Found him at 54.49, that is where he spawns and rest is after people kiting him around while killing him. He's slow and easy to kite.
Abilities of notice:
He does a AoE fear on regular basis if anyone is inside melee range.

He is quite slow and most likely kitable
However, my group of 3 killed him with a Feral druid tank, Enh Shaman healing, and Demo warlock dps.
His attacks include:
Melee - hit for around 1,000 on bear. His attacks are fairly slow.
AoE Fear - a couple of second casting time. Lasts 5 or 6 seconds and wipes aggro.
Double Breath - 2 or 3 second casting time. Flame breath attack for targets in front of him. It ticks 3 times for fairly high damage. This attack (at least the second and 3rd ticks) can be avoided if the tank runs away as soon as Uvuros starts casting it.
We basically tank/spanked him. Whenever he feared (and tremor totem didn't work), the warlock would kite him around until the druid tank could charge back and taunt. Whenever he did breath, tank ran away from it.

Kited him solo as a 70 hunter, without outside help. Kited him to Shattrath and just did laps around it. Took forever, but very easy since he's slow.
I bet if you're careful enough, minor speed will be faster then him, so you could use Aspect of the Viper. I used Cheetah, and could basically take a nap while he was catching up.
Guards don't attack him, don't even bother. For extra kicks, kite him to Shattrath, get some people to hit him. FD. Enjoy the slaughter.

I kited him as a 69 hunter too with AotC, only i kited him to Shadowmoon Village, just stay on the road and you should be fine.
And on the topic of guards, i got guards in Shadowmoon Village to attack him, due to him doing his aoe fear near the guards, and if you use the little hill and he spikes, you can keep the guards on him at all times, just make sure you do the majority of the damage to him, something around 40-45% (which should be easily done by the time you get him to the village) or you won't be able to loot him.
I think he was slowable, not a 100% sure though.

Possible to solo with several different classes, it takes long but it's doable. As a mage, using Fire Blast every 7 seconds and Ice Lance every 3-4 seconds it took me about 15 minutes.
Stick to the roads and just keep ahead of him spamming instant casts, should be easily done for mages, hunters and balance druids.

Immune to spell interruption, silence, slows, roots, and stuns. He's basically a five-man dungeon boss, and has a lot of health. It will take awhile to get him down.
The fear has a short range and probably does not wipe aggro. It's just that he'll attack people who are un-feared before those who are.
If you're going to do it in a group, the tank should keep him pointed away from the rest of the group, probably north, so the flame breath doesn't hit anyone else. Also, when the tank gets feared, just run away until the tank comes out of fear.
Standard anti-fear measures are a good idea, of course. Otherwise, have a druid stand out of range of the fear (healing or DPS), then switch to bear to off-tank while the main tank is feared.
Oh, and don't rest on your laurels after you kill him. He respawns quickly!

solo kited him as 68 destro lock.
he is damn slow, though it took quite a while to eat through his 140k hp.
as of 4/13, the PTR patch notes state that he "now moves considerably faster" so if you plan to kite him, you should do it before 2.1 is released.

Kited him to Shattrath City with only the 8% speed metagem for most part. 2 party members helped clearing mobs in Tuurem for easy passage, but can probably be done without.
Approx 135k HP and the last 30% went down easy with ppl helping in Shatt.
Pretty fun to do, if you want to kite him, do it before 2.1 patch

Easily duoed with one hunter and one holy paladin. There are two ways you can do it, either use misdirection shot on your pet and let him tank while a paladin/priest heals it (can be tricky), or let the paladin tank and heal himself, and using consencration to gain aggro, while the hunter/DPS nukes Uvuros. A threat-reduction ability comes in very handy.

Soloed it as an elemental shaman in pretty good pvp gear. It took me less than 3 mins using Fire Elemental and Heroism. He melees for around 900 at 50% damage reduction. His fire breath has pretty long range and is not interruptible so run away from it, and keep tremor totem down if you're a shaman. Other than that, just LB / Healing Wave rotation.

