I agree. In the next patch, Blizzard should put every achievement on the AH bridge in Ironforge. That way you can log in and get them done in five minutes. It won't require any thought or effort and you certainly won't have to feel like you achieved anything.

on your way, what ever you do, do NOT drop down the cliff. if you are a post-classic WoW player then it wouldn't hurt to know the only way back onto land is to go all the way back to The Ruins of Eldarath. Sigh..... its a long swim

Thank you Sagcat. A thousand blessings on your head. I was down on the beach level with huge mountains all around. I even tried swimming around to the elder in Azshara but no luck. I had no idea there were bridges connecting the high land with the area he is in, and they are not shown at all on any map of the area. Thank you!

I used my Hook of the Master Angler and i've swum from Durotar to the goblin hut in Azshara, mounted up and went from there, when going back i took the same route, went probably faster than taking the flight path, it's a really short swim.

People with waterwalking elixers or waterwalking buffs will also be a lot faster than when using the flight path

Wow. As if Azshara couldn't get any worse than it is...this sucker has to be in the most hard to reach spot in the zone.

...whose legs are those? I would assume they used to be the legs to a statue of Azshara, queen of the naga, in her Night Elf form before being turned into a naga (seeing as the zone is named after her and there are naga around the ruins of the statue)

ok im going to QQ a lil here lol but i mean come on ppl the guy is at 64,79 not where the dot on the map above shows him to be and the post by saqcat was rated +42 and the info was BS saqcat says the guy is at 72,85 so plz pay atetion to what u do and dont post coords of where your curser happins to be atm u look plz! post where the guy is and learn to use the coords addon or just delete it cuz its useless if u cant even under stand how it works:)

How to create a route for the Kalimdor Elders in Carbonite.

Click on the torch icon (Favorites) in your carbonite minimap

This brings up the notes window.

Click on the word Root on the left hand side.
Right click on the word Root.
Click on Add Folder
Name it Lunar Festival
Press Enter or click on Accept to create the new folder
Click on the new folder then right click on the new folder you just created.
Click on Add Favorite
Name this one Kalimdor Elders then press enter or click on accept.
Click on the Record button in the upper left corner of the Favorites window.
Make sure that it is red.

Enter the following lines into your chat window: (you will have to copy and paste these one at a time)

You can now Right click the Targets and rename them if you would like.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE STOPPED RECORDING!

Now you can click on the first one and Carbonite will automatically create a route for you to follow. If you are unsatisfied with the route, right click on your carbonite mini map window and chose Route then Current Goto Targets. This will redo the path from where you are currently.

This is not accurate. He is actually between the legs (on the ground) of the monuments itself, not where this map shows it on the islands.

I actually found him by the Ravencrest Monument at the feet of the remains of a big statue. Not quite at the shore line. Hope this helps.

finding this guy was a damn joke with all the bad coordinates and photos with dots out in the middle of the ocean... but you know what... I found this guy...
Fly to Ravencrest Monument and look between the statue of the big broken legs... and BAM! there is Skygleam.

As of 5.4.2.17688, the new location is at 64.74,79.33 (Ravencrest Monument), right between the legs! Do not get fooled by the 2014 Lunar Festival guide, like I did, lol.

This is one of the most difficult to find Elders as he is NOT where the map places him, but in the SOUTH of the map. The Ravencrest Monument is the Azshara map. The NPC is indeed still between the legs of the broken statue high up and easily visible from anywhere if u look up the cliffs.

You must spin around in circles and look up for a gigantic pair of broken legs towering above you if you are at ground level.

I post this only because, at this date, many players, especiallty alliance do not explore Azshara. My horde DK did not have it explored either.

I am not sure why this map is showing two locations but he's not at the northern one. Like others have said already he is standing between two giant legs of a broken statue in the Ravencrest Monument area.
