Environeer Bert and
克丽萨
are the first 2 NPC pet battles that use a new scaling technology. Based on the highest pet level in your team enemy pet levels and stats scale down to the same level and they only use abilities that are available at that level (slot#1 at level 1, slot#2 at level 2, slot#3 at level 4). For this fight this means with only level 1 pets in your team you face Corporal Hammer with only
自爆
, guess what he does? ;-)
Corporal Hammer will force-swap your pets with his
锤子
. Maybe you've seen a similar effect when fighting the

M-37's

makes this fight quite hard, he's superfast and putting down up to 9x
火焰炸弹
without any cooldown. In
PTR Build 7.3.0.24539
this DoT has been fixed to deal less damage and changed to be mechanical but they also changed the duration, now each one is ticking for up to 9 rounds! And these bombs are placed on the battle field and won't disappear with a pet swap on your side and can not be removed by
清扫
or something similar.

This fight goes well using three elemental pets all with Immolate and Conflagrate (and a third elemental-damage dealing ability, such as Burn.)
Keep Immolate up all the time, use Conflagrate whenever it is available, and use the third ability if the target is already Burning and Conflagrate is on cooldown.

Defeated with two pets:
Dark Phoeni Hatchling 1/2/1
Anubisat Idol 1/1/2
any pet (used backup Fel Flame 1/1/1)
In case you have issues:
Immolate - you get swaped
Rupture - you get swaped
Conflag - you get swaped
Sandstorm - Corporal Hammer dies
Now just keep the Sandstorm up and Rupture>Crush till you die
finish the Clamp with your Phoenix
If you would have any issues, let me know.

The only pet I have that's 25 and has Conflagerate is Fel Flame, so I couldn't really employ the strategy of burn and conflag..Instead, I settled on something that's a little rough right now, but as the days go by, I should be able to refine it. Currently stands as a two pet battle.
I decided, instead of focusing on single target damage, to go with a Sunlight team.
For my pets,
Terrible Turnip (2, 1, 1)
Broot (1, 2, 2)
Basic order,
use Sunlight on cooldown,
use Leech Seed on cooldown,
use Photosynthesis if it has run out.
Fill with first ability.

Here's a guide to using two pets to help level a third pet. There are a few caveats:
This strategy requires precise timing. A crit at the wrong time by either your team or the opposing team would result in this failing.
The pets for this strategy may be difficult if not impossible to acquire
迷你恨光
can be challenging to acquire if you don't have it, as it is only available on the AH at present.
熔火幼犬
is the WoW 10th Anniversary pet. If you didn't get it then, there is no way to obtain it now.
The low level pet has to be level 18+ (no real lowbies for this one!) with at least 1000 HP. The pets most likely to work are Elemental pets, but other pets with a dodge, immunity, or large heal could work too. Beast pets tend to be poor choices as they take extra damage.
Here is the setup you want to run:
Slot 1 -
熔火幼犬
(2/2/1) :
烈焰喷射
|
灸灼
|
烈焰之犬
Slot 2 -
迷你恨光
(2/1/1) :

