1. You cant even compare BDK to something like a Guardian druid, by nothing else than the sheer amount of utility toolkit. You can tell me or anyone present that its all about the healing, but nobody will give a sht cause BDK has it all, from an aoe that starts ticking from 90% slow, to 2 taunts, 2 grasps, basically total control over the pulls.You can weave any story you like but if you want to compare this to a guardian druid's ability to do a 5 yard pushback sneeze and a few second aoe fear, then all i can reply in return that your bias is showing like the sun in the night sky.And no. Guardian tanking right now is basically stand still, have your face beaten in while you alternate between spamming trash/swipe and iron fur, hoping that your mitigation withholds your pull.Thats not a tank design. Sorry. Thats not even a design of any kind. You can replace it with a **** ROCK aoe taunt and it will have the same performance as a guardian druid.2. Your rant about get happy go lucky racials on the horde side is simply unhinged. You cant have dungeons not to mention god damn RAIDS with parts that can be circumvented with just a racial. That line of thinking leads to places nobody will come back from unscratched. The most useful pve racials are literally all on horde side. From tauren get happy go lucky aoe stuns, knockdowns to these aoe purges and what the god damn * not.Spend 5 minutes and check what alliance characters work with. You will find next to only pvp oriented defensive skills, reductions to snare effects, get out of stuns, teleportation and such bs. None of it has nearly any type or kind of use in m or raid pve content, so please stop talking crap.

At this point the game has shifted so much to the right on the flavourful - mechanical scale, that things like one faction having access to blatantly unique unitlity abilities is simple unacceptable. Racials have gone from really unique and race-defining to an afterthought, which should have led us to the point where race is a purely cosmetic choice, but here we are still having abilities that can absolutely shift the balance in certain situations. The same goes for different starting locations in dungeons. Would it be too much of a hussle to let both factions start in the same spot and then simply replace enemies with appropriate analogues? I think at this point PvE racials are just an artifact of older times - they have their place... in WoW classic, but in current state of the game, they must either be boring damage boosts, or else they will be incredibly difficult to balance, something we currently observe. It is fine to have access to a bank or a mailbox on demand, but having mini Mass Dispel because you had chosen a pretty long-haired boy on the character selection screen is hard to justify.Blizzard need to make up their mind - are they making MMORPG or a competetive dungeon crawler? The gameplay tells us latter, but occasional attempts at maintaining the masquarade of a MMO, which may or may not accomplish their goal, often ruin the impression. The integration of dungeons and raids into the main storyline among other things leads to this.
The tank design for this expansion has been a failure imo, except in 2 cases. Blood DK in M+ and Brew in Raiding.Tanks should feel tanky. The redesign for bfa forgot this and hamstrung the all of the tanks in different ways. It is just that the hamstringing that Blood DK's got didn't overly effect their M+ ability, while Brews didn't get over screwed for Mythic raiding.Until the gap closes a bit a tanks can feel tanky again it will continue to be a problem.But Blizzard seems adamant that tanks should be a 5 month old sponge that is falling apart, rather than a wall or even a sponge that can use cooldowns to be a wall. Yes healers need a job, make that job putting bricks back into the wall, not attempting to stitch together a falling apart sponge, make it more buff focused perhaps or change the unavoidable dmg to the whole group to be more intense compared to tank dmg. There is a lot of options to make both healers and tanks feel impactful, without making the tanks feel like soggy sponges.
It sucks patch after patch what Blizzard does to classes. You spend all this time, effort, money, etc on gearing a character out only to watch it get nerfed into the ground. Instead of nerfing it, why don't they buff the other tanks to bring them up to par. This whole nerf bat bull$%^& Blizz pulls is enough already.
OR, instead of nerfing BDK, they could simply give other Tanks a bit more utility too.Maybe noone plays a Guardian Druid because standing still pressing 3 Buttons isnt that great ?Maybe jumping around like a bunny on drugs as a DH isnt that great ? "yeah hell nerf it, must be OP cuz everybody playz it"....See its not about the metrics, a Guradian Druid can excel too in m+ and raids but its just pure trash to play it.

