Ysera isnt Elunes creation. Shes the titans creation. More specifically Eonar's creation. Both her and alexstraza where imbued with Eonar's power. This would make the Winter Queens sister, Eonar. The bigger question i have now is are all of the pantheon of death related to the living pantheon? And if so in what way/form? Are they from the same world soul but split? So many questions lol
"Calm" Seems a bit more cold tbh. "Winter Queen" heh...Jokes aside, "This is of my sister" I'm curious what "This" is refering to in that statement whether it's just an Elune reference or if it's referring to the Green Dragonflight and their Nature Blessing. Also also it seems like the Queen, possibly as she's the direct link to Ardenweald, is hoarding the Anima in the zone for herself if she has to chose to dole it out and it temporarily pains her to do so.
https://wow.gamepedia.com/YseraEonar the titan blessed Alexstrasza's younger sister, the lithe green dragon Ysera, with a portion of nature's influence. Ysera fell into an eternal trance, bound to the waking Dream of Creation. Known as the Dreamer, she would watch over the growing wilds of the world from her verdant realm, the Emerald Dream.
Ysera wasn't created by Eonar either - she was a proto-drake on Azeroth who was empowered by the remaining essence of Eonar via the Titan keepers. The Winter Queen says "This is of my sister." when she addresses the pod with Ysera's soul in it (after it was pretty obvious Elune was the one who saved Ysera's soul in Legion). 99% chance the Winter Queen is referring to Elune when she says "my sister".
She also calls her "her pet" which makes more sense for it being Eonar considering she turned her into the Aspect of Dreams.
Im not crying. your cryinnnn
I can sort of see the point you're trying to make - however, we have never seen nor have any indication that Eonar has interacted with Ysera since the battle with Galakrond, while Ysera's soul was specifically taken by Elune in Legion and delivered to the Winter Queen (who refers to the pod soul as being of her sister). At this point it seems it could go either way, however current (and more recent) evidence seems to point more towards her referring to Elune rather than Eonar with respect to Ysera.
Yeah but Elune didnt shape the dream, Freya did. Freya is Eonars titan keeper. If you look at it logically, Eonar is the guardian of nature and life.
Elune doesnt guard the dream though... That was Ysera's job given by Eonar when she imbued her with her power over nature. Elune is more likely to be a watcher over Azeroth as known in lore. "Reverence for Elune is not limited to the night elves, however. In tauren culture, she is known as Mu'sha, the left eye of the Earthmother, with the right eye being the sun, An'she. Elune is one of the few full deities of Azeroth." https://wow.gamepedia.com/Elune
The only thing that would make sense is if Eonar created both Elune and the Winter Queen and they are both her children.
It were titans the one, who gave powers to the dragons. In fact it was Eonar the one who gave life energies to the Ysera. So Eonar is Winters Queen sister.Need to find out why they are sisters, if Winter Queen is not a titan.
Best Dragongirl is back!
I'm no fan of bringing back dead characters, the only reason we feel grief is because of the permanence attached with dying. Especially since Ysera's death was the finale of Val'sharah, the story of that zone feels a bit cheapened now. Let's just hope that Ysera is the one exception, and we don't see all the dead characters we encountered so far, come back in some form.
Night king queen ressurect new flying dragon mount with blue eyes.
oh, so there IS a cinematic after the escort quest ... it did not play for me in game, so it was quite anticlimatic to phase from an escort right into winter queen and ysera idling around
10/10 on this cinematic blizzard. Put tears to my eyes just like the Val'sharah cinematic.