Strategy
As mentioned above, this strategy requires very specific timing. If you notice your team or their team hitting with crits, be aware this may make the strategy not work out. In addition, your "carry" pet should be able to survive a few rounds, and have some abilities to finish off
夹钳
once your other pets are dead.
Turn-by-turn guide
Round 1:
熔火幼犬
should be your first pet. Start with
烈焰喷射
;
重锤下士
will use
锤子
and switch in
迷你恨光
.
Round 2: With
Hatespark
, use
焚烧
.
重锤下士
will use
锤子
and switch back to
熔火幼犬
.
Round 3-5: With
熔火幼犬
, use
烈焰之犬
, which will last 3 rounds.
Round 6: After
烈焰之犬
is done, use
灸灼
to heal up.
重锤下士
will use
锤子
and switch back to
迷你恨光
.
Round 7: With
Hatespark
active again, use
烈焰喷射
. This should kill
重锤下士
.
Round 8: Once
M-37
comes out, use
焚烧
.
Round 9: Use
深度烧伤
.
Round 10: Use
烈焰喷射
.
M-37
should die here.
夹钳
will come out.
Round 11: It doesn't matter what you use here -
夹钳
will kill your
迷你恨光
. Switch back to
熔火幼犬
once this happens.
Round 12: With
熔火幼犬
,
灸灼
to heal.
Round 13-14: Use
烈焰喷射
.
Round 15: Use
烈焰之犬
.
熔火幼犬
will likely die here, but that is ok since
烈焰之犬
continues regardless.
If
熔火幼犬
dies before using
烈焰之犬
in Round 15, you may have to restart (depending on how effective your carry pet is at finishing
夹钳
off).
Round 16 onwards: Your "carry" pet should be able to finish off
夹钳
here. Elemental school attacks are great, as are passive damage abilities and DoTs. Use immunities and/or strong heals if available.

If you just want to win then this set up works.
1)
Singing Sunflower
:
Lash
,
Photosynthesis
,
Sunlight
2)
Terrible Turnip
:
Tidal Wave
,
Leech Seed
,
Sunlight
3)
Anubisath Idol
:
Crush
,
Sandstorm
,
Rupture
Sunlight is your first move with your Sunflower and then Turnip, then use them off cooldown. Use Photosynthesis and Leech-Seed as your next move in their rotation. Use Lash and Tidal Wave as fillers. You want to keep these two alive as much as possible to use their Sunlight ability.
Using these two pets alone will defeat Corporeal Hammer, and will have taken huge chunks of HP from Berts remaining two pets.
Use your Anubisath Idol to finish off his third pet. Use Sandstorm first, Rupture second, and then use Crush to end him.

This is a pretty wicked trio. I wanted to test the new "scaling" feature for battles with pet tamers... so I put on three level 1 pets. This has the advantage of taking away Corporal Hammer's swap hammer. I used:
2 Pandaren Earth Spirits and
1 Sunborne Val'kyr
Cpl Hammer will explode after being hit once taking your first pet to half life.
Then M-37 will start to stack fire bombs. BUT the two Earth Spirits get ahead in the count and last through to Clamp at about half life.
Fun new content!

This is a tough fight to figure out. Or, it was for me. I tried lots of combinations of different elementals but could not find a team that won consistently.
I literally battled all day yesterday with everything from level 1 teams, mid range teams and level 25 teams. Finally a level 25 team won for me (twice in a row now).
Dark Phoenix Hatchling
in slot 1 and
Fel Flame
in slots 2 & 3
I started off with Dark Phoenix Hatchling and used dark flame, pet gets swapped.
Fel flame does Immolate, pet gets swapped
Hatchling does Conflagrate gets swapped
Fel flame does Conflagrate and Corporal Hammer dies/revives and dies again.
Fel flame 1 only has a little life left so I used immolate, conflagrate, burn until dead.
I had to go to last fel flame to finish off M37.
on Clamp just keep up immolate, conflagrate when its up and burn a couple times and he dies...Then hope you don't have too many fire bomb dots that tick away your life lol
UPDATE: Not sure why the down votes...but this team works every time for me.

I had no success trying to do this with level 25 pets and KerynTB's strategy: when it wasn't
重锤下士
's swapping interrupting whatever heavy hitter I had, it was
M-37
putting up nine firebombs, and eating through everything else.
With much trial and error I then stumbled on a level 1 combination that works. The main attractiveness of a level 1 team is, as mentioned above, that the first pet blows itself up, and that
夹钳
's only ability has a three-turn cd.
First slot:
迷你岩浆暴怒者
, he's a P/P breed whose
烈焰喷射
ticks away on the M37
Second slot:
燃烬爬行者
, also P/P and dies to Clamp when the latter has about 50% hp left
Third slot: whatever elemental I have at level 1 with an elemental-type attack. So far, this has gotten me ten victories, and, remarkably enough, three
D1-BB-L3R型
, two of which I've sold.
Edit: Hu, downrated, without comment? Well, well...ran out of level 1 elementals with elemental attack but wanted to keep the mitigation, still works, even without the dmg boost.

