He looks like a buffed up mix bewteen an eredar and an infernal.
He looks like Kromog, maybe similar encounter
It's a remodeled Goren, with a smaller head. Pity I was looking foward to learning about him. Just your random giant brute
Ill refrain from spoilers
But they give you plenty of reason to kill this guy
I've been a dedicated player of the horde ever since I started playing this game, but I'll never forget the days I spent at the argent tournament or assaulting the Icecrown Citadel with him

The broken shore was merely a setback!
Fun fact: The script for the boss mechanics is a copy from Diablo III against Belial in act 2
This one looks strangly familiar. Could this one be the brother of Krasus ? (God of War)
This monstrosity is a very rare sight, because his species is known as a Doom Lord (not to be confused with the Doomlord Kazzak species) which are gargantuan behemoths of war. This species comes from an unknown homeworld and their real name is still a mystery, luckily, these are rarely seen. These may have similarities to a Man'ari Eredar, however they are not, notice the lack of a tail.

We will remember you.
Krosus bears remarkable similarities, in both appearance and mechanics, to a boss named Straga in Darksiders.
You fight the giant demon Straga in a narrow street, while he stands in a deep crevasse, so you're at about his chest height. Straga periodically sends blasts of fire down one side of the street, and tries to slam his fists down when you stand close to him.
Straga periodicaly throws cars at you, in much the same way as Krosos throws fireballs.
Even more coincidently, Straga, like Krosus is a boss you fight twice - once at the start of the game, and then a harder version towards the end.
Achievement, LFR Only
“A traveler without observation is a bird without wings.” – Moslih Eddin Saadi.
After Krosus destroys the bridge and you are safe, jump off anyway.
I have a problem, with Krosus tanking in HC: In Normal when the Searing Brand stacking, we (with guildie, and we speak in TS) easy switch the tanking, the off-tank can drop this Searing Brand debuff. But in HC, the debuff stacking all the time, when the other tank have aggro, this time too. I don't understand. What we can do? When the other one tanking the boss, we not hit him... or anything else?
Ty for help.
I struggled a lot trying to solo this as a 120 BM hunter. I finally found success using feign death to get rid of the searing brand stacks. It was still a struggle, but I managed to eek out a victory.
If you solo LFR
like me, for the
chain, in order to open the gates you will have to kill
first. I didn't know, and most lists have
, so I wasted lots of time killing trash and planlessly running around in order to try to open the gate.
To those who are working on the
here's a few tips:
1. Talk to the LFR NPC in Legion Dalaran and ask to be taken to "The Nightspire".
2. You do not have to kill
to get to
and even if you do kill Tichondrius, the door might NOT open to the center building in Nighthold (The Nightspire).
and this will not stop you from killing Krosus.
3. Go around the Nightspire, following the gardens - there's a load of trash so you might wanna maneuver around them or pull them to the stairs leading to Krosus.
4. Kill mobs before Krosus. He spawns. MAKE SURE YOUR HATCHLING IS OUT!
5. Kill him.
Hope this helped!
Just about managed to solo on mythic with a blood DK in fresh 60 gear (144 item level). It was very close. With even heroic dungeon or LFR gear this will be easily clearable. Probably easier on a DPS spec with self healing to be honest, it was the lack of bridge and stacks of the DoT that the boss and adds put on you that nearly killed me by the end.
His resource bar is the same green-chartreuse color as his health bar. What kind of resource is it supposed to represent? It's clearly not rage, energy, mana, or focus.
For those simply looking for info on how to find Krosus, look at the main map for The Nighthold, and he is in the southeast. Follow the ground-level roads, around the Night Spire, and he is down the big staircase that leads off the map. You'll come to a broken bridge, kill some geenies, jump down, and he come up out of the water.
I submitted a screenshot in case you need visuals or I didn't describe it well.
