My team was Ghastly Kid, Draenei Micro Defender & Arcane Eye. Needed those pets cause both my beast & mechanical pet needed a block/dodge ability.
Use Ethereal when he flies up and becomes unvulnerable. Use shield block the first round of the 2nd pet. When your 2nd pet dies, use interrupting gaze to finnish of his 2nd pet.

The absolute best strategy to defeat all pets, if you don't have a large roster or are new to pet battles, is to use an entire team of level one pets, as these pet world quests scale with your pet's level. When the pet is scaled to your level at level one, it loses most of its abilities and difficulty.

Here's a Macabre Mechanicals strategy.

I don't know if I just had horrible luck or what, but Bloog seems to crit about 50% of the time.

This worked twice in a row for me though.

Nexus Whelpling 1/2/2 (Other dragons will probably work fine here, too. The first 2 are the important ones)

There seemed to be a lot of RNG here whether Bone Crusher crits or if Chipper swaps instead of casting the poison. Thankfully Discarded Experiment is 100% to kill
Bloog and the Yu'la does the job of Life Exchange + Celestial Blessing. Then just need to finish off Bone Crusher while you have the damage reduction. Chipper's abilities are weak, but remember he most likely casts Fly on the 2nd turn.

This one sucks. Bone Crusher is friggin ridiculous. How is he not epic with all those stats?

The amount of crits that occur is also a bit obscene. Basically if you get crit or crit Bloog the strat will fail.

This is a terrible strategy and I completely cheesed it with RNG after many attempts but I'm going to put it here in case it helps someone else find a better one.

Another strat I was trying that I couldn't quite get to work used Felclaw Marsuul 2/2/1 instead of Floofa. Just do the same strat above but do the following from round 12 -

13.Diseased Bite - RNG point. You basically have a 50/50 chance of killing him. If Bloog dies in this round, reset.

17.Chipper uses Wind Buffet to switch Marsuul back in.

Note before starting: I tried my very best to not include store bought pets, TCG pets, pets that you have to get a specific breed, and very hard to get pets. For a few fights I did have to use pets with a specific breed because I was spending hours trying to perfect a strat and it just wasn't working without a certain breed. Also, a lot of the Shadowlands fights don't have rigid movesets like previous expansions did. For a lot of these new fights, you have to be a bit more flexible. Use these strats as a guideline :) Please feel free to send me a message in-game at Gabrielle-Whisperwind. I do not usually check the comments because I have *literally* thousands of posts and I will most definitely miss a question, or any suggestions on tweaking a strat.

Addons I definitely recommend:
Battle Pet BreedID - helps you determine which breed your pet is!
Rematch - changes the Pet Journal UI and adds SO much for you for sorting, adds a leveling pet queue, etc. There's seriously a lot. My favorite is that it lets you save teams!
PetTracker - Shows you the cooldowns of the enemy team. VERY IMPORTANT. Also shows you trainers on your map. For some reason not all of them are listed in the basic WoW UI.

This trainer just screams RNG because of Mudslide's extra crit damage :/ Making strats for this trainer is a nightmare lol.

Due to first pet's burrow damage being high or low you might die or you might have to use absorb 2 times more instead of Plague blood. Always check the opponent's hp & your skill's damage at first pet. Ruby Dropplet must use bubble for bone crusher so when you stun bone crusher the opponent can change it to chipper.

Larva: Start with bite, shield on Bloog bury, then plagued. Finish with bite. Plague Bone Crusher, larva dies.
Direwing: murder, blast til Crusher dies. murder Chipper if direwing is still alive. Chipper may wind buffet Direwing.
Chrominius: Arcane explosion (likely misses as Chipper usually casts lift-off). Blessing, explosion until Chipper is low enought to take out with Surge, using blessing on CD. If Chrominus gets buffeted to bring back Direwing, murder. Then when Direwing dies, you can one-shot Chipper with surge, being careful not to cast it when lift-off is active.

Can be a bit RNG, but over 90% with practice.

I used level 1 pets and did it quite simply with only 2 pets and the cool thing was, the two pets died so no exp was given, ready for the next alt to use the same team...

Lil' K.T. and Eye of Corruption made quick work of all three of them. The Eye died to the poison right as the battle ended so works really well.

Tossing in my Level 1 pet setup along with suggested pets in case you may not have these specific ones. I know there are other abilities that work just as well, if not better than these below but it's what worked for me. Hope it works for you!

