I always look forward to these blogs. It has helped a lot in my gold making ventures.
Another weekly wrap-up, another bunch of unrealistic prices hyping people up.
I always take the AH-related stuff with a grain of salt. There's a steep learning curve there, especially with the addons. You're probably not going to be able to just jump into it and start making 5 or 6 figures a day from buying and reselling.
multiboxing is cheating
A p2w? Everyone knows that a multiboxer dont pay with real money lol..They just pay with tokens..A regular multiboxer in my realm can make 500k in 2 hours just farming Zin'athid..If this is not cheating then i dont know what it is..
What an unrealstic post
Removed Uchurs moderation is a perfect example how blizzards indoctrination and sites are moderated. He leaves the posts orignal, but after some time pass by, he starts altering them sneaky. for wow $$ is my guess. You don't want honest questioning, you only want spotlight on you and whatever you represent. But be sure, all i want is the truth to be spoken.
Yep, I wish when people give goldmaking advice they would stop counting "best case scenario" and elevating prices, theoretical "gold per hour" somehow always ends up as much less when the average player tries the same advice. It applies to everything, farming, crafting, flipping, you won't always sell everything for the best possible price. I'm doing daily anchor weed transmute on my 2 alchemists and I can't remember when was the last time price of it was above 100g, probably somewhere in 8.1 before Zinanthids, but that's because the base herbs for the transmute went for 10g+ each and nowadays they're around 4g each since the demand shifted mostly to Zinanthids for flasks / pots. For example on my realm it's quite common for people to organize mythic trash farm for BOEs but again, you can be lucky and drop a top corruption, and you can be unlucky and not get any BOE looted in hours of trash clearing. "Gold per hour" can't be easily measured.Exactly whenever i see a guide claiming "this mog / this pet / will get you 500k " i just turn it off . They never seem to take in account the different markets of server or the general interest that people might have in that item .Theoretically i have 500 k gold , in practice i have auction house fees for trying to sell that item for months on end and dropping the price to where it is not even worth the hassle anymore .
Thanks for these posts, they're good to read for aspiring gold makers. To the complainers: different servers have different demand. Between Moonguard and Illidan, which server do you think would care more about potions/flasks, and which would care more about transmog and pets?UNDERSTAND YOUR REALM. It really isn't that hard to understand that different types of playstyles demand different products. Not every gold-making tip is going to apply to your server. It takes time and research.
Oh, nifty, picked up a TSM searching tip that was useful. Thx.