There usually spawns a herb about 5-10y next to him, funnily enough you can pick it without aggro'ing him. His aggro range is about hugging his paws... kinda funny ;)

Soloed as a feral druid in tank gear (3/5 Malorne + Badge stuff), was pretty tough actually. Popped out to heal twice, and ultimately killed him with moonfire and only 500 life as he double breathed. Scary.
Advice to bear tanks trying to solo this: step away as he double breaths and you'll have a much easier time than I did.

This guys is totally kitable. I did it today on my server. 70 Resto druid 5/8 T6.
Keep rank 1 moon fire on him at all times. Stay in travel form till I was at about 50% health, pop out and do Rejuvenaion followed by Swiftmend and another Rejuvenation. Rinse and repeat till you get to where ever you wanna take him. I got him into shatt hoping that he would kill adal. But instead Adal pimp slapped him in 1 shot for 98000 Damage!!! If adal swings for that much, i am curious about M'uru

Solo'd by feral druid in good tanking gear.
Just clear the demon & imp patrol on top of the nearby parapet. Clear the demon and imp to the left of the stairs and the patrolling doomguard. Pull Uvuros to the top of the parapet above the demons you killed. Whenever he does his double fire move, hop off and quickly rejuv, lifebloom and regrowth if time permits.
Go back to bear and faerie fire quickly. He can evade out if you're too long out of combat.
Rinse repeat until dead.

3-man'ed him with 70 rogue tank, hunter and 69 druid on heals. Basically dps'ed all the way down with heals being the only drama. His AoE fire damage hits very hard, and his fear can cause some trouble too.
As stated above, get the tank to keep the flames away from the group and try not to stray too far or you might aggro the surrounding mobs even while feared.
Other than that he's pretty much your average elite with 69k HP.

This guy is indeed kitable, as a resto druid, but you need some awesome mana regen to do so. Just R1 moonfire and travel form. Also a couple of lifeblooms when needed.
Another thing, if you're soloing it, watch out for the horde/ alliance pats on the roads. They are a pain in the ass

Taming Uvuros:
Your gonna need a healer, the more the better. I went in this with alot of stamina gear, and kept monkey on at all times. With gear and buffs, I was sitting at a little over 11k health.
Obviously your gonna want to start at a distance. You want to start out trying to get as much threat as possible, so start out with distracting shot, multishot, arcane shot, and do a raptor strike when he gets to you. At this point, flip on deterrance to help you survive a bit longer. Start taming him. Odds are he will AoE fear you, so you just have to start again (shammy tremor totem helps here to get the fear off you quicker, i would image a fear ward would be great as well). Have your healers keep you topped off, and disperse the threat amongst themselves to keep him on you. If your feared, distracting shot, arcane, multi, raptor again, and start taming again. Took me two tries to get him, just takes a bit of practice.
Alternative method:
Just walk around and tame a damn "Spawn of Uvuros." It's a level 69 non-elite, so I would imagine its very easy to solo it. I didn't realize these existed until i ran down the hill to test out my new pet. I siced him onto a Spawn, then kicked myself.
Happy Hunting!

I tamed him.. it was easy.. here the steps i used
Have a healer to keep you alive.(i had a priest (no need to be healer main spected))
When you think you have enought aggro pop out
Deterrence
which dont need any talent point anymore. and put yourself in
Aspect of the Monkey
having a point in
Aspect Mastery
could help too.. (also if your a dreanei use your
Gift of the naaru
that have been boosted in the new patch)
start to tame
Make sure the healer is keeping you up whitout taking aggro.
o and make sure the healer dont come to close to him or else he will aoe fear which will result in a lost of channeling

Just soloed him post-3.0 with a Prot Warrior in Kara/ZA gear. 13.5K HPs, 15.3K armor, ~500 BV.
Make sure you've got a couple of pots and your cooldowns. Keep TC and Demo Shout up, mash your DPS moves, and pop Shield Block as soon as it's ready. You can't stun or interrupt him, sadly.
If he starts casting a Shadow spell, it's his fear. Use Berserker Rage. The cooldown on his Fear seems to be at least 30 seconds so it should never be a problem.
If he starts casting a Fire spell, it's his fire breath, which deals over 1K damage per second if you stay in front of it. As soon as he starts casting it RUN AWAY and take the opportunity to bandage yourself for a couple of ticks.
That's basically it. I killed him with 42 HPs left and Shield Block ended up saving my butt. Good luck!

