Korda Torros is not a difficult fight. Deal with his mechanics each time they come up and he will go down.
He has three abilities:
急速冲锋
吼叫之怒
牛蹄践踏
As I fought him as a paladin I do not know if he will charge after the initial pull. After charging he will either cast
吼叫之怒
or
牛蹄践踏
and alternate thereafter. The response for both should be to run out of melee range to avoid being stunned or taking an enraged hit. Since he moves slower during enrage you can easily kite him for that duration if needed.
Do not get hit by his stomp. It will deal massive damage.
He is stunnable as well.

Was a somewhat challenging fight as a 87 arms warrior because I grabbed an add running from his AOE. I went defensive stance when my dps cd's were up and then used my defensive cooldowns.

All Yaungol rares use the same set of abilities.
Yaungol Stomp hits hard, but is very easy to avoid. The Yaungol will stop moving to cast it, and the range is only a couple yards around him. Just take a few steps out of it.
Charge will only be used if you get more than 20 yards from the Yaungol and isn't particularly dangerous by itself, but combined with Bellowing Rage can be lethal.
Bellowing Rage is a massive damage buff that will allow the Yaungol to make mincemeat of you in short order if you allow him to hit you. Fortunately, the buff also slows the Yaungol by 20%, so all you have to do is walk away until the buff wears off.

I took notes of kill times when I was farming to get a feel for when he might respawn. Maybe this data will help someone else trying to farm him (note: I was afk waiting for him to spawn so these times are directly related to his respawn):
(server time)
6:53pm
8:12pm
9:09pm
10:32pm
-break-
4:43am
6:51am
8:55am
It seems that he respawns faster during peak times on the server, and slower when fewer people are on.

DO NOT KITE HIM TOO FAR!
I kited him probably about 200 yards south of the camp towards the road and he disengaged and ran back, only to have some other player tag him and get the kill.

Warning - The Forager's Gloves MUST be equipped to give mining the speed boost and they are BOP Cloth gloves. I farmed him with the belief that they were BOE's that worked from your inventory and that is very much bad information that I had. Wont be wearing these losing my Plate Specialization as well as the loss of so much stats from the gloves themselves. Such a disappointment.

standard tactics for a hunter for this fight.
MD to your pet and heal constantly though the fight. pull him to a clear area where you have either cleared mobs or at the bottom of the small cliff he patrols on and then tank and spank. Aslong as pet always has a heal on it, it wont die. Simple fight just stay out of his melee range (which ofc you will do as a hunter ;) )

This is all anecdotal. In summary my theory is that he has a respawn cooldown based on how many times he's killed back to back.
In my own dealings it doesn't seem to have any specific relation to server time or other rares in the area.
It's as if he has an internal timer and the more you kill him back to back the higher his "cooldown" to respawn. He's the first rare I've noticed with this sort of mechanic. I'll refer to this as my imaginary timer.
I've killed him a total of ~30 times ranging from between 12pm and 4am and between 12am and 4pm on different days; in both cases his respawn went from ~1hr to almost 2 by the last downing regardless of whether I started at 12pm or 12am. This is taking into account that other rares weren't up or were possibly recently killed. Yeah, my luck stinks. 30 kills and no gloves - 300g in bracers isn't a great consolation. I have gotten a few magnificent hide from the bags though so that's nice. I digress.
I never usually take this much interest in a rare, in fact I rarely farm these kinds of mobs but I really, really want the gloves and it's upsetting having killed him so many times and not seen it drop. Somewhere a blizzard employee is watching me and giggling.
I have dealt with grabbing other rares for a specific piece of loot and they're generally on a very clean 60-90 minute respawn time, not to mention my luck with them is immense vs. this guy.
I have also tested letting him roam a bit - it's very risky and I have lost him to others doing this but at least I can verify that when he does roam for a while there doesn't seem to be a cooldown on his respawn; that is, he will almost always respawn in the allotted 60-75m. I don't know how long he should be left to roam before this imaginary timer goes away but I wouldn't make it a habit of doing it. I certainly won't.
There aren't many people camping him on my server as I'm able to predictably log out and back in to find him. When I am unsure, I ask a friend to park there and watch, that is how I've come across this conclusion.
My hypothesis then is that only thing that seems to matter is if he is "farmed". Once he is, after 4 or 5 times killing him back to back (often 60-75m apart) you can be sure that he will either not spawn at all for 2-3hrs or he will start spawning on a 2hr rotation.
When I did this the other day, starting at 12am server time, there were similar results though I didn't stick around for 10 drops. I stopped when he started coming every 2hrs. Later on that day when I farmed again, he was back to 1hr respawns.
My times today were (approximate from memory):
12:20pm
1:23pm
2:26pm
3:32pm
5:30pm
7:27pm
8:25pm (I missed him, but saw another person killing him). I got on seconds late it seemed.
10:32pm
12:29am
2:24am
3:59am
Can anyone disprove this? I'd be interested in knowing. For example, have you been able to successfully see him every hour for say 12hrs or more? There are many variables but I feel strongly about this being correct.
Good Luck.

