Duo'ed by two 60 Hunters, no raid gear.
Tips:
1. He sacrifices one member of the group at random, leeches their life and takes them out of the fight.
2. Curses do mad damage, if you have a way to cure them keep on it.
3. Can be silenced.
4. Cannot be stunned/slowed/Ice trapped

Soloed as a 70 shadowpriest. Stood as far away from him as I could. Doted and jumped down, started runing up again, and faced him in the mittle, he started casting some spell but it resisted, which gave me even more time to run away from him, doted and started SWP spaming, lost maybe 2k damage, and it was all from jumping down. :)

I duo'ed this with a warlock at lvl 60, think we used the same tactic, just doted and kited.

Solo'd as a lv 70 frost mage pretty easily..

im partialy epic geared, with 857 frost spell dmg when using pots.. got element out... and both of us just nuked it.. he was hitting me for 503 dmg, so shields either held up.. or i dodged...

frost bolt doesnt slow him, nova doesnt work either...

I was fooling around in Dire Maul with my level 70 protection specced warrior with gear level at around Karazhan, and I tried this boss. The sacrifice spell he uses to put you on the altar and leech your life seems to be resistable. I think this is the spell: http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=22651. Furthermore it can actually be spell reflected. I managed to do that once instantly teleporting Zevrim to the altar. Unsurprisingly he wasn't affected by the stun or the life leech part of the spell.

Just soloed him as a 70 warlock. Blew him up in about 10 sec. Granted I have some T4 gear and a felguard, but it wasn't that tough. He died before he could get his sacrifice spell off.

70 Frost mage, low-end raid gear (kara/mags/gruuls), 900 spell dam unbuffed. All it took was a few frost bolts and he was down. An easy kill for a frost mage, didn't even need to get my ele out.

Soloed as a 70 Protection Paladin.

Most of his spells completely missed me. I was surprised, both Intense Pain and Sacrifice missed repeatedly. In the entire fight I only had to Cleanse once and Sacrifice only got hold of me once. It was basically a tank and spank. SotC, Judge, SoR, and throw in Exorcism. I have a decent mana pool so I threw in Av. Wrath and Cons. and popped my Oshu'gun Relic for some added damage.

I never even turned off Crusader Aura.

This guy is a joke at 70, didn't even land a hit on my prot warrior. Every spell resisted and every melee hit missed or avoided.

I soloed him pretty easily on my 70 shadow priest. His sacrifice only hit me for about 280 while his melee was in the 400's.

Solo'ed easily on 68 Boomkin (Balance/Resto) druid.
His Shadow Pain hit me a few times, but I lifebloomed and Nature Switfness once with some added HoT's and he went down easily after the first few thousand HPs were taken off.

I also Innervated a lil early just to get the 2nd lot of Heals off quicker. This NPC can be found on the 3rd level to the right of the main entrance.

The Sacrifice ability he casts can be reflected by Spell Reflect (warriors) dealing lots of damage to him though he will not be stunned by it like players are.

He can be tricky to find as 3 of the bosses are at the same spot on the map but at different elevations. Take the narrow corridor at the north end of the lower level (just north of Hydrospawn's pool), the one that loops around to the right and up. That'll take you to him.

Since I know I always have problems finding him, I'm going to give detailed instructions to help others who wish to find this boss (I farm him for Clever Hat on various alts for RP purposes).

1) Enter East through either the front or side entrance. Follow the path to the northeast corner of the rectangular section you are in.

2) Head right into a passageway and follow it until you see another entryway on your right.

3) Head for the southeast corner of this room. Follow the circular tunnel down and enter the next level.

4) Head for the northeast corner of this room (this is the level with Hydrospawn on it). Follow the tunnel up.

5) Zevrim will be on your immediate left upon exiting this tunnel.

Interesting note his sacrifice can be spell reflected causing the chains to appear on him and count as a HoT.

My group had a good laugh against this guy today when he decided to sacrifice the Shaman's Searing Totem.

It was heart-wrenching to watch that poor totem restrained on the slab, in such pain.