For this little guy I use:(Level 25 strat)
Electrified Razortooth
2,1,2.
Pandaren Earth Spirit
1,1,1.
Soul of the Forge
2,2,2.
Starting with Electrified Razortooth, I use Paralyzing Shock so his pet cannot swap,
he then pulls in my Pandaren Earth Spirit, I use Crystal Prison which stuns and buys me a few
rounds of him not swapping me between my pets. Maybe if I get lucky, Rupture stuns as well.
For his next pet M-37, I just use whichever pet was out when Corporal Hammer died. Really not mattering
which of the two.
For Clamp I use whichever one of those 2^ pets are still alive before bringing in Soul of the Forge
then I use Stoneskin to help with the debuff, about 2 Sulfuras Smashes then I heal back up.

Ashstone Core - 2 1 1
Anubisath Idol - 1 1 2
Pandaren Fire Spirit - 1 1 2
Use Crystal Prison. Hammer is stunned and does not attack.
Use Crystal Overload. Bert swaps Hammer for M-37.
Burn until M-37 is dead. This should take 4 rounds at most, limiting the number of active firebombs.
Bert brings back Hammer, use Burn. Depending on the life your Ashstone Core has left, you may have to modify your strategy some, but either way Hammer will force your Anubisath Idol to the front line.
Use Sandstorm, rendering firebomb damage superficial.
If your Ashstone Core is still alive, use Burn. This turn will likely kill it. If your Core is dead, have your PFS cast Immolate.
Back to the Idol, use Rupture.
If Rupture stuns Hammer, Bert will swap in Clamp, so you'll have to play it by ear. By this point the firebombs should be dried up.
Have your PFS damage Clamp down below 500 while burning from Immolate, then use Conflagrate. The first hit should kill it, then it resurrects, then your second hit kills it for good.
If Hammer is still alive, one or two hits should end the fight.

Didn't have either a Searing Scorchling or a Dark Phoenix Hatchling. Substitute Scorchling with 1/2/1 Ominous Flame, and Phoenix with 2/2/1 Crazy Carrot. I put the Fel Flame in the first spot, the Ominous Flame second, and Crazy Carrot third.
Started by immolating Hammer, then conflagrated with Ominous Flame as it got switched in, then conflagrated with Fel Flame, and then dropped Scorched Earth to ensure the enemy would always be ablaze (whole team is elementals, so it does nothing to me).
Once M-37 came in, I conflagrated, immolate/scorched earth, or burned as necessary until my pet died. As soon as it was dead, I sent in the Carrot. Ironbark, then blistering cold, and then kept using Ironbark until M-37 was fully dead.
Clamp comes in. Started by using Aged Yolk to remove the fire debuffs, then Ironbark, and then blistering cold, after which I continued to use Ironbark until Clamp was dead. Crazy carrot survived with some 200 HP left, though I did get a couple of crits which may have influenced my win chance.
All in all, I had no real strategy planned and succeeded with this set up on first try. Do give it a try if you don't have above mentioned pets but have these two.

