hmm AMD's Ray Tracing looks quite a lot different compared to the 20series Nvidia ray tracing im gonna need some gpu review asap and see how they stand up to the 30series
I'd show the boss fight before that GIF, no context makes the GIF look weird, I couldn't tell I was looking at boss shadows, and I thought it was weird lighting / shadows from those falling debris or the torch. But now it looks / makes sense after seeing the full clip of what I was looking at.
easy event starts nov 3rd2 weeks later is nov 16th the anniversary and boom there we go its SL launchpresentation is 10th the following monday is 16thAMD teased nov launchNVIDIA leaked nov launchOFC blizz higher ups would make the aniversary both wow and SL aniversary if they could, not passing up this chance
Weird thing to showcase when WoW ain't exactly a visually stunning looking game by today's standards of graphic tech... :P
I'll stick with my potato for now. I can set everything mid to high and get 60+fps. Hoping for a good tax return check and then maybe I'll upgrade. My biggest thing to stall me is that I have lost interest in the current game and find myself playing less and less. If they do not release new content soon, I may just take a break for awhile. I stopped for a couple years a couple of years ago. Once my interests go elsewhere, I won't be back for a while. I love the game, but if you can't keep me entertained, I'll look elsewhere. I have a feeling the longer they wait, the more subs they will lose for this exact reason. Don't get me wrong, I'll be back, but it might not be for a year or two. If enough people do this, it will hurt their bottom line. Not a threat, just an observation.
AMD has gotten points from me for acknowledging one of my favorite games. 16 gb ram. Nice.
The AMD ray tracing implementation for WOW looks much better than the Nvidia one. Honestly, I didn't notice any changes to the screen with the nvidia ray tracing on.
