The Blackwing Drakonaar is a subboss in the Skyriss fight. It is the 4th prisoner released and has a powerful area of affect damage aura called Brood Power: Black. It is similar to the ones in Blackwing Lair and does around 2k damage a tick.

Fighting him just now in the Skyriss fight, he came out completely immune to fire spells and cast Blast Wave (Identical to the Mage spell). The previous runs I've done through Arcatraz, we've had a guy with the same name, same model, but he did not do Blast Wave and was not immune to fire damage.

He is immune to Cyclone.

Also mortal Strikes (1.2-1.6k usually) and uses a wing buffet style knockback.

Need to be careful not to be knocked unto the walls or he will potentially evade.

I do think there are a couple variations of him as well. such as differing resists, and occasionally not using his knockback/blastwave.

You guys are thinking of the Twilight Drakonaar, which is a wholly different fight from this Blackwing Drakonaar.

The Twilight Drakonaar is a bright blue color, as opposed to the Blackwing Drakonaar's black.

I found him to be almost unmanageable as a spriest solo healing. Blast wave has a huge radius and healing the MT along with everyone else is quite taxing on mana.

This idiot, as I found out to my dismay while soloing as a mage, is completely immune to fire attacks. Make sure you have Arcane Blast or some frost attacks ready. ALSO, if you die while doing the waves part of the Harbinger Skyriss encounter, you will have to start all over again (do all waves). Take note.