, which I modified to allow a relatively low level carry pet.
Warning: this takes
35
rounds to complete, but is foolproof and allows a lowbie carry pet for leveling.
Team
Singing Sunflower (1,1,2)
Blossoming Ancient (2,2,2)
Carry Pet (must be able to survive a Call Lightning hit)
Strategy
The biggest pain for bringing a carry pet along is the Firebomb DoT from M-37. So, the idea behind this strategy is to eliminate the DoT altogether. Because Corporal Hammer does the forced swap, Singing Sunflower and Blossoming Ancient will be swapped every round. Starting with Singing Sunflower, your rotation will be this:
Sunlight (force swap to Blossoming Ancient)
Sunlight (force swap to Singing Sunflower)
Photosynthesis (force swap to Blossoming Ancient)
Photosynthesis (force swap to Singing Sunflower)
Pass (force swap to Blossoming Ancient)
Pass (force swap to Singing Sunflower)
You'll be out-healing the damage from Corporal Hammer, so you can keep it up indefinitely. Sunlight will damage the backline pets, as well as Corporal Hammer. Keep doing the rotation until M-37 is completely dead, so after he dies following his Fail Safe.
Once M-37 is dead and done, Corporal Hammer will be one or two hits from also dying completely. Use Lash or Ironbark, depending on your active pet, to finish off Corporal Hammer.
Dibbler will come in, but be one or two hits from death. Swap in your carry pet and take the hit from Call Lightning. Now you can either use your carry pet to take out Dibbler or swap back to Singing Sunflower or Blossoming Ancient (both of which should have plenty of health) to administer the coup de grace to Dibbler. The carry pet should get a nice chunk of XP for your efforts.

Work with what you have!
terrible turnip 2/1/1
water waveling 2/1/1
lava crab 1/1/1
The first two pets need to be faster than Corporal Hammer in order to get any damage in on him. I started with sunlight, then geyser, then leech seed, then frost nova . . . then use first slot until one of your other spells comes off cool-down.
Lava crab's Shell Shield was the only way I could find to survive all the firebombs on the field by the end of the battle.
This team worked for me twice in a row, but then Dibbler dropped for me, and I"m done!

This is a reliable two pet strategy. It takes a bit of time, typically just over 20 rounds, but I've never seen it fail. Requirements on the carry are pretty tall, but that's because it's going to have to eat a lot of backline damage.
Blazehound
(2,1,x)
Lava Crab
(x,2,2) This can be done with other breeds but it's a
LOT
easier with B/B.
Carry pet. Should be over 900 points, 600 if it's Elemental, don't use a Beast.
B/B
Molten Hatchling
(x,2,1) is a drop in replacement for the Lava Crab, and a P/S hatchling or a
Pandaren Fire Spirit
can also be used. In testing I've not seen a problem with the Fire Spirit, but I have seen its health fall lower. I suspect the P/S Hatchling will see this as well.
Rematch team:

Round 1:

Round 2: Swap to your Lava Crab
Round 3:
Magma Wave
Round 4:
Cauterize
Round 5+ Cauterize on cooldown, fill with Magma wave.
Continue this rotation until you've cast Magma Wave just once after
Clamp
has done his Mechanical rez.
However you need to watch your health, and either delay or avoid Cauterize, to allow your health to ramp down a bit as his health falls. Ideally you should be 400 to 500 to 600 HP at this point. The lower the better, but watch you don't die. Worst case, Clamp can hit you for 392 points if either of his big attacks crit.
At this point, pass until you die. After this:
Round 1: Swap in carry
Round 2: Swap in Blazehound
Round 3+:
Obsidian Bite
your way to victory.
This is the best I've been able to come up with for a tdScript. If you can improve the management of Cauterize, please do so and post back here.

Tried a few times with level 25 pets but I was never able to attack because Corporal Hammer would keep using Hammer and switch my pets out while also doing damage. I managed to kill him with a speed based line-up but then the second pet, M-37, would put down Firebomb and it eventually stacked to 9 applications which did a ton of damage every round.
I ended up beating Environeer Bert with a line-up of 3 Sinister Squashlings by just spamming Burn. It worked well and I never had to use my last pet. At level one Corporal Hammer only has one move, Explode, which instantly kills him but does about 40% damage to your first pet. This made it 3v2 right off the bat.

Easy fight
Use Blossoming ancient and Broot
Both with Ironbark, Photosythesis and Sunlight
Spam Sunlight on cooldown, photosynthesis so you out heal his hits with sunlight up and Ironbark
By the time the Corporal Hammer is down the other two pets are very low
Now just spam Ironbark, that reduces the DoT to be very low and usually the second pet lasts three rounds
If you want you can bring a levelling pet in towards the end on the last pet when it's health is low
Got about 4k xp on a lvl 16 pet with the safari hat.

