We already know thats false.
Nice. I ended as a horde on an alliance super heavy EU server... -.-
oceanic is always bundled with NA, and this is the case here as my realm Remulos is on the NA list
Another blatant misunderstanding of statistics. Guys, you gotta stop. This in no way is representative of the real data. It falls into the same trap that using the guides does: it is heavily skewed towards specific subsets of players. It is like going out and polling only white women above the age of 60 who they were going to vote for in 2016. Your demographics make the underlying results less than worthless, it makes them HARMFUL when you attempt to derive conclusions from it. Worse still, you are acting like the guides data being similar corroborates your findings when it couldn't be less significant. This is how misinformation spreads, and like intentional or not, you are hurting the hunt for the truth. Showing this info in such a prominent manner is far far FAR worse than just wildly speculating.
4.2 million players between the US and EU servers alone. Those numbers are insane.
At best, this is the number of characters per server. So someone has 10 chars on a realm, 9 of them are lvl 1-10 for name reservation, 1 of them is their main. Its the same with realm pop for retail, my realm is Medium on retail, and realm pop shows 148000 characters. So yeah, this is collective number or chars, not active players.
cool data though. have been waiting for something like this to come out.
Stonespine balanced? Hahah, nice bull*hit ratio, surely almost 50/50, yep.
Anyone going to talk about EU Wyrmthalak's 98% Alliance rate?
Someone uploaded bad/troll data or some very outdated info regarding Faerlina that has players from the first few days that quit.I've been running census scans on both horde and ally the past week or so at various times of the day.I've scanned approx 20,000 alliance and 24,000 horde that have been active during that time.At peak times with a queue there are approx 6500 horde players online and 5200 alliance. Server size seems to be around or slightly below 12,000.
There is no way Pagle has 100k unique players on it. The queue time after the initial launch was no were as bad as Herod and Faerlina. After the first few days, the queue time was only an hour while herod and faerlina were still at 2 hour+. I don't doubt that there are A LOT of people playing classic, but I don't think these numbers reflect unique players but is just a count of characters made.
I just use both those sites and upload my scans to both. I feel wowpop has a few more quirks to work out but seems to be more popular.
