to jump arouind, simply use Scatter Shot on him.
If you execute everything right, you shouldn't have problems with him.
Happy Hunting.

There is a way around the phasing. There is a ledge off to the side of where he stands (his left), sticking out from the side of the mountain, and you can pull him down to it. My boyfriend (hunter) was flying over said ledge and took a pot shot, fell to the ledge, and there we were able to kill him without phasing being an issue.

Despite all the elites surrounding him and his hozen abilities, the mob isn't actually that intimidating whatsoever. Anyone with a snare on a low/zero cooldown (Entangling Roots, etc) can solo him with ease. His 'Going Bananas' ability is nullified by the snare, so I as a Balance Druid pretty much just nuked him and casted Entangling Roots every other spell to be on the safe side. Do note that if you go this route you will get high stacks of the Filth buff (it increases your damage taken) so be careful not to be hit by his Bananarang!

A few tips for other rogues...I found the best way to stop his "Going Bananas" was to spec into Dirty Tricks and Gouge him. You can also stun of course, but you may or may not have the combo points/energy available at the exact moment you need them. Also I used Glyph of Blind to blind him for a minute and bandage/wait for stacks of Toss Filth to drop off.

Just some helpful advice for DK's: if you're gonna solo this guy; spec in chilblains, and whenever he uses 'going bananas', just use your chains of ice on him. he'll just stand on the spot, and if you chain it well enough, he won't be jumping around at all. may take a bit longer to kill but it's a whole lot safer too.

hug the mountainside closest to the water pool, there should only be one elite that you would have to kill unless you have a taunt (woot warlock taunt FTW)
back up and bring him to the coast, still hugging the mountain, interrupt that jumpy spazzy thing he does as often as possible, he is a 91 elite so non pet classes may have a bit of a time with this one, from my experience downing him on a warlock, use wrathguard with your pet aggro buff, save shadowfury and axe toss for his jumping ability and always pop your heals on your pet, downed him no problems, lvl 90 ilvl 472

I was able to solo this NPC on a 90 BM hunter with average IL (Item Level) of 458. First I cleared out every one of the elite Hozen standing around the Major, then engaged him in the large open space in the middle. Took me about 10 minutes to clear the elite hozens and another 3-5 minutes to drop Major Nanners. Luckily the Elite Hozen around the area seem to be on a fairly long respawn, about 20 minutes I would guess. So as long as you clear out the big area of land you should be able to move around and avoid his bananarang and going banana's abilities (For the pet classes anyway). Not sure how the other classes would fair against this crazy ape but for any pet class it shouldn't be to difficult with the clearing out strategy.

As of 5.1, there is now a graveyard just caddy-corner to his spawn location.
As an undergeared balance druid, I was able solo him after about 3 attempts. I was able to adjust to his abilities. I began by kiting him quickly into the water. The water is shallow enough that I was able to run and didn't have to swim. Pulling him into the water allowed for me to have all the space I needed due to his abilities.
For his "
Bananarang
," I just strafed away from him as soon as he began to cast and made sure I didn't run into harm's way.
For "
Going Bananas
," I would run around the entire cast time, generally spamming the hell out of moonfire/starfire and hoping to get a starsurge proc, in addition to using Starfall if it was up and maybe one of the damage-increasing cooldowns.
There isn't anything you can do about "
Toss Filth
," but the longer the fight lasts, the buff will stack and damage taken will increase. I was at 10 stacks before I killed him and it got to where his auto attacks were hurting me pretty badly. This is when I was definitely running around to avoid his hits, relying only on instant spells and procs.
As a boomkin, I hardly ever was able to actually cast a spell as I had already died to him a few times and I was running around like an idiot in order to avoid his really hard-hitting attacks. But using a mixture of Rejuvenation and Nature's Swiftness for a quick Healing Touch, Lifeblood(herbalism), Barkskin, and any other defense cooldowns, I was able to last long enough to pretty much kill him using mostly instant spells.
It may not have been the most effective way, but it was 2am and I really didn't care.
And then all he dropped was a strength back piece >.<

Solo'd as an average geared 90 BM hunter. Very easy. Stand in the water right up against the cliff. Send your pet up to attack Nanners then pull your pet back by putting it on passive. Head to the middle of the water and then send your pet back in once Nanners is there. Stand at max distance and just burn him down.
Easy burn, just stand at max distance to avoid his random jump ability. Also avoid the bananarang if he uses it.
I didn't have to kill any of the elite Hozen doing it this way, but others have said that they had to kill the one closest to where you send your pet up the hill at Nanners.