To get there your first time, there is a
Horde goblin TELEPORTER
:
诺莫瑞根传送器
to this pet battle in the Grom'gol base, Northern Stranglethorn. It's next to the zep tower. You don't need to die to guards or create a lvl 1 gnome to get to this fight.
You do have to do the janky trick to teleport there using premades though, where you create premade group (puts you in a party), use the teleporter in Grom'gol, then leave party which kicks you out of the instance in 60 seconds, putting you just outside the entrance. The battle is just outside around the corner.
After that you can be teleported by talking to

I used 3 x level 1 Phoenix Hatchling and just spammed 1. It exactly took two of them and the third one leveled up to 5. It might be useful to grind a third pet to some extent, maybe?

I defeated him! Since this scales to your highest level pet, I used 3 level 1 pets and basically spammed their 1. I used Blossoming Ancient, Venus, and Singing Sunflower. I swapped out Blossoming Ancient for it's 1 through the fight because his 1 is also a dot poison. After failing multiple attempts with various level 25 combos... this works. :)

Well I just did this with 3 level 1 elementals. It took all the spit and fire out of them and it was a pretty easy win with the last pet getting enough XP to be level 5. Any pet with "Burn" will do it.

Yes, Corporal Hammer’s here, smoke blowing in the breeze
And the day needs my combat expertise
A pet’s gotta do what a pet’s gotta do
Seems destiny ends with me beating you
The only doom that’s looming is that of your battle pets
So I’ll give you a sec to catch your breath

Gilnean Raven with Nevermore also trivializes this battle.

Won with 2 pets: Sinister Squashling - burn, stun seed, leech seed. Harbinger of Flame - burn, immolate, conflagrate. Had Giggling Flame for backup.

This is the kind of content, when you wish whoever made this, sould not get to eat each day till he done this with battle.

I didn't have some of the exotic pets that most of the previous comments suggested so I improvised with this lineup:
snaplasher solarbeam, leech seed, stun seed
singing sunflower sunbeam, photosynthesis, sunlight
tiny snowman snowball, call blizzard, howling blast
The sunflower was clearly the star using sunlight and photosynthesis, however snaplasher held its own with the leech seed going. It was close but we succeeded.

If you use level 4 elementals with big elemental attacks against him, your team will get to use all 3 of their abilities. His team will still scale to level 4 but will only have access to the first two of their abilities. I tried a dozen of the other suggestions here but this was the only thing that worked for me. All of my team survived and all dinged 5. And as a bonus, on my first win I got
Dibbler!
Feeling lucky.

This is a fairly straightforward lvl25 fight if you have a Crazy Carrot and some elemental pets with high damage moves.
NOTE: There are plenty of strategies to use that differ from the one I have set below. Scorched Earth and healing moves work great. They key with this fight is to remove or nullify the burn stacks from MK-37. This can be done with moves like Aged Yolk or Ironbark/Shellshield.
NOTE: I have also found that moves where you lob a ball or something that lands a few goes later tend to be wasted as you can damage Bert's pets quickly enough that they die before these land. So stick to other moves is my recommendation.
NOTE: The other key is to have two pets faster than Corporal Hammer, I don't have the exact speed but my Snowman and Frostling both have 276 speed so that or higher will be fine.
My typical pet line-up:
1st: Tiny Snowman 1,1,1
2nd: Frigid Frostling 1,2,2
3rd: Crazy Carrot 2,2,1
NOTE: You can swap all of these pets who have the moves, Aged Yolk, Iron Bark and Blizzard/Howling Blast that provides the chill effect.
The fight starts with Corporal Hammer, basically he just swaps your one and two pets constantly, start with Blizzard then use your bigger moves and he dies pretty quickly.
MK-37 comes in next, this is the nuisance one as he puts a burn buff on you that stacks. Whatever pet you have active keep using until it dies. Then bring in your Crazy Carrot, I have found that MK-37 usually has one hit before death so I use Bark to kill him then aged yolk to remove the de-buff.
With Clamp I use Blistering Cold then Ironbark on repeat. The chilled effect does great stacking damage and your Carrot takes little damage thanks to Ironbark's buff. Clamp usually dies quickly without the need for the third pet.
Hope this helps! :)

Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (1,2,2)
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (1,2,2)
Use Deflection whenever it's up, followed by Sandstorm whenever it's up, meanwhile use Crush.
With the dragonlings, use Decoy whenever it's up, followed by Thunderbolt whenever it's up, meanwhile Breath.

I used a Xu-Fu strat (Just google "xufu strat environeer bert" or whomever...) All rare pets.
Enchanted Pen
*,*,2 Any Breed. Made from Enchanting, usually around 15 to 30K in AH, that I have seen. Legion Enchanting so you may be able to get mats and ask a guild member to do it. Good pet to have overall against aquatics.
Twilight Clutch-Sister
2,1,2 P/S, PB. A drop from Valiona and Theralion in the Bastion of Twilight. Fairly easy to get at this point and sells at around 5-10k in AH.
Lil' Ragnaros
*,2,1 Any Breed. Can be bought at Blizzard store for $10 US. A good pet to have, and as one person pointed out, you can do cooking on his head.
Battle:
Enchanted Pen
Nevermore
Twilight Clutch-Sister
(Says P/S, but I used P/B and it worked the same for me)
Phase Shift - Twilight Fire - Twilight Meteorite - Twilight Fire - Pass (TCS Dies)
Lil' Ragnaros
Flamethrower, Conflagrate

oke simpel.
use Broot and Blossoming ancient.
both with Sunlight>Photosynthesis>Ironbark.
start with Photosythesis than sunlight than ironbark.
beware that each move has to be done on both Broot and the Ancient before going to the next move.
good luck, worked for me 100%.

Two Puddle Terrors worked well for me (1,1,1). Cast sunlight when available, keep natures ward up, fill with water jet. I brought Crazy Carrot along for backup (2,2,1). One of the other posts indicated the Aged Yolk can clear the annoying flames M-37 leaves in play.

Pretty straight forward. I used :
Doom bloom
Magma raveling
Ravenous prideling
Key is I used all lvl one
Just keep fighting and killing until all are dead. Nothing fancy.

with Snowball to one shot Corporal Hammer. Then I finished up with
森卢肯碎片
second and
熔炉之魂
last. I tried all kinds of combos, but this was the one that finally worked for me.

Not sure what I'm missing here, but I tried permutations of all these strats, and cannot overcome M-37's Firebomb spam. I couldn't kill him fast enough to prevent him from dropping at least 7 on the field that ticked for 9 rounds each. No team that I put together was strong enough to get through, whether I tried level 1's or 25's.

Needless to say this is way too difficult compared to pretty much anything except for one similarly dumb fight in the celestial tournament. The Dev who came up with this should be fired because they force the player with this poorly designed fight to waste a lot of time which doesnt worth to spend on it compared to the laughable reward..
There are different comps that can work but you would need specific pets with rare abilities that most ppl wont have.
For those who are struggling with this battle here is a comp that will work like a charm that I created with pets that most people own for pet battles:
Puddle Terror
Puddle Terror
..something you like ..I brought a terrible turnip with me since it has plenty of heals and strong attacks against the mecha.
The first enemy pet will keep swapping your two Puddle Terrors. First you wanna use Sunlight ..then with the second Puddle you go with Nature's Ward. Then when the enemy switched you back to your first Puddle Nature's Ward again. After that just use Sunlight on cd and keep up the Nature's Ward buff when it's about to expire. The aoe from Sunlight will pretty much vaporize the whole enemy team so once you finished off the first enemy pet you'll only need 1-2 hits on the last 2 to kill them. GL!
