I used Unborn Valkyr and Zandalari Anklebiter. My third pet was Ikky but it was not needed.

Valkyr attacks: Curse of Doom followed by Unholy Ascension.
Anklebiter attacks: Black Claw followed by Hunting Party

锯齿迅猛龙 (2/1/1) can solo it, apply 伤口外露, then 猛击 with 超频 buff.

Edit: seems that It doesn't work anymore, don't know why, but 昆莱小雪人狂暴 finish it easily.

Killed him with just 1 pet easily. Stonegrinder from Talador. Buff your attack with Supercharge and hit him with Screeching Gears. Obliterated him for over 1k health. His heal is also good for healing the AoE damage he does to backline pets.

Iron Starlette with Windup, Supercharge, Windup will basically 1 shot it.

Solo'd with Mechanical Axebeak with 1/2/1 abilities.
1) Haywire
2) Haywire continues
3) Decoy
4) pass
5) Alpha Strike
6) Haywire
7) Haywire continues
8) Alpha Strike until done

Have critters as your backup pets as they are weak to Rascal's aoe damage if you want to play it ultra safe.

Keep mist up, use surge and wish as needed.
Never had to use another pet, in fact they both died from AoE damage.

虚空深渊魔 (X, 2, 1) H/H preferable.
Clean-up pet.

Strategy by Round

Netherspace Abyssal #1 > Immolate
Netherspace Abyssal #1 > Meteor Strike
Netherspace Abyssal #1 > Explode
Netherspace Abyssal #2 > Meteor Strike
Netherspace Abyssal #2 > Explode, Rascal dies.

This strategy is the quickest and most effective that I've found against most single-opponent battle pets.

Although Rascal does not have the Boss buff, Explode ignores bosses that do have it because it deals percent-based damage. For the same reason, Baa'l is also valuable for his unique ability Murder the Innocent, which also deals percent-based damage, but doesn't kill him like Explode would. Baa'l is much more time consuming to obtain, but is an excellent third pet in this line-up. And because Netherspace Abbysals and Baa'l are both magic type, they have a built-in defense against high-damage boss abilities.

For this reason, I highly recommend everyone obtain two Netherspace Abyssals that are H/H (higher health = more Explode damage).

I haven't upgraded my Ikky to rare so I tried the following strategy with what I had:
Unborn Val'kyr
Zandalari Anklerender
Stormwing (lvl 22 rare with 1301 HP)

1) Unborn Val'kyr :
Curse of Doom
Unholy Ascension then dies

2) Zandalari Anklerender:
Black Claw
Hunting Party ( he got murdered after the 2nd round of this and got a "miss" as well )

3) Stormwing: (Ikky should work too)
Call of Lightning and Rascal was lights out!

Very easy fight, only one pet needed, though I had a couple of other moths in backup.

Cerulean Moth (1, 1, 2)
Call Lightning
Cocoon Strike
Slicing Wind, until Cocoon comes up again, then Call Lightning.

If you first moth dies, just use the second one, same strat.

I used a lvl25 Alarm-o-Bot with Alert! and Interrupting Jolt and downed him no problem. Didn't use either of my other two pets but I may have just gotten lucky with my crits.

An all Moth Team works wonders. Normally one moth with a higher speed (260+ it seems) with Slicing Wind and Call Lightning can beat him. I bring two and the third pet can be whatever you want.

Just start with Call Lightning and follow it up with as many Slicing Wind's as necessary (Normally less than the cooldown on Call Lightning).

Some moths that work Skywisp Moth, Cerulean Moth, Crimsonwing Moth, etc.

Just so others know (I didn't till I figured it out afterwards).

This guy is part of 激战暗影界 but he's not part of any of the category related achieves like 水栖幻灵.

I guess they chose to make a few not part of the categories. I didn't realize it till this one.

I used Sunreaver Micro Sentry with MPD and Lil Bling as backup.

2,1,1, on Sunreaver and you can 1v1 him.

Just needed a Clockwork Gnome. Keep turrets up and metal fist between turret builds. Didn’t even need my other two mechanical pets.

Quick kill with all flyers:

Rascal (NPC#173381)

1: Stormwing (1,1,2)
2: Mechanical Axebeak (2,2,1)
3: Skywisp Moth (1,1,2)

Flock, Call, Alpha dead in 5 rounds.
RNG might cause you to have to use Axebeak. Haywire, dead in 6 rounds.

Easily defeated using 机械熊猫人幼龙 (1/1/1) and 机械斧喙鸟 (2/2/1).

Bombing Run
Breath ×2 (make sure your dragonling doesn’t die yet)
Explode (Rascal should “kill” the dragonling first, then it will come back to life to take revenge)
Haywire

Rascal was defeated on the first Haywire strike, but I had a second 机械斧喙鸟 standing by just in case.

All you need for this battle, is a single max level Iron Starlette.

Collect prizes. Three turn KO, didn't need a single other battle pet.
