Your looking at it the wrong way, its about not enough regular ppl get invites, if u look at the amount of people who is ingame at streams, its like 1000 at max.And IF about 200.000 people signed up for beta, its 1 in 200 that gets in. That's 0.5 % chance to get an invite.... Thats insanely low.
You also don't get an email or a beta key. Check your battle.net app and click the drop down.
Of course not, why would they invite you to test their programme for retaining/acquiring customers. You're a sure customer, it's those who frequently lapse, who have breaks that they care about scoring with this. This isn't thr Blizzard we grew up with, they're incompetent businessmen, not passionate developers.P.S. Art department; you still got it, keep fighting the good fight!
Not true, at least for the most recent wave. my buddy just got his beta access today and was notified through email.
I've allways been invited to Beta and Alpha, but not this year.It seems like it only is for streamers.I watched a streamer play classic beta thé other day and the person didn't even report bugs when they accured.Only thing that happend was the streamer complained about how *!@#ty it was.But hey the streamer gets subs and likes out of it and the chance to earn more money. And Blizzard gets the game promoted for free.Don't see this as a good thing. The meaning of getting in to a Beta is in my head to test and solve bugs and issues that may accure.I hope Blizzard wakes up and gives the Beta to people that realy care.
This is what happens when Blizzard goes full streamer benefits and shuns the rest of the entire WoW community to benefit streamers who already has everything given to them... there's valid reasons to be mad because the way Blizzard handled this situation is actually really horrible. They made it a closed beta instead of a public beta, which is even more triggering to be frank. It's just really, really sad the direction of Blizzard is not seemingly going to change. They will keep supporting big streamers and shun the true fans of the game.I saw a big streamer who has never played WoW but once or twice get full access to the beta. While others who actually play the game does not get access to the beta. How insane is this on a scale 1/10? I just want to know at this point.