Swap to the Absorb Snail. Dive right away to avoid Mudslide. Then Absorb. When Bloog starts burrow, use shell shield. Then spam Absorb
The snail should just barely beat Bloog, and if timed right, apocalypse lands on the snail and Bone.
If the beetle is still alive bring them in since the flier will force them in anyway. With the other Snail, Dive to avoid lift-off, otherwise Ooze Touch (shell shield is not worth it).

I was missing pets and couldn't make some of the strategies here work for me so I'm listing what I was able to finally use to beat this guy.

1. Sister of Temptation
you can mix/match this but dropping agony first, healing during his burrow, then curse and make sure you let it tick up to the higher value on round two. Usually could heal a second time. I usually make it to the second pet and can drop a curse on it. Note: If you curse at the start I would usually die to the first pet. Having Agony on first stacks up more damage in the long run.

2. Trigger
Plating, Screeching gears (although I never got a stun, might be bad if the other pet swaps in from a stun), then rocket to death. Usually lives into last pet to get a rocket off.

3. Arcane Eye
Drain power, mana surge, focused beams. The other pet usually starts dropping poison at this point so my pet survise and could even get off another mana surge.

It's a close fight and longer than I'd like but this does work reliably for me.

Deadly Dragonkin worked for me with:

Started with Scorched Earth then Lift-off (to avoid the burrow) and breath
Thunderscale Whelpling
Call lightning and Zap (it's second ability i did not use)
Nether Faerie Dragon

I had a hard time with this one, as I didn't have all the pets of the combos listed here.

So, I just went into my log and chose lvl 1s that had abilities "strong vs" humanoid (1st slot), beast (2nd slot) and flying (3rd slot)

I ended up using

Each of them defeated their matched enemy, no problems.

Critter strategy (Creepy Critters):

DISCLAIMER: some amount of RNG involved, could take multiple attempts.

Edit: Apocalypse will miss if the pet who casted it dies. The idea behind this strategy is to Apocalypse early on, take 13 turns to defeat Bloog, and to allow Apocalypse to kill Bonecrusher.

This was based on Naphomci's idea, and modified to work.

Twilight beetle (1/2/2), speed has to be >236 and it needs at least 1.3k HP
Snail with Absorb, Shell Shield, and Dive, such as Shimmershell Snail (mine is B/B)
Snail with Ooze Touch and Dive such as Silkbead Snail.

Bloog:

Start with Twilight Beetle, use Scratch -> Apocalypse -> Scratch. If Twilight Beetle does not survive this combo, reset. (Enemy's Burrow has a big damage range).

Swap in your Absorb Snail, then use Dive -> Absorb -> Shell Shield -> Absorb until shield falls off -> Shell Shield again (this should coincide with Bloog burrowing) -> Dive. If this combo goes correctly, you'll kill Bloog with the Dive. If somehow Bloog isn't dead, he should die with another Absorb.

Bonecrusher:

There should be two (or one if Bloog didn't die on the Dive) turns left for the meteor. Pass with your snail, then bring in your Beetle and use Survival. Bonecrusher should die to the Meteor.

Chipper:

If your Beetle is still alive it will die (or be swapped out) in the first turn. Bring in your second snail, use Dive to avoid Flyoff, then spam Ooze Touch for the win.

So 水栖幻灵 is possible with Shadowback crawler (Call Darkness, Shadow slash, Headbutt), Hydraling (Tail Slap, Call lightning, whirlpool) and Slimy Fangtooth (Ooze touch, Sewage eruption, expunge). But this took like 40-50 attempts, I don't recommend this.

I did this with a level 1 team.

1. Crusher
2. Corrupted Nest Guardian
3. Azure Windseeker

I just mash the 1 ability of each of the 2 first pets, and in the end I never had to bring out pet number 3. All 3 pets went down without a hitch.

I have an alternate strat for Deathly dragonkin similar to the other strat but uses an ageless bronze drake 2,1,2 instead of discarded experiement and substitutes other 2 pets with similar pets a stormborne whelpling 1,1,1 and an emerald whelpling 2,2,2.

The first strat works well but if you dont have the pets in that strat these work. The emerald and dream whelpling can be interachangable as we ll as stormborne with the thunderscale.

I beat this trainer with:

Inland Croaker (2/1/1)
Hydraling (2/1/x)
Hermit Crab (2/2/1)

I dunno much about pet breeds so I can't comment on them. Your mileage may vary from mine.