Maybe this can help, those of you who want these forager's gloves.
I've been watching him, from the idea of what others have posted he spawned in a nearly 1 hour range, I've found out that when I began the major torros grindfest, he was spawning on the way western side of the camp, EVERY SINGLE TIME, in a pocket of spikes right next to the western entrance of it, I've seen him spawn in three different locations within that pocket.
Judging by what others have said, set up camp the first time to pop his spawn timer, and went and fished / did something productive for 45 minutes. Came back, waited and 55 minutes later he spawned, the next time 47 minutes, next time 1 hour and 15 minutes, next time 53 minutes. It is so sporadic, you never know when he will spawn, the longest I've had was an upwards of 1 hr, 54 minutes logged into my tracker, while I waited that long I was browsing atlas loot while tapping a macro for /target so that my npc scan would go off.
Personally, I don't prefer camping at all, especially not a rare that's right in a camp where lower lvls could use the gear off of it, and exp, loot as well... (risky grouping with other people you don't know/trust), but if that's what blizzard wants then oh well I guess, camps ahoy lol.
It's the only way to get the gloves though through a fast method, and due to the drop rate, it's still slow. 14th kill was just then, and still going :( Hope others have much better luck than I do, so my cheers and good luck to all others who wish for these gloves, it may just be a rough ride.
Edit: I just got them off of him today, my 21st try! good luck to all :)

I have been camping Korda on my farming character for the last few days to try and get
劫匪的手套
, firstly it is worth noting that he always spawns in the same place in Fire Camp Ordo (the very far west side of it around 47, 80).
Killing Korda is fairly easy, I have been doing it on a level 89 feral druid with bad (386 item level) gear.
He has 3 main abilities - Rushing Charge, Bellowing Rage and Yaungol Stomp. Melee hits are negligible.
Rushing Charge - This has a 20-60 yard range, so stay below 20 yards and he will never use it. I only got hit a few times pulling and it was hitting for roughly 20% of my hp.
Bellowing Rage - This ability causes Korda to enrage, dealing 190% more damage but slowing his movement speed by 20%, some classes will be able to tank through this. If not, its easy enough to kite him a little - it only lasts 5 seconds. (I assume it can be dispelled.)
Yaungol Stomp - This is an aoe (6 yard range, easily seen by the animation on the ground), casted ability that inflicts 65% of your total health in damage, just move back when he casts it.
The first day I didn't really know what i was doing but I quickly worked out how he spawns and killed him around 3 times that day.
The second day I started camping around 14:00 and got my first kill that day at around 14:13, after killing Kordos the best thing you can do is fly around and kill all the other rares in the zone, I have found that this seems to reduce (slightly) the spawn timer of kordos to almost exactly an hour (it will never be less than 1 hour). I didnt keep an exact record on the second day of farming but I got around 10-11 kills and never had a spawn take longer than 75 minutes using this method.
If you have an enchanter it is worthwhile killing the other rares on that character as over the past 3 days I have had a countless number of
飘渺碎片
from disenchanting the rare drops which I have made into scrolls.
Lastly, it is also worth killing Lon the Bull in Townlong Steps (he is very close to Ski'Thik in Kun Lai) as he has a chance to drop a bag which can contain 15-20 golden lotuses in it and Yu Wildpaw who can drop Sha Crystals.
The coordinates of all the rares you need to kill are -
- (Townlong) 67, 49
俞·野爪
- (Townlong) 32, 61
Below are the record of kills on my third day of farming Korda using the above method.
Korda spawn times on third day
13:00 - no drop (kill 13)
14:08 - no drop (kill 14)
15:21 - no drop (kill 15)
16:31 - no drop (kill 16) - forgot to reset NPCscan so I didnt pick him up straight away this time.
17:32 - no drop (kill 17)
18:43 - no drop (kill 18)
Korda spawn times on fourth day
16:22 - someone else got kill
17:28 - no drop (kill 19)
18:46 - no drop (kill 20)
19:51 - IT DROPPED! (kill 21)
Please Upvote if this comment has been helpful.
@Quackie - (Can't reply properly, new to Wowhead and I can't yet ^^) I believe the other rares do not need to be killed, but doing so reduces the spawn timer slightly to around 1 hour. - Hard to test as they are almost always killed on my server by me or other people.

