This is probably the easiest of the Royals. Its pretty straight forward fight have the tank hold agro and dps kill him. He does do an AOE blast wave attack every 30-40 seconds. The attack does about 1k-1.5k damage. He can easily be done with 20 people in descent gear. I have seen his epic ring drop 5 times out of 13 summons, so its a very high drop rate.

I got trashed as a solo 70 hunter. Got him to about 40% before he killed my pet, then it was all over.

Can you kite this guy to the Cenarion Hold and still get loot if the guards kill him?

The health of 410k which wowhead states is certainly not true anymore. I soloed it as a lvl 70 firemage withouth too much trouble. Dropped the epic ring.

soloed as lv 70 rogue with the gear she hit 70 with. Took longer than most elites, but wasn't doing much damage. Fully stunnable, so I kept him stunlocked most of the time, and even healed when I needed to during combat.

About 900-1100 melee damage on cloth (70 destro lock) and his blast wave with mark of flames up (magic effect but forgot to equip a spellstone) nearly hit for 2k but with the post 2.3 health nerf he goes too fast for either to kill you. Looted like 17g, some crappy blues bop bracers, the usual selection fire-related trade skill mats and of course the scepter.

Summoned him tonight, he had in the region of 39k hitpoints. Piece of cake to solo as a Retribution Paladin.

This NPC is 1 of 4 that may be summoned at a Greater Wind Stone in Silithus by players wearing a full Twilight Trappings set (cowl, mantle and robe), a Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station and a Twilight Cultist Ring of Lordship.

Rather than relying on chance to get the NPC you want, you can control which of the 4 is summoned by creating the appropriate Scepter of Beckoning. This requires the necessary Scroll: Create Sceptre of Beckoning, which can randomly be found within Decoded True Believer Clippings.

Notes

Each of the eastern Twilight camps has a Greater Wind Stone.
The Twilight Trappings set drops randomly from any Twilight Cultist in Silithus.
The Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station is a quest reward (repeatable).
The Twilight Cultist Ring of Lordship is a quest reward (repeatable). It also has a very small chance to drop from the rare mob Twilight Lord Everun who spawns randomly at any of the eastern Twilight camps.
The Decoded True Believer Clippings is a quest reward, mailed to you approximately 6 hours after you complete the True Believers (repeatable) quest.
