Anyone knows if this works with tokens?
Why did you make an article on an exploit? Also if it is not an exploit, well blizzard will hotfix this now......
It isn’t an exploit, and blizzard won’t stop it. They get their money, so they’re happy for people to do this sort of thing, just as with the previous RAF.@tlhart, did you include the free months on your main account in that calculation?
And why should I not create one E-Mail account send it an invite and buy 12months on that one email to get all rewards without all the hassle?
The referrer gets 4 free months of game-time as part of the rewards, so if you would be subbed anyway, then that would be £40 worth of game-time in the UK on a monthly sub basis.Overall this method costs £60 (12 X £5), so effectively you're paying for your sub as normal for 4 months, and £20 for all the extras.I think I've convinced myself to give this a go :)
im confuse, u cant do this anymore with 1 extra account and wait 1 year?
Also what about buying four three month subscriptions? That would give four free months to your main account and you would benefit from the sale four times.I don’t think wowhead thoroughly examined this.Dranlord, yes you can do that if you’re willing to wait.
You can, but it'll cost more and take a full year.
The point is the 50% off first month subs for new accounts, that's where the savings come in.
I think it's sad to see how many people that doesn't seem to get the concept of recruit a friend. It's meant for recruiting new people and get the rewards over time, not to make a new account and just buy yourself all the rewards in one go... and people complaining about it will be too expensive to buy themselves these rewards rather than looking at the real issues which is how ridiculously low the reward is for the recruited person and how difficult it can be to find recruits.Personally i find it being a good way to get recruits by being kind and helpful to starter editions to have a chance at making a raf deal with them, but also very annoying how limited it is for the starter editions because they can't speak to people in /say chat if they are more than 10 levels lower than a subscribed player so you have to whisper them first and they might not know how to reply to a whisper yet or just think its okay to reply back in /say but then the subscribed player won't be able to see that.So there are definetely some things that could be improved, but it doesn't help that most people complain about the wrong things because they dont understand or seem to care about the concept of this feature.
I'd rather buy all mounts during the winter sale than doing this tbh.
@MadnessAndChaos Love the name xD but are you mad!that would be the decent thing or common sense..and we cant have none of that in todays world.
And wait, since you obviously get the rewards wouldn’t you get four free months regardless? So the cheapest method would indeed be the wowhead 12x recruit, but it would actually cost7.49 x 12 = 89.88 initial cost 89.88 - 59.96 (four months on main) = $30.02 total cost to youIs this correct? And if so has anyone actually done it to confirm it works?
Soo what happend to step 3?
How many people are really "recruiting" new players for this game? It's not illegal to exploit peoples impulses when it comes to this type of collectible stuff.
Thirty bucks for two mounts, a title, pet, and xmog set seems very reasonable to me, if you’re the sort of person who pays for dlc in the first place of course.
Really disappointed to see Wowhead promoting this.
They hotfixed it, a new account IS NOT 50% off so a wow2 wow3 ect is NOT 50% off, to do this 50% off u need 12 emails, it is only the 1st wow account per email that is 50% off
