Anyone know spawn timer on live?
Spawn timer on live is a lot longer then the 7-10min said here. I started waiting for him at around 9:46pm and he didn't spawn until 10:25pm. I don't know when he was last killed though.
Spawned with me at 50mins waiting since it got killed.
Just tamed this one. Was there when it was killed and really wanted to tame him so I waited and it was about a 42 to 45 min wait for him to spawn again. Just if you see a hunter taming him dont attack him. That happened to me last night. I was mid tame and others came running over and attacked him while I was taming him and killed him.
Tameable but good luck with it staying alive long enough to
Tamed him on opening day, seems to be about a 1-hour timer. you have a very short window after he spawns before he showed up on the world map so if your fast enough you might beat the crowd.
Sat and waited for 90 minutes today to tame it on my Hunter, and there was no spawn.
Either the spawn timer is longer than that still, or it just doesn't spawn some days :(
I've been camping him for hours now and he's not spawning, even submitted a bug report and nothing...
I just tamed him at 12:34pm PST. He's def up today.
Seems like there's a daily (or anything else, maybe following the "Patterns Within Patterns" rotation ?) rotation for rares, some rares did spawned today after not spawning for few days. Vexis spawned on Tuesday this week.
I've sat in the spawn spot for 11 hours now and no wolf no nothing, and I'm still sitting here

I tamed Vexis twice this evening. I can confirm it took roughly 52 minutes per spawn.
What works for taming
is up today
. As people have posted here,
isn't up every day. One place to start is the
Wowhead home page:
. There is a heading called "Today's News". Check the subheading,
"Notable Zereth Mortis Rares"
. It contains a list of the rares that are up today. The week I tamed

: Emerno says “The front page's 'NOTABLE ZERETH MORTIS RARES' has already been wrong twice in a row." You can check by putting the small zone map on the screen.
. I agree that
is on a respawn timer of about 50 to 53 minutes. But it can be a bit shorter or as long as an hour.
Put the small zone map
on the screen. (Keybinding / Interface pane / Toggle Zone Map. Click on the left corner to unlock and move it.) Having the small zone map up lets you watch for the
boss icon without actually being at the location. This is useful only to identify the first spawn. Write down the time. Calculate the next spawn time as 50 minutes later. Be there

isn't scheduled to spawn, you can verify that by leaving the small zone map up for a little over an hour.

You'll need a clear line of sight. Know exactly where

: standing on the floating circular tree that has a clear view of the spawn site. I stood to the right of a small forge-style orb on the floating branch at 39.3, 57.0. You will see a shadow on the ground. That's your shadow, not a rogue. I checked the range by taming members of the pack, then abandoning each. However, if more pack members spawn, you may not see them. You can jump down to kill pack members that respawn, but it's a bit tricky to reposition yourself on the branch with a flying mount. If you're fortunate,

lasts for 3 minutes and is single use. It works for level 60s, unlike other Invisibility potions. Buy it if you can find it on the Auction House. If you have several vials, you'll have a cooldown of 2 minutes before you can drink the next vial. You are invisible as long as you stand still. You lose invisibility when you move, but regain invisibility when you stop moving. Otherwise, you could try hiding in the bushes to the side of the spawn area, but I didn't test that.

Ok.. If you wanna tame him, just stand on the smaller stone step/formation with the line going through that's behind where he spawns. No need for any of the other stuff posted here. No traps, nothing. Just make sure you are ready to tame before all the "vultures" show up for the kill LMAO.. He does look quite amazing!
