Corruption is worse thant titanforging.. It's the same kind of RNG but now you have the new "fun experience" of not being able to wear the newly dropped corrupted item because your overall corruption gets too high otherwise... SO MUCH FUN!
What really bothers me about the Nzoth defeat cinematic is one of the things that I find disappointing in the entirety of 8.3 - none of the major lore characters play much of a role in the patch. In the Nazjatar questline, we have Jaina and Lor'themar coming together and decide that the war has to end because it has distracted us from this great threat - they are nowhere to be seen during the 8.3 storyline.Anduin during the 8.3 beginning cinematic: "tell us how to stop him" - Anduin doesn't do anything to help stop him.We dont even see a minor appearance from the other dragonflight leaders that were in the essence questline. Instead all we get is 2 zones under attack, and no major lore figures helping out in these areas. And the raid is just us running along with Wrathion while Magni pops in at the end. Imagine if in the end cutscene when all the players are being mind controlled by Nzoth, lor'themar, Jaina and others (possibly Shandris and Thalyssra because they assisted in Nazjatar) are being mind controlled as well (the reason Wrathion doesn't go in to face Nzoth which is fine) and it plays out the same way - the heart of azeroth frees us from his control, we beam him, Nyalotha is destroyed. They could have had that cinematic continue, replacing the incredibly annoying "yer tha champion of azeroth!" Cutscene we get at the end which just repeats dialogue we have heard 10 thousand times throughout the expansion. All the characters could be there, thanking us for our work to help azeroth - think of this in the style of the demon hunter cinematics at the beginning of legion, where the screen is actually our characters point of view. They really need to do that more, it is way better than the silly in-game cutscenes with minimal, clunky animations that look like they were ripped from a decade old sims game. The point is they could have done so much better, but it is clear they just decided to rush it out as quick as possible because they dont want to deal with Bfa anymore.
A couple of ideas to fix RNG for corruption:1) Corruption transfer: For example, let's say you drop a bis rank 3 corruption from a world quest, it would awesome if you could transfer that to another piece of your equip2) Raising corruption: Let's say you drop a rank 1 bis corruption but ehy it's only rank 1. Could be awesome if there is some kind of currency (from raid or daily assult quests) that you could use to empower that effect. The currency could also be dropped by cleansing other pieces. Now let's just hope someone reads this.
Probably really a matter of taste, the "hero" thing. I personally absolutely hate being called "hero" or "champion" by npcs in the game (although I do understand they can't call every player by their name, being voice acted). I don't feel a hero or a champion and that's fine - all I want is to take part in this big events and stand there watching with awe as those really cool npcs do really cool things. May that be Thrall, Illidan or whomever.I'm just one (player-race) in that game, one of many. I can't push swords in planets, open portals to the other side of the universe, I can't even turn into a dragon or look as pretty as Wrathion and that's fine. Show me his and all the other npc's faces anytime in nice, long cinematics. Give me that wonderful voice acting, that can bring me to tears, Blizzard. (Just let us get rid of Sylvanas soon, please. I don't like to see that one any more.) I'm the watcher in the shadows, I do my part and I want to see the true heroes - and villains - of Azeroth get all the spotlight.I really hope all the shadowlands folks won't call me hero / champion. They don't even know me.
