Obviously (if you've studied Greek Mythology) this is taken from the god Kronos (or Cronos) which is the god of time and is often refered as "the old one" is also why there is "father time" being so old.

definately or atleast be like 1 of the dragons in the caverns of time but theres no one in the lore of wow so he shouldnt be in 1 of the instances

Greek mythology aside, the first thing this guy reminded me of was Chronos from Chrono Trigger, the popular RPG from the SNES. The game begins at a fair (the millennial fair to be exact.)

Just being nostalgic I suppose, because it's obviously not an inferred connection.

i just spoke with him and he asked me who i was.. if his title is <he who never forgets> he should be able to remember me speaking to him last time the faire was there

Today while walking around Darkmoon Island, I targeted him because he had a quest. I couldn't believe he said something he SHOULDN'T say..........
