You recruit Adventure Combatant 泰赞 from 守护者暮花 in Heart of the Forest.
To unlock 泰赞 you need Night Fae 名望 lvl 12.

You get 名望 by doing your Covenant Campaign and by doing two weekly quests:

To know what is your renown lvl check the Sanctum Upgrades NPC in your Covenant Hall > 建筑师扎伊哈德.

This is a priority for leveling up companions, his ability Onslaught hits like a truck. Mine is at lvl 36 and it hits the entire melee row for 322 damage. For context, Chalkyth ability Icespore Spear, which also hits the entire melee row but leaves a dot instead of doing its damage upfront, does 165 damange total at the same level with 1 turn longer cd.
