Northrend's New Kalu'ak Fishing Derby!
Slorkuz just posted details on the new Kalu'ak Fishing Derby I mentioned
last week
. The new event will test your skill and also require you to be rather lucky. Every Wednesday at 8 PM players can attempt to catch the rare Blacktip Shark. Elder Clearwater will be waiting for one hour in Dalaran for the first person to bring the shark to him. You will be rewarded for the trouble if you do.

Upcoming Engineer Changes
Hey, everyone—MasterOfDisguise here with some big news! The Engineering profession will be undergoing some MAJOR changes and, for once, it's actually mostly awesome! Before I get to the break and share the good news, I just have one thing to say: Engineers rejoice!

Profession Changes (Buffs) in 3.2
Looks like Patch 3.2,
Call of the Crusade
, will a patch that brings joy and happiness to many, if not all of us. After the
Argent Tournament Changes
, now we get Profession Changes! Long story short, all of the professions are being buffed.
On a slightly side note, a lot of information starts to leak. Something like this happened about...I believe 2 months before
The Secrets of Ulduar
was released. Do you think we can expect 3.2 around the end of the summer?

Wowhead: Glyphs and Spells, Together at Last!
If you've ever wondered if there was a glyph that affected your
火球术
spell and what it did, you've probably been scouring
a filtered list of mage glyphs
in an effort to answer that question. We here at Wowhead were not satisfied with that as a solution, so we've made the task easier!
Pages for spells that can be modified by glyphs (such as
) will now have a tab called "Modified By" which lists all of the glyphs that can alter the spell. Conversely, glyph items (such as
体型缩小雕文
and
被烧毁的雕文
) will now have a tab called "Modifies" which lists all ranks of the spell that it alters, allowing you to quickly review the spell and its normal effects.
Now, get out there and start inscribing!

Just a quick update today. I thought it was worth pointing out that the
official patch notes
listed on the
European WoW Site
contained a very interesting note:
Mining veins and deposits no longer require multiple hits to receive all the ore. Players will receive around the same amount of ore, stone, and gems they would have received from multiple hits.
What's that? I can't hear you over the sound of millions of miners rejoicing.
