Usually have the best luck finding these near the northern coast. They have long paths and extremely annoying to find when you actually need to kill one.

He is actually soloable, as a level 36... (Hunter, beastmaster.)
Met him out at the beach. ^^
Just kite him around for a while - while you pet is parked somewhere near you.
Make feign Death while your pet starts to attack - and you've got it.
(I did... But that was before the big pet revamph thing. My pet back then, was a tiger.)