I tamed this guy solo this morning, thought I'd offer some pointers.
First, I bought a bunch of Of Stamina green items, got my HP up to 13k. I also bought a Haste Potion and a Fire Protection potion.
Tame a disposable pet. You're not gonna use it for any combat, so doesn't matter what it is or what level.
Aspect of the Monkey, pop the Fire Prot potion, wait 1 min for the C/D, pop the Haste Potion. This'll reduce your Tame Beast by 5 sec, which is a big help. Immediately spam the following macro.
/castsequence Bestial Wrath, Deterrence, Tame Beast
/script PetAbandon()
It will cast Bestial Wrath, abandon you current trash pet (no warning message - be careful!), pop deterrence and start Taming. If you do everything right, Deterrence will last for 10 secs of the tame and Bestial Wrath will last the whole 15 sec.
Took me two tries once I had the whole method down, but wasn't that bad at all. I didn't need all 13k HP, but I wouldn't suggest trying it with much less than 10k.

Fel Blossom
,
Lifeblood
,
Super Healing Pot
, and a tiny part of a
Frostweave bandage
b/t hits. Just keep up Bone Shield, IBF, diseases, Death Strike liberally and hope for crits, and use both Runes (Blood Strike) and Runic power as soon as you get it (DC, RS, Gargoyle).
Probably could have survived the encounter if I hadn't just switched from keyboard to Nostromo N52, was still working out new macro's and keybindings and was really clumsy on the controls.

Try one - fear & flames. Dead.
Try two - lived. Barely.
Try three - laid snake trap & backed away to max range. Started tame, he hesitated - less than 5 seconds at snake trap & then closed. Hit me with claw repeatedly. Finally tamed him with 2K health left.
I now have the most drop dead gorgeous pet. For the effort it was completely justified. Maybe not as elusive as Gondria. But gorgeous.
He does NOT, repeat NOT take any notice of freeze traps - he's 25 feet tall - what a bit of ice is going to slow him down ? But he can be solo tamed - just. And I had previously abandoned my previous pet - Pitch. So no assist there.

Buffs: Stamina Scroll +43 Stamina
Major Armor Guardian Elixir - 550 Armor + Mixology
Major Strength Battle Elixir: +35 Strength + Mixology
Dreaming Glory 30 Hp5 (as if that matters, but nonetheless)
Well Fed: +20 STA
Blessing of Kings: 10%
Seal of Light
At first I started with Retribution Aura, but I switched to Fire Resistance Aura (60 resistance) later on. I suppose I could have done Devo aura too. His double breath is the real killer though.
All buffs combined I have 1713 Attack Power, 704 strength, 591 STA (8631 health), 7105 Armor (42.57% reduction -- devo aura brings this to 44.89%, so I'm guessing the fire resistance is far superior).
I have 51 hit rating as well, which helps since he is a level 70 elite (and I'm level 68).
No real rotation -- judgement of light every cooldown, divine storm every cooldown. I never use consecration because it's such a huge mana drain, and you'll need that for divine storm spam. Also, Flash of Light every Art of War proc, regardless if you're at full health or not, because you'll want every Sheath of Light proc possible (when he fears you and then does double breath, you'll be thankful for the healing over time, even if it is only on the crits -- you'll still notice it).
I did bubble once when I got pretty low (~2500 health was lowest I got), but I really blame this more on the insane lag out here in Outlands. That's another reason you spam FoL and divine storm every cooldown though, because of the lag.
The only thing that will possibly kill you is a fear + double breath if you're already low on health and you get unlucky with sheath of light -- even then, that's what you save bubble for ;-)

The best thing was, even though I didn't have any food for him, I could specc him so he'd be happy while attacking, and as the ultimate irony, we used my newfound core hound pet, to kill the re-spawned Uvuros, which made my pet VERY happy.

Hot yourself up, go to bear and pull him. pop any CDs you have, you'll be using most of the longer CDs at least twice. when he starts casting his breath, run away, cast rejuv on the run and a regrowth when you're a safe distance away from the breath and go back to bear, if he casts his roar, run away and cast a rejuv and pop back to bear.
If you keep this up, you should be fine on health for the most part.