I agree with sixsigma9. I actually got this on my first drop, but the irony was that other people were farming just like me (high population server) and they always somehow knew when he'd spawn so I'd either see his dead body or wait for 2 hours and finally see him get taken by another person! This went on for the entire week. I can only imagine if I'd had to do this until my 31st drop like the others here.
Whoever thought of having Forger Gloves drop off a lvling rare with such a low drop chance definitely hated farmers. I can understand if Bliz doesn't want these gloves for every gatherer out there, but there should be another method to make it fair in time spent. Waiting for his spawn for several weeks, literally hours each day, while also therefore lower the chance for other gatherers and other lvling characters in the area that want his experience and drops, since you kill him, will make a vast waiting line that is so frustrating it borders on do Insane in the Membrane, which average players just don't have the time or patience for!

Korda Torros'
spawn point
is located directly in front of the burning totem pole in the far western section of the camp where the quest npc Akonu the Embercaller is located.
If you position yourself directly between the oil pump and the totem pole you can tag him without getting any adds. Just drop off the short cliff behind you and you have a clear field of battle. If you can't get a shot in from a short distance to grab him you may have to keep the area clear of only 2 mobs. Spawn timer for my kills was about 75 minutes.

I just spent this Monday evening, prime time server time, camping this guy for the
劫匪的手套
. Here are my notes as to spawn times:
Firstly, he spawns damn often. After about 4 hours, he spawned 5 times (when I got the gloves).
There was not a wide variety of spawn times.
He spawned about every
40-45
33-56 minutes
, but mostly after 45 minutes.
EDIT: I came back and edited this after camping this guy for a whole morning on another toon. After more than 20 respawns total now between toons, I have never seen him respawn faster than 33mn nor have I ever seen him respawn longer than 56mn. He does often spawn after 45mn.
He always spawns is the exact same place, on the far left of the camp between two guards.
Hope this helps plan your stalking.
Good luck for the gloves!

I got mining profession. Ive tried so hard to farm them, ive killed Korda Torros, the rare boss who drop the gloves, 27 times. I Know it cuz i got 27 item from him. No gloves. Why? There is a reason for that
1. Wow hate me.
2. I'm unlucky
3. Wow never drop what you need when you need it
4. I'm Lucky
5. IT IS WHAT IT IS
Everyone, please CHOOSE 1 answer between those 5 answers please /%$?/&?$&!*
Thank you!
Have a nice day

*/%$?/&?$&! mean a very bad word with immature language.
And if you got comment about the drop for forager gloves. In fact if you got any interesting comment about farming the gloves, in 2013, now, please post it. Post it on the Korda Torros page or on the forager's gloves page thank you again
And the % drop from mob in timeless isle is like 0,8% So it's much more rare than the % drop for korda torros, remember that.

In the past 30 days, I have killed him ( in a party of 2 ) 27 times. Neither one of us have had the gloves drop yet. We have tried just after server restarts @ AM resets & at random times. Usually we find spawn times around the 45-55 minute mark. ( low pop pve server ). I dont want to say that the 10% stated drop rate is wrong, as I havent killed him 100x, however, it's not looking promising.
Has any one got the glove drops as of late?

This fight is pretty easy for a hunter. I did it at level 87 and any half decent hunter should be able to do this without even breaking a sweat.
Make sure you have your pet specc'ed in Tenacity and have

.Keep

up at all times.
Make sure you're a good deal away from Korda since
牛蹄践踏
hits real hard.
Occasionally he uses
急速冲锋
which you don't have to worry about. It hits for around 15k at level 87.
It might be possible that he wont charge you if you face him away from yourself. But I'm not sure about this
He also uses
吼叫之怒
which can be neglected completely if you have
被烧毁的雕文
which simply outheals all the damage he's doing.
Got my first

Took me over fifteen tries on my Hunter, and got them in one on my Druid. Go figure, RNG! He spawns in one hour or less. Positioning is an issue. If you begin the fight where you won't draw too many adds, it is easier, but if someone else tags him first, you'll be waiting for another spawn time.

If you went to Fire Camp Ordo, saw that it's 'empty' and no Korda Torros at all (and noticed Mogu invading the gate of the August Celestials), your character is 50+ (meaning you passed thru BfA), then you might need to do the questline starting from
魔古压境
first.
You pick it up at the Mogu inside the vale of Eternal Blossoms (BfA phase), inside the same cave you did some quests for Ra'den (Heart of Azeroth and the like), then head back to the northern gates for the quest(s). The quests took me ~20 minutes at most, but it solved the 'mystery' of seeing Korda Torros on my main inside the village and on the needed toon, not.
I kept checking the Fire Camp Ordo village after each quest in the questline done, and only after the last one,
返回雾临村
, the NPCs returned, with Korda Torros.
Edit: Dunno if it's a but or else, but it seems you can kill this rare multiple times within the same daily reset (or I didn't read this page right)?
