Well that's disappointing, especially after having made a lot of good choices for quality content partners...
Has this article any value at all ? No
Never understood this. Why complain? Their name is in the title, you don't have to freaking click on it...
Best WoW content creators after Nixxiom.
They are so funny, glad to see WoWhead supporting the community members who make content
I enjoy Taliesin and Evitel's videos; they're amusing, informative, and their enthusiasm for the game is infectious. Glad to see WowHead teaming up with them.As a side note, while WowHead might occasionally post an article that isn't of much interest to me personally, I don't go out of my way to comment negatively on it, because there are likely lots of other players for whom that article is both relevant and interesting. Such a comment wouldn't accomplish anything, other than making me seem petty and bitter. Something to think about.
I don't know who Perculia is, but I like them already. Their responses are the polite way of telling people to "Sit the hell down and shut the hell up." I respect people with the knowledge of language to craft such responses.
If there is anyone who deserves to be promoted, it's Taliesin and Evitel, you've made a good choice Perculia :)
I don't agree with the idea that Elegy and A Good War are okay being left out of the major campaign that the player goes through. I think what many Horde players like myself were missing were a few orcs or tauren (some did travel with us, like kodo riders and warbraves) demanding either an explanation or despairing like Saurfang did. At the end of the Horde questline, Saurfang has no dialogue whatsoever. But both the "Old Soldier" and "A Good War" tell us he had a lot to say. Then you unlock a new world quest to wipe out the remaining defenders of the village you already sacked. As Alliance, after the burning and the Captain's death, you unlock that world quest too. And it's given to you, after she has canonically died moments earlier. Mind you, this quest, just to be clear, ONLY unlocks after completing aforementioned burning. When she died.Mix that with the five-ten minutes of questing, the only "bosses" being two soldier commander npcs who easily get lost among the other generic elves and orcs, and I can understand why many people felt this was a let down. Meanwhile, in Elegy, Tyrande is Elune-incarnate and if partnered up with "I solo'd Sylvanas' entire vanguard lol" Malfurion, they probably could have just won the war. But in-game, I'm starting to get really tired of Tyrande leaping through the bushes and immediately demanding the status update of Malfurion, as if we're a druid daycare center and she's the disgruntled mother. But all that being said, I'm glad to see T+E partnered with WoWhead, they're genuinely one of my favorite WoW content creators, and I'm proud of them. Their in-depth analysis videos are always fun to watch, and they have this strange old god esque charisma about them. Certainly not because there are no old gods this expansion, let alone two. That would be silly.
Advice for all wowhead users: Don't like it? Don't read it!There, problem fixed.
If you mean me, I almost never post, which is Perc's point really. My wowhead rep is almost all from daily visits and twice weekly uploads.