I am not sure if this will work every time but I found a nice trick. Stand against the mountain on the top of the bank right by the water. This should put you in range for a ranged attack. This is also away from the adds. Aggro him and turn around and run right through the gap between the large rock in the water and the bank. Run through the water and stop right as you get out on the beach. When I did this Major Nannors got stuck between the rock and bank. He can only hit you with one ranged attack that does very little damage and you can kill him very easy.

After perfecting the Hunter Solo of Major Nanners i have discovered the best way to kill him. When you fly towards his spawn land right on the edge before the water. Then kill the add you aggro when you land. Next, place your pet on defensive. shoot the monkey and go to your left till you hit a round hump then slide into the water backwards. If you did this properly nanners should be located on the slant of the hill fighting your tank pet. Move away and dps the rare. His Bananarang should last only like a second and he will remain stationary for Going Bananas. This should keep him nice and contained for an easy fight. During Going Bananas make sure you heal your pet because every "smash" in the ability is hitting your pet rather than just one or two.
Sorry for waiting to post this i wanted my Wikki Whistle before in case someone from Blizz read this and fixed it.
P.S. I would assume a Warlock would be able to utilize this technique also.
Happy Hunting,

This ooking monkey fellow is quite annoying, but after a couple of deaths I finally managed to kill him alone, being a Guardian druid without any epic equipment.
Now, he is surrounded by a few elite mobs, but they stand rather far away from him, so pulling him the right way doesn't attract them as well. Based on my experience, the best way to pull him is to come from the lake and to stand on the rock next to the one he's standing on. Then you should go down to the lake and stay in the water close to the ground. That way he won't pull any elite mobs around and you will have enough space for maneuvering at the same time.
For you melee players, his nastiest ability is
Going Bananas
. He starts jumping around and if you're unlucky enough to let him land on you, he'll deal lots of damage (especially when you've got some
Toss Filth
on you). You can solve the problem by stunning him while he casts
Going Bananas
, otherwise you shall run.
Mind you, this ability may lead him too far away from you, which will make him to run back to his starting position, regaining his health and evading your attacks; interrupting the ability somehow is the best way to avoid this. I used either Bear Hug or just rooted him so he couldn't move.
Bananarang
is easy to avoid since it takes him probably 3 seconds to cast it - just step aside and the banana will miss you. Be warned, though, it deals quite a lot of damage as well!
Toss Filth
is a nasty ability, too, but if you are cautious enough, you don't need to be worried about it at all. Having it stacked on you means he will deal lots of damage to you, but I am unsure whether this can be avoided or not. Not being a melee, at least. Otherwise, his autoattack is quite weak and you don't have to be afraid of it.
I don't know where exactly was the graveyard before, but at this moment (1.1.2013) it is based between the elemental on one side of the lake and the Hozen on the other - reaching your corpse is very fast.

Hard to solo as a heroic geared Enhancement Shaman. We have no way of interrupting Going Bananas, which makes not dying to it a pain in the butt, especially once stacks of Filth start adding up.
Talents were Astral Shift, irrelevant, irrelevant, Elemental Mastery, Ancestral Guidance, and Unleashed Fury. Clear out most of the hozen near him if you have time.
Drop Searing Totem and open with Wolves/Elemental Mastery/Ancestral Guidance. Beat his face in and take advantage of your absurd amount of self-healing to spam MW5 LBs. As soon as wolves go down start using MW5 to heal--you're going to need as Filth stacks build up. Obviously sidestrafe when he starts casting Bananarang.
Use Ascendance when he uses Going Bananas so you can keep DPSing. Keep your distance and use Spirit Walk if you need to; if you're feeling ballsy, stop for a bandage.
Use Wolves/EM/AG when they come back up and, if not needed, use MW5 for LBs while wolves are up. The healing they provide will almost entirely negate incoming damage if you aren't getting hit by anything.
Still tricky and frustrating since raw RNG can kill you via Going Bananas, but totally doable.
EDIT: I stand corrected. If you're psychic, you can interrupt Going Bananas via Capacitor Totem. If you're not psychic, you can at least get a few extra seconds to DPS without him hitting you.

I suggest you to kill him where he currently stands at. Thereby, after he "goes bananas" there will be less space for him to jump around and it's easier to follow where he lands and then dodge it faster. Don't worry, he won't change his spot, meaning jumping down where other elites are at. If you provide him to fight in a larger area then his jumps will be more scattered around and perhaps less avoidable.
NOTE: Soloed it as enhancement shaman.