I suspect if Havoc wasn't such an outlier with regards to strength as a dps the Vengeance representation in high keys would be much closer to that of Blood DK. Right now if you are a DH who wants to push keys you are better off playing a dps than tanking while if you are a DK you basically only have one option since neither of the dps specs are really viable for pushing. In my own regular M+ group (where we don't push much above a 10) we had a DH tank and an Unholy dps in Legion. This tier we swapped roles and the motivating factor wasn't how much better Blood is than Vengeance, the motivating factor was how much better Havoc is than Unholy. I'm sure we are not the only group to come to the same conclusion. This is why balance is tricky. You could bring Blood DK representation down and Vengeance representation up just by balancing out the strength of the classes relevant dps specs where the disparity is far greater. It isn't really fair to say that Vengeance is weak when the spec is devalued simply by the fact that more than half the M+ groups already have a Havoc DH who brings all the same utility.I can certainly see while Blood will be getting hit a bit but it is over simplistic to just look at the problem in isolation. There are basically four problem specs right now in high M+.Blood DK.Assassination Rogue.Havoc DH.Frost Mage. At a pinch you can throw Balance Druid, BM Hunter and Affliction Warlock into that pile.I'd happily see them all get nerfed (though I can imagine the QQ when the level of key it is possible to push for the top teams drops by 2 overnight) but it has to be done with care. It's fine to nerf BM for example but since the other Hunter specs are unrepresented doing so would basically lock Hunters out of high M+. Nerfing Blood is the same for DKs as without it DKs are basically locked out of high M+.

Have to say that^ is absolutely disgusting for a game dev to say and shows the extremely clear bias they have against the Alliance side. 50th cool horde mount, alliance get another stupid horse, dev actively admitting they have never played Alliance and it seriously shows all you have to do is walk outside of Boralus to know as much. I'm on an Alliance heavy realm but that means literally nothing anymore because the terrible phasing garbage has Alliance outnumbered 5 to 1. The only suggestion I ever hear is "turn off PvP". Why should I lose out on 10% rewards and extra skills because Blizzard doesn't understand how to balance things (make them fair) for anyone other than the disgusting horde. It is blatantly NOT FUN to have a WQ boss down to 15% HP having never attacked a horde character first and not get the kill because 5 rabid dogs think it's funny to kill you just because they can, then they turn around and park on top of the boss so I either have to go all the way back to Stormwind to turn off PvP for one stupid WQ or wait 30 minutes for them to get bored and leave. They effectively camp the "Champ of Aze" world quests every day in the last hour of reset. The devs are promoting a toxic environment with these decisions and the blatant bias they have is extremely disheartening. Then you've got neckbeard cringelords that "rp" as some dead loser lover to some other dead loser thing effectively ruining any form of story because they're attempting to "insert" their cringe fake persona into the game. This needs to stop immediately it's a game customers pay for not a vessel for your disgusting necrophilia role play needs.They need to hire UNBIASED GOOD writing staff, fire the creepy role playing writers. They need to fire all the class design devs and hire some actual MMO devs bring back all deleted spells/skills and STOP the deletion of abilities. Delete legion talents, BfA gear talents delete all that extra crap and just bring back the god damned talent trees. Stop trying to fix or band aid junk just own up to the fact the original talent trees were amazing and you just need to go back to them rather than keep making up these horrid attempts at a half assed talent tree. Make sure the staff is 50/50 in favour of Alliance vs the other side so this disgusting horde gets everything good while alliance gets a 87th horse stops. I am so disgusted and upset by this little interview I had to ramble about it cause it just confirms all the fear I've been having since the start of legion and they're only getting worse. Beta for Azeroth is a half empty watered down Legion. The writers are terrible, Ion needs replaced and the majority of the game needs to be brought back (class wise) to MoP times cause they aren't enjoyable anymore after having half our spells deleted. Absolutely atrocious and these devs should be embarrassed about how their game is circling the toilet because of terrible design choices and CLEAR horde bias.