Possible to solo at 69 as a Frost Mage.
Starting from behind his spawn point, position the water Elemental at the extreme left of the shelf he's on. Position yourself on the extreme right.
Let the Elemental pull.
After the Elemental fires a couple of bolts, start charging Frostbolts. Use procs as they happen FoF/BF/PARTICULARLY Deep Freeze.
Uvuros will come at you after only a couple of casts. Once he's on top of you, let him get a swing or two (you should have Ice Barrier up, glyphed if possible) to finish casting or use any procs, then Ice block. He will run back at your elemental.
Once he's there start firing any spells you can again. Once he turns to come after you again, burn mirror image and blink away so you're not in the AOE fire. At that point burn Icy Veins and any other cooldowns you can. Trinkets, racials, etc., anything to help you DPS him down. Once you drop aggro with Mirror Image you're on the clock, as this is the only free cast time you have and it doesn't last long.
Chances are he'll still be alive by the time your Images are killed, but with any luck he'll have less than 20% health. He'll turn to come at you again, but once he's on top of you burn Cold Snap and Ice Block again to get him to go after the Elemental.
Once he's there, this is your last chance. You'll only have a few seconds after coming out of Ice Block to cast, so when he's on top of you for the fourth time, refresh Ice Barrier/Mana Shield, blink, turn and use any instants you have up. Hopefully this is enough to do it.
I'm in about half and half blue/green Outland gear, nearly all of it quest rewards, namely from Nagrand, and was able to do this with:
70 Hit Rating
240 Crit Rating
540 Spellpower
Don't be afraid to let yourself or your Elemental take a hit or two. Neither of you can tank for squat, but if you need to use a proc or finish casting, you should be hearty enough to manage. Of course, potions and food buffs help.
Good luck!

Hello, I just registered and would like to tell you that I was able to solo it being a Demonology Warlock level 67 and this is the only spells I used:
I decided to use the Voidwalker as a pet with his Torment ability, so I can be safer as it will always take the aggro.
I started attacking with the pet's melee while standing some yards away to avoid any threat.
As soon as VW is 100% Threat, I casted Curse of Tongues and Bane of Doom, then summoned a Doomguard.
I did focus on VW health and kept using Health Funnel, taking special attention into my health points too, since I didn't want to take any aggro I had to use Life Drain when my HP bar was below 60% (remember you don't lose as much HP as you heal your pet)
When Doomguard died, I started casting Immolate, but sometimes it missed, so I had always, CoT+BoD+Immolate...
Eventually, Uvuros would have stopped of casting the breathes of fire so I decided to cast Curse of Weakness, but I don't really know if it was working as I wanted.
And that's it, that's how I made it today.
Good Luck

I finally managed to get Uvuros down with my level 70 frost mage - and of course
Ice Barrier

Terrifying Roar
), so without Mirror Image I would have been down quite fast, even with over 10k hp and shields.
Though I still support the idea of getting a group for this quest.

Solo'd as a level 67 MM hunter. Used Turtle as pet, kept Serpent sting up and spammed Mend pet. Did it 2nd try.

Soloed as a 67 disc priest.
Before you engage hit the earth elemental just near him with Smite to get
Evangelism
at 5 stacks.
After that get your shield up and wait till Evangelism is at about 3 seconds and shield at around 7 seconds and hit with Holy Fire ; Penance and spamm Smite till the cds for Penance and Holy Fire is up. His fear has casting time, time that with
Pain Suppression
cause you`ll have your back turned at him and he can 2shot you in this phase. After fear wears off you hit
Power Infusion
and spamm your earlier rotation. All fight it is imperative to keep shield up so prioritize shield over anything else.
He will never take you lower than 50% so he is actually quite easy.