Being melee I had to agro him on the cliff. I ran between the big rock and the cliff and stayed there, Depending on where he jumped, I moved ever so slightly to the right, between the big rock and the little rock, but mostly stayed to the left, between the big rock and the cliff. When he went "bananas" jumping around the lake, he never once jumped on my spot so I rarely
got the stacking debuff... the big rock blocked most of his damage so that he had to come around it to fight me. Repeat: when he went "bananas" i just safely waited it out behind the rock and ignored his hated evade. Remember: THE ROCK IS YOUR FRIEND. YOU LOVE THE ROCK.
If he jumps too far away and you have no peroidic damage on him he will try and slooooowwwwly walk back to his spot on the hill, but guess what? His slow path takes him right past your beautiful sweet spot, so I used my ret-pali ranged stuffs on him to refresh my seal and keep constant agro while whittling him down. Putting a trinket on that did periodic damage-ticks helped.
When he came back around the rock to engage me I nuked him and did what heals I could when I could. Never had to use LoH, just used my bubble to clean the debuff but wasn't really necessary. He is stunnable and interruptable. The fight took about 1.5 minutes. This is your best method whether you are ranged or melee. My gear score was 430-ish and I honestly think you could use this tactic with even lower gs.
I took out the add closest to the lake first and honestly that was a harder fight.

The "Going Bannanas" ability, similar to other rare spawn near-instant kill abilities such as jinyu Rain Dance or Pandaren Spinning Crane Kick, can be interrupted by way of a crowd control spell to lock them down after they've started channeling the ability and will have thus put it on cooldown. Some CC's won't work, like fear, but rares are, at least, susceptible to stuns and some class CC's such as paralyze.

Some useful infos:
The graveyard problem got fixed. If you die there, you'll ress next to the water.
You will need to kill some elites before pull him, because he will jump over the area like the primate he is. I recommend to kill all the elites at the same level he is. There is 6 elite that you will
not
need to kill:
- There is 2 elites in the higher level ground next to him. You don't need to kill them.
- Far from him, at the opposite side of the 2 elites mentioned above, there is 4 more elites in another higher level ground. You don't need to kill them either.
To simplify, take a look at the following image:
http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/5081/majornanners.png
Kill the elites in the red area. You can skip the elites in the blue area.

There is a way up after you die. when you res. With Nanners on your left walk over the water and there is a thin strip of cliff or rock, just jump up there and walk up and around and you can get up on the platform where Major Nanners is and your body :D. hope that helps. What I did, was I just killed 4 or 5 of the hozen to make room so he could jump around, kited him, dodged the nannas and when he jumped around i just kept my distance and he only came close to hitting me once. pretty easy if you take your time with it

I think they fixed him already I pulled him in the water and only manage to pull 1 elite mob but as a hunter i just use my trap to seal that mob and just continue to hurt him.I use a crab pet to seal his movements with
"Pin"
Bananarang
Is easy to dodge the only one that you need to be aware of is his
Going Bananas
he could land on the mobs and pull them towards you.You can pull him in the middle of the pool which should be a good place to do your slaying. I picked up
Cloak of the Forgotten Emperor.
PS
it may be tricky to melee and caster type unless you can kite him around but becareful where u kite him he might just use
Going Bananas
to pull the angry mob towards you.

As a Rogue, you can solo this guy without taking a single hit. Use Deadly and Crippling, and just Shuriken Throw him to death. Assuming you don't get unlucky and get him to land on your face during Monkey Business, you will get through it with no damage taken whatsoever. He can never catch you.

As others have said roots -
纠缠根须
work great against Going Bananas. As Guardian Druid, between evading and getting stomped, I must've tried at least 20 times. I tried interrupting with stuns, but half the time he would just recast.
Pulled him down to the round rock in the lake. Rotated around that for bananarang. Cast roots for Going Bananas, which also gives time to heal up if necessary.
Took awhile, and no, it wasn't worth it, but at least I have my pride back :P

Very easy as
shadow priest
with proper talents.
The pull - you can totally ignore the elites around you - simply hug the wall and pull him from the ledge below him near the rock in the little pool below and quickly run back on water with
Levitate
(you can
PW:S
yourself when talented
Body and Soul
for extra speed) to get to the safe ground. If he evades, just chase him back and keep throwing
SW:P
for instant damage, he will eventually go back to you.
As for the fight -
Toss Filth
is ignorable, two other abilities counter by either using
Mind Bender
on him and dropping aggro with
Fade
or rooting him with
Void Tendrils
, especially when he's about to do
Going Bananas
- this will root him and keep in place. Other than that, just keep range and heal when necessary (although
Devouring Plague
combined with
Vampiric Embrace
should keep you topped off, you can throw
Renew
occasionally as well if things go bad).

