This guy's voice actor is painfully familiar to me. Anyone know who it is?
"Stop it, you tiny, angry woman!"
As of the date of this posting, January 03, 2011, it is possible to obtain the quest
Ron Targetting Test
On Second Thought, Take One Prisoner
in Deepholm. The technique involves a Priest using
on this NPC before he has taken a large amount of damage, rendering him friendly.
After the Priest Mind Controls Mor'norokk the Hateful any party member will be able to right click him to obtain the quest, except for the Priest doing the Mind Control. After the quest has been obtained by a party member, it will become shareable allowing everyone, including the Priest doing the Mind Control, to obtain it. Once the quest has been accepted, either by getting it directly from Mor'norokk the Hateful or through a party member sharing it,
Ron's Test Buff 4
will be cast on the person accepting it.
The tooltip of Ron's Test Buff 4 read as follows:
30 yard range
Instant 1 min cooldown
Absorbs 10 healing. This is a conditional: something false else something true and lasts 30 sec.
funny = 47 funnies
maybe = 247.83 maybes
storm = 2428.73 storms
If any damage over time abilities were on Mor'norokk the Hateful when he was Mind Controlled, and the resulting damage brings him down into the "friendly" state the quest intended him to be taken down to, right-clicking on him will result in him grabbing the person and holding him/her by the neck. The Priest will be able to move Mor'norokk the Hateful freely during this period, but after Mind Control ceases, Mor'norokk the Hateful will simply stand frozen. The person being held by the neck will be unable to do anything until Mor'norokk the Hateful despawns.
This occurs because in a normal completion of the quest, Mor'norokk the Hateful will become friendly and tell players he will divulge the information they seek. When players attempt to interact with him however, he grabs them and attempts to drop them off of the gunship before he is stopped by a member of the Earthen Ring. It is unknown why this quest becomes available to players when he is Mind Controlled.
"I hope you can fly, pipsqueak!"
"Um, I'm a druid, dude."
He has a familiar voice, but the closest I can think is Plankton from Spongebob.
Today ( may 20th 2012) I was levelling an Alt and did the quest of the interrogation.
The final part where the guy is dropped in the engine and "splatted" (?) is removed.
Instead, some air elementals spawn and "zap" him away.
His last quote:
Mor'norokk the Hateful yells: You! Let me go now! Wait... no! Don't let go!
perhaps Blizzard removed it because it was too mean, which IMHO agree.
This guy...why does he even spill the beans anyways? Ok plot is like this..hes dangling over a fan blade by the dwarf's gryphon. She acts like she's gonna drop him to get him to talk. He talks and then asks to be pulled up, and finds out she "tricked him". He says something along the lines of "you know what you have done? you know what the shadow council will do to me when they find out? I'd sooner die" and then jumps into the fan below. Why would he talk in the first place instead of just jumping into the fan? Then nobody would know about the shadow council and they might've succeeded in Deepholm.