What happened to Uvuros? I got myself all worked up and went to Shadowmoon Valley to tame this guy as a level 85 BM Hunter. I found him, got situated in a good spot and clicked on him and received that awful message that he's untamable. When did that happen? Was this just a glitch and I just need to keep trying or was he taken out of circulation with 4.2?
I didn't even see any of his spawn. What am I doing wrong?
I tried again right after posting this and had no problem. Didn't have to use anything other than Tame Beast. Just be sure to check immediate areas for adds or mobs. He is
awsome

Hey, I just tamed Uvuros on my hunter, he is very easy to tame once your high enough, I was level 77 and had no problems. He can fear tho sn watch out but don't panic if he does, just start the tame again and keep your fingers crossed you manage to get him. He is also immune to traps which is another point I noticed while taming so be warned! He looks nice tho and I love my pets and he is a truly great one to add to my collection! Tonight me and a friend are going Bwl and I'm going to attempt to tame Chormaggus so i'll repost when thats happend and let you know any differance!
Good luck and happy hunting!:D

Uvuros has the same skin as the
Wrath Hounds
(which are of course demons, and therefore untamable).

just soloed him as a 67 frost mage. Obviously keep your pet up and your ice barrier up, and at the last possible second, pop the mirror image. If your health gets low, use a potion or ice block and let him hit your water elemental for a little bit and make sure you pop your other cooldowns right away!

Solo'd today on my 67 hunter with full heirlooms and Outlands quest gear. Sent my bear in to tank him, used Mend Pet as often as I could and just made sure not to take aggro away from my pet. Pet never got below 50% health. Used Serpent Sting, Arcane Shot, Kill Command and Bestial Wrath. Surprisingly easy, only took one attempt.

I had to help a guild member out with this today, he was a level 68 Paladin and I'm a level 73 hunter currently, we did this with ease a couple of times (second time was for fun). I wouldn't be surprised if I could do this solo as a hunter, but 60K is somewhat hard to kill, especially since I'd have to be running the whole time and not using Steady Shot to regain focus.

Doesn't he make an emote on death? What is it about?

Solo'd at 68 as Arcane. He is no longer immune to slows, as Arcane Blast talented to slow, causes such an effect. Got him to about 70% and popped Mirror, just blasting him over and over. Got really low, but managed to get him first time.

Tamed Uvuros today, took me 3 tries. Didn't do much just tamed him and hoped to god he didnt pop fear. I would suggest having more than 10k health because I hardly survived with 10k health.

Soloed as a lvl 67 Beast Mastery Hunter (And I shun all who mock the spec).
It's pretty easy,
Use a Tenacity pet who has their skill points mapped out so they get the most out of every Mend Pet.
Use Bestial Wrath every time it comes off of cooldown and Kill Command on occasion.
Use Mend pet every couple of seconds as it costs no Focus
I didn't need to use traps. I think I may have used Snake Trap once (Using Trap Launcher, of course).
I was very proud of my beetle pet ^.^ Don't give up hope if you're trying to solo this. Just be very smart about it!

Just soloed him as a 67 Mistweaver monk with full heirlooms, Legacy of the Emperor, Greater Arcane Elixir, Blackened Basilisk, and Scroll of Stamina V. It helps that mistweavers actually heal while fighting. I just kept moving around and healing. Slowly he went down. I don't know if this helps but it can be done as a mistweaver monk at 67.

Soloed as lvl 67 ret paladin on the first try. The fearing was really annoying but good that my chara is a human so I could use the EMfH racial trait once... Flash of Light and Word of Glory kept my health up perfectly and I didn't really have any close-calls of dying. Took a while though since I didn't have any buffs except Blessing of Kings and my trinket's 15 sec lasting 185 ATP xD

First try, just ran in there, pulled out the pet, and popped all plagues.
Lots of death strikes and rune strikes
Didnt go below 30% hp

Solo'd him as an elemental shaman at level 67.A mix of heirlooms and blues. Put down your Earth Elemental Totem, Healing Stream Totem and Searing Totem and just nuke him, do remember to use Healing Surge to heal yourself.

Taking the comments to heart I waited on a healer when someone showed up to fight him, he lost. I decided to try for him before the guy showed back up and took less than usual time with no help and just 10k health no pet, 72 hunter. Thanks everyone for their comments as per usual they are always helpful.

Don't know why anyone is having any difficulty with this. I 1-shot him at level 50, no heirlooms needed.