This place is very buggy. I can't even get to him without him disappearing. You can only see him from the Valley of the Four Winds side. But when you get close it changes your location to saying "Mistfall Village" when that happens he just disappears.

Doesn't seem to matter where I stand, he always lands directly on top of me by the third jump or so. Just did it three times in a row.

Currently Nanners is very soloable in the water. I kept him close to the edge, not too far in. That way there's no need to clear the elites on land.
As a rogue I just used the usual monkey rare tactics. Shift around 90 degrees when bananrang is cast, as it stays in front of him, so you take no damage. And then move away when he casts Going Bananas; if he gets close just move a bit further.
The elites on the land seem to hit harder. Weird.

He can be taken to the shallow pool without aggroing the other ookers. I stood on the second hill behind the hill he was on, did a range attack, and kited him into the water. Much easier than fighting off the others.

This guy is still seriously bugged. Thanks Blizzard for fixing the graveyard. Makes it waaaay easier to try it 10 more times each time he bugs. Seriously. How are you supposed to beat him EVER when he is continuously doing "Going Bananas"?

Don't need to kill any of the mobs around him. Go behind him (east), pull em' across the water, and there is an entire area you can fight him freely (Like 10 feet away from the graveyard). If I can solo it with ease on a green geared hunter, anyone should be able to. Doesn't hit hard and has a fairly small amount of HP.

he reset the first time, he just came back to his spot, healed and chased me again. this time, i dps him in the middle of the lake.

Dear Rogues who wanna solo: Paralytic poison+shiv seems to work. I felt it a bit bugged, he can get a few jumps still, but maybe it was my connection etc and I couldnt re-shiv in time.
Another thing to watch out is the bananarang, it comes back!
I killed two adds by the lake, pulled him there, just went for regular attacks. Kept an eye on bananarang and shived when he went bananas. Easy peasy.
(I'm a 499ilvl rogue, but it should be doable with less, you may wanna pop recup to be safe)

Probably just me, but this guy's name sounds like a euphemism for a woman's breasts.
"Whoa! She's got some major nanners!"

I found the easiest way to pull him when soloing (I'm a level 90 frost mage) was to send my water elemental to attack Major Nanners from the tall cliff right behind him, then immediately have my water elemental move back next to me. Only one other hozen followed him; when Major Nanners does "Going Bananas" he ends up jumping so far away from the cliff that it makes it easy to just fight the one hozen and then concentrate on Major Nanners :)

Soloed as Feral Druid, just step to the side when he starts casting Bananarang since the direction is set as soon as he starts casting it, make sure after you've spent your first set of combo points on a Rip that you save them for when he casts Going Bananas, this has to be timed quite nicely but you can Maim him as soon as he casts it (not during the first casting bar because then he'll just cast it again right after) he'll be stunned for a few seconds giving you a nice chance to beat him up a little without taking any hits and Going Bananas will be interrupted for about another 15 seconds and he wont aggro any of the other elite mobs around you because he wont go bouncing around everywhere. I'm assuming any other class with a stun can do the same thing. Also if you're a Feral Druid that struggles to solo it's useful to use the free Healing Touch you get from

Just to add to what's been said - even as of 5.4, he can be quite difficult. Of course bananananarang hurts, but
发疯
is what will really wreck you. I've learned as a paladin to stun him using
after
he casts it. If you stun him before he'll just cast it again, but if you stun while he's bouncing around, he forgets what he was using and goes back through his cycle.
This is especially important as I've been 2-shot by bad jumps, and those hit like a truck.

Confirming that even in WoD this guy can kill you. Attempted to kill him as a lvl 100 disc priest, died in 2 hits from his Going Bananas ability. Also the Bananarang hit quite hard on me. This was without shields as I thought I'd easily kill him. With shield and moving away from his abilities he died quite fast. Just a heads up!

What a Major Pain! He flags on NPCscan but when you get close his skull phases out. Be patient as this seems to happen for several of the Rares for . I just owned him at 7:35am HST. His partner does the same thing.
Patients is a virtue on this one lol!

I think the actual bug here is that you will see the Major Nanners skull on your minimap when you're in Valley. When you cross into Vale you won't see it anymore. I was thinking that it's a phasing issue, but I think the real bug is the skull on your minimap. I see the skull right after killing him.
So if you see the skull don't go crazy trying to get the phasing right, chances are if you don't see him he's not actually there!
