Has anyone caught the spawn timer of this rare? or know the conditions to spawn it? Any info would be appreciated!
Not 100% confirmed yet, but this rare might work the same as
Reliwik the Defiant
If you don't see the rare's props laying around on the spawn point today, it probably won't spawn that day.
are lying around the spawn point indicating it spawns.
Anyone know anything about a stealthed cartel that looks exactly like Xy'rath following you around? Everywhere my friend goes, he will pop up do a flip and stand there in a stealthed stance for a few seconds and then disappear. You cant click him and he doesnt say anything. He even followed my friend into the Heart of the Forest, Nightfae covenant zone. Any info would be awesome! Thank you.
will be mine, oh yes..
will be mine!
Respawn timer for this rare varies between 30-60 mins upon death here were my times:
7:55pm spawn (35 mins)
8:56pm alive (60 mins)
9:38pm alive (41 mins)
so if you know when the rare went down, start a in-game timer, and when you see it is nearing to the 30 min marker I would suggest you fly by or run by and hang out or stay near that area so you have maybe 20 seconds to get there before the rare gets nuked down.
drops one of four new, awesome-looking plasma swords available in Zereth Mortis:
The bright red
a 5.35% drop rate, according to Wowhead).
I call it "plasma" because the "blade" ripples and moves like it's made of plasma -- a very cool animation!
The other three variants are:
The neon green
, dropped by
a 6.3% drop rate, according to Wowhead),
The lavender purple
, dropped by
an 8.17% drop rate, according to Wowhead), and
The golden yellow
, dropped by our favorite jellyfish,
a 10.06% drop rate, according to Wowhead).
There is also one other color variant (available in two different swords, but drops bound by class / loot spec) that is not obtained in Zereth Mortis:
The light blue
, dropped by
(the first boss!) in the dungeon
(drop chances are -*ahem*
- 1.11% and 2.01%, respectively).
According to Wowhead
Classes / specializations for whom these two swords can drop from
(Brewmaster / Windwalker) -
(Havoc / Vengeance)
(Fury / Protection) -
The color variants available in Zereth Mortis are not bound by these class / spec restrictions;
as long as your class can transmog it
, you will automatically collect the appearance when you loot the swords. However, of course since they are not those
new, pink "Cosmetic" transmog gear (which are Bind on Account or even Bind on Equip -
), these swords are Bind on Pickup / Soulbound and cannot be sent to another character. So if you want these swords, farm these rares on classes that can transmog swords -- my mage has collected
3 out of 4
of them! (Yay!) :D
According to a reply by user GraveJaws to user RedxZone's comment:
in your bags will periodically trigger a ghostly-translucent, untargetable, unnamed mob in
's likeness to appear near your character.
It will follow you around for a (very) short time, creeping around and (I think?) sometimes doing a backflip
follow you around like the
the broker will remain stationary
where it spawns until it disappears a few seconds later.
It does not stick around for longer than a few seconds, unlike the accursed ghost,
which explains why it remains stationary instead of following your character. Upon spawning, it will do a sort of frontflip into existence and then stand there like a total sketchball, until it just suddenly disappears. I would say it's pretty different from
, which I think is awesome!
In fact, as I typed this,
I just confirmed that both the "ghostly Xy'rath" from
and the ghost from
CAN BOTH trigger at the same time
-- meaning you can have
the "haunted ghost"
the "ghostly Xy'rath" as your ethereal entourage
This sword is now forever staying in my bag.
I have spent the last few days --since I looted
-- staying cognizant of when the "rogue broker" procs and spawns, and when the spooky ghosty procs and spawns. I even spent a little while (like 15-20 minutes) doing nothing except watching my character to see if and when they spawned, keeping my camera fixed on the spot at which I knew they would appear.
It appears the ghostly broker from
and the spooky ghosty from
spawn together, at
exactly the same time
I was mistaken in thinking the ghost
spawns with the broker, as I have
seen the broker spawn several times in a row without the ghost
(unless the ghost did spawn, and my
buff simply didn't appear
the spawn/despawn auditory cues failed to play... which is
But here's what I find strange and suspicious:
I was conducting my observation in Sinfall, a rested area, where the ghost and broker were spawning regularly and consistently together, always, and every 2-3 minutes. Now I am standing outdoors in Revendreth by
, and though I have seen the broker spawn several times (~8x now) in the 20-ish minutes I've been standing here, I haven't seen (or heard) the ghost spawn even once. I assumed I was just mistaken when I thought the
procced more often in rested areas such as cities and Covenant Halls (I looted mine during the Shadowlands Pre-Patch, so I've had it for quite a while now)... But I'm seriously considering the possibility that this is true. Or that it's just bugged in this specific location...?
So, while I'm providing evidence that the two
spawn separately... I'm inclined to believe it might be because
isn't actually proccing when it's "supposed" to. This is really weird, and it's seriously eating at the "O" in my OCD (which, by now is probably glaringly obvious...). I'm going to keep an eye on it going forth...
I don't have
on any of my characters so I can't confirm whether or not the "haunted cartel guy" can appear alongside the "haunted ghost" from the OG Memento, but I'd imagine that yes, they can.
The sword :
can be obtained on any level 60 character(who can Transmog/Use a sword) not just agility based ones. I got this item today on my mage. Can't say 100% this is true for all the sword recolors but I would assume they also work the same. (at least for ones dropped by rares in