Inland Croaker: Call Blizzard, Ice Tomb, Ice lance, Ice Lance, Call Blizzard, Ice Lance (Croaker dies)
Hydraling: Tail Slap, Call Lightning. Tail Slap (Hydraling dies)
Hermit Crab: Dive, Fish Slap, Bubble, Fish Slap, Dive, Fish Slap until opponent dies.

I think I got the timing on Hermit Crab down. The idea is that you go underwater anytime your opponent flies high. The right timing easily wins this pairing.

All Beast Team

This is very RNG, you need a headbutt and a critical strike now and then, and Mudslide to go away during the Bone Crusher fight, so god speed. It took awhile, although this combo worked. Key is you want howl on Bone crusher with an immediate death for Fel Pup, and the headbutt needs a stun to work.

Fel Pup (Diseased Bite, Crouch, Howl)
Thunder Lizard Runt (Zap, Headbutt, x)
Ash'ana (Claw, Rake, Moonfire)

For the first fight, it depends on how fast your Fel Pup is relative to Bloog and sometimes it changes

1. Diseased Bite (can sometimes get in 2 hits before Bloog burrows, but I wouldn't count on it)
2. Crouch (goal is to crouch when Bloog burrows)
3. Diseased Bite
4. Diseased Bite and Bloog should be dead, Bone Crusher comes in
5. Howl and Fel Pup should die (if he isn't dead, won't work), Thunder Lizard Runt comes in
6. Headbutt (must get a stun - if not, you'll probably need to start over)
7. Zap
8. Zap
9. Zap and Thunder Lizard Runt dies, Ash'ana comes in
10. Claw to kill off Bone Crusher
11. Moonfire against Chipper
12. Pass for lift-off
13. Claw (this part is tough...you want to use Rake before a solid hit and claw otherwise to get to Moonfire on CD)
14. Claw
15. Rake
16. Moonfire and Chipper dies

I did this with:

Anubisath Idol (1,1,1)
Lil' Bling (2,2,1)
Iron Starlette (1,1,1)

Anub: Sandstorm, pass, Deflection, Crush until Sandstorm is available again (his pet should die), Deflection, Crush until anub dies
Lil' Bling: Extra Plating, Make it Rain, Inflation, Inflation (this may be a bit RNG) his pet dies, lil'bling dies after
Iron Starlette: Wind-up, super charge, wind-up, powerball powerball his pet dies

This can be achieved with all level one pets. First up would be Bloog which is humanoid with a critter attack. Use a humanoid pet with an undead lvl1 ability if you have it - I used Sister of Temptation. Next up will be Bonecrusher which is a beast with a beast ability. Use a flying pet for this guy. Lastly is Chipper which is flying with flying ability - a dragonkin pet will go best against this guy. Good luck!

Iron Starlette(Wind-Up + Supercharge)

Blighthawk (1,2,1)
Blighted Squirrel (2,2,2)
Fragment of Anger (1,2,1)

1. Infected Claw
2. Lift Off
3. If Bloog has less than 975hp, then Ghostly Bite, otherwise Infected Claw into Ghostly Bite to finish Bloog.
4. Pass
5. Infected Claw
6. Bring in Blighted Squirrel and Crouch
7. Woodchipper
8,9,10. Stampede
11. Woodchipper
12. Bring in Fragment of Anger and Spiritfire Bolt to finish Bonecrusher
13. Soulrush - if Chipper is stunned, Spiritfire Bolt, otherwise go to 14.
14. Enrage during lift off
15. Spritfire bolt until you smell Napalm/Victory.

I beat this combo with:

Antoran Bile-Larva
Zandalari Kneebiter <-- Another Zandalari beast may be substituted; you're looking for as high of attack as possible (mine had 341)
Spiketail Beaver

I dunno much about pet breeds, but all pets were rare. RNG from crits may require you retry this a few times, but it works rather well. Matter of fact, first time I did this I didn't even realize the beaver was only level 23. He's perfectly able to counter the final pet.

Antoran Bile-Larva: Diseased Bite until Bloog dies. Acidic Goo. Any attack (dies)
Zandalari Kneebiter: Black Claw. Hunting Party (Bone Crusher dies). Any attack (dies).
Spiketail Beaver: Beaver Dam. Chew. Tail Slap (x3 I think). Repeat until Chipper dies.
