Spawns in the centre of Endless Sands. It is first mounted on 鲁弗，灭世饕餮者, and dismounts once that is defeated. Frequently goes immune and lifts everyone up in the air before throwing them a fair distantce, but that can be outranged to avoid it. Most importantly, it drops a healing area that it needs to be moved out of, otherwise it will rapidly heal to full.

Dropped 腐朽斩离者的侵蚀之剪. Its mount 鲁弗，灭世饕餮者, can drop 伊斯卡的噬渊鼠缰绳.

Known issues: it faction tags, the tag can reset if all taggers are held in the air, and multiple copies of this NPC can be spawned if only 鲁弗，灭世饕餮者 is killed, and this one is left alive.

Once you kill him whilst he's on the mount
He will then get off it and go back to 100% HP - during this you need to kite him constantly or else his hp will keep going up and won't be able to kill him

Using pets to tank him is not a good idea or else he will never die, he needs to be constantly moving to kill him

Ok, so just to clarify since it's abit confusing, atleast it was for me. The mount 伊斯卡的噬渊鼠缰绳, is not a drop off Iska, but it actually drops from Rhuv, Gorger of Ruin, which is abit funny since Rhuv is a dragon, and not a mawrat. This essentially means, you have to tag Rhuv to be eligible to loot the mount, and not Iska, Outrider of Ruin.

I thought of this, while seeing people loot the mount while fighting Iska. Funny thing I noticed aswell, is that Rhuv only has this mount on his loottable. If there is nothing to loot off of him, you didn't get it, but if he will 'sparkle', as in you have loot waiting, this will give you a 'heads up' you are about to loot Iska's Mawrat Leash.

I killed it 9 times with 9 different characters, and it dropped on my 9th attempt. Meanwhile I usually saw 2-4 mounts per 20-30 man group, so I would assume it's around 3-5% drop chance. Here's a screenshot of me looting the mount while still fighting Iska.

So, these rares drop 246 weapons for everyone. Except daggers for rogues, as usual. Dzjee, blizz.

Killed 苏生尊师玛尔赞 and then killed 伊斯卡，灭世先驱 after 3h and 40min, but not 100% sure this is the timer. I will update the timer between the kills.
UPDATE: 大劫掠者达马里斯 spawned next after 3h.

do you only have 1 chance a day for the weapons to drop or can u just farm them as much as u want?

If you tag Iska but don't make it in time for Rhuv, you can try again on the same day to get Rhuv. Once you do tag Rhuv, as others have said, the drop rate is not too bad, 3-8%. Iska and Rhuv have separate daily loot lockouts.

Do not engage this guy with 大领主伯瓦尔·弗塔根 around during the quest 压制与摧毁 because he will endlessly taunt the mob forcing it to stand in the 脱水之地 spawned by failing to interrupt 毁灭箭 infinitely.

Stupidly long spawn timer. I'd been waiting for it to spawn and it spawned in the 3 min i was away from my computer. Didnt spawn again until around 26 hours later.

This is really a terrible system. You see a zone wide emote when these guys come up (which is good), but I almost always seem to be clear on the other side of the zone. And that assumes they come up at all when I'm on as the spawn timer is huge (hours), so mostly I never even see them.

I never see groups for these guys in lfg. Maybe there was when the patch first came out, but I've never seen any. I do start a group for them and I've had people thank me, so I figure it's an issue.

And of course the weapons are low drop rate AND if that's not bad enough there's no guarantee you'll get what you want. I was in subtlety spec on my rogue and got the mace...

I strongly suspect that the 3 dune rares (Iska Outrider of Ruin/Rhuv Gorger of Ruin, Reanimatrox Marzan/Phalangax the Final Grasp, and High Reaver Damaris/Edra the Will Grazer) spawn after a certain number of other ZM rares have been killed. I have seen them spawn immediately upon killing another rare, and their spawn time is much faster during periods of high activity/rare killing, and much slower during periods of low activity.

I couldn't find a comprehensive list of all the weapon appearances dropped by these three dune elites, as well as which classes could loot them, so I made the list myself. Keep in mind that you do not need to be in the proper loot spec to to obtain the item, just be on that class. For example, my BM hunter can loot the polearms despite not being able to use the weapon in that spec. Some items can be dropped by all three, as noted below, while others require a specific elite to be up.
