Kruithne's site is really neat. I'm currently running old dungeons to get more of my recipes completed. I'm occasionally also looking in the AH, but some recipes are just way too expensive.
I think I should learn to use TSM :)
As a player who used the mission gold rewards to pay for his subscription they were an Elune-send for me. They're also a win for Blizzard, because I went from paying them $15 a month to paying them $20 a month which is profit for them and all they had to do was just give us the gold for a little bit of effort (leveling up the order hall, grinding out gear for my army, sending them out on missions). I understand people's misgivings with missions and the gold that Blizzard gives out with them, but understand that people pay their subscriptions with that money and Blizzard makes profit off of that fact-- something that any economist would understand.
Didn't even know what order hall gold farming was a thing, i thought most of the gold income for people was due to boosting runs. Well, RIP afk money making i guess.
Regarding the gold missions. I never really had a problem with them. I see them more as a source of income for some new-ish players for their flasks, repairs, food, maybe some cheap gear or something. Mainly for new-ish players that didnt get a good grasp on professions, farming, or other stuff the rest of us do for gold. I do realise that there are people with 15 maxed out order halls rolling in 100k per day just from those missions, but oh well, you can't balance everything perfectly. :D
Hope the BFA mission tables gives more gold! On the Beta it rewards 800 gold with the bonus objectives, I hope it increase with the quality of your champion, I'm starting to be short on gold! And thanks for the streamer adress, I intend to do a "gold rush" at the start on the expansion, when the price aren't really known, it's nice to have some adress for information!
I feel really blessed that Warlords of Draenor was so alt friendly, especially once you earned flying. I was able to reach my account goal of 50 max level toons in warlords and have continued that into Legion where I now have all 50 toons running order hall gold missions. While it took a huge investment of time at first, leveling is one of my true joys in this game and the amount of money I can turn around just through 30-45 minutes a day of running through my missions is a wonderful feeling.
On topic: Have you leveled your professions ready for Battle for Azeroth? Yes, when I saw profession ranks will be "granfathered" into the BFA split, so if I don't want to go back and max Cata or MOP brackets, it's easiest to power level to max through WOD / Legion catch ups while you still can. I levelled an enchanter to max first with WOD catch up (buy dust from trading post across all alts, convert to blue shards, spam the cheap ring enchant) and then with Legion recipes (200 stat neck enchants are good, unfortunately they don't obliterate, no idea why, all other enchants do), and finally with the epic recipes, unfortunately it's really hard to get the "twink" recipe hidden satyr rank 3 (killed Xavius several times, no drop), but priestess / soldier / claw still sell (or you can obliterate them).
I bloody hate the mission table rewarding gold. I had 11 garrisons sending missions and I am sending off gold missions on 8 characters and it is so incredibly booring. But I did it, I do it and I will do it again in BfA because while it's so tedious and feels so unrewarding it does pay the raiders bill. I still wish they'd just... Not add gold as a mission reward and not have me hang all my toons by the mission table.
Can't remember the most expensive recipe. The recipe that made me the most gold was one of the more annoying do not the most annoying tot get. Vial of the Sands. I started farming it when IT was released it is easier tot get now.Just have 3 chars max lvl atm. Primary proffessions maxxed on al 3(enchanting lailor JC/alch and mining/herbing Doing the gold on 2 of Them since i dont have enough recourses and dont want to go out en farm them
i only had one character (my main) set up for Order Hall mission grinding, but it was pretty successful. It's sad, but not unexpected, to see them go - just like WoD. i plan on pushing for 120 asap and starting the grind all over again! Gotta get those tokens.
TSM is the best Addon in WOW.I made millions with it to buy stuff and tokens.Great work, keep it up
I think it'd be cool if the reputation tokens from order hall missions were more lucrative. Currently as far as gold is concerned they only push you towards getting the chests that give 500-800 g but that's not much better than 50g from ap, seeing as how you have to do 7-ish rep missions to get 1 chest.
Those addons seems better and better. Everyone is prepared for BfA. and this report helps a lot because the pre-patch is so close!Nice economy report, love it
I just started using TSM4 Beta today. I like the new facelift on the GUI. The best "feature" I think is that TSM4 Beta lets the game assets load faster; it was always annoying to wait for my bag items to show up after logging in. Despite some of the things not working fully yet, I'll stick with TSM4 Beta just because of that.
I dont know if anyone replied you yet, but 1 druid follower has an ability that reduces the mission cost by like 30% making Blood of Sargeras missions profitable Resource-wiseI like watching Studen, he is the first gold making streamer that I started to watch and I still do, his farms were succes for me, even though I play on high pop realm and his discord community is also amazing!
Making gold through order hall and alts was, in my opinion a good thing, because it gave us the casual players the option to buy more than just a token per month, it wasn’t as mindless as many say, you had to learn an entire class, go through a campaign and a full quest line. I have 6 alts plus my main making gold, and they require some work to make about 2-3 tokens in one month. I had all maxed professions in WoD and Pamdaria, and was never able to make the amount of gold I’m making now. I hope some kind of replacement is implemented after this.
A couple things...I do have TSM 4 Beta. I'm having trouble setting it up properly, which is nothing new for me. The hardest part is setting up groups. If you could do a video with detailed explanations on how Sniper works and how to set it up properly and how to set up the groups, that would be amazing! It's easier for me to follow a video than text. Always been a visual learner. Thank you in advance. :-D Is there a way to set it up to search for only pets/mounts you don't already have? Also, thank you for the Recipes post. Been looking for something like that for a while. My current favorite gold making streamer is Umren. Even without the hat! lol
I checked TSM4 beta today, since its open beta now. I see UI become better than TSM3 and i'm thankful for that. TSM3's UI was kind of ugly, this one is better. Still checking other functions though. It will take time to adjust new TSM.Snipe is ofcourse the most usefull function of TSM. I am just a casual, newbie goblin and even i flipped some item at the action house and earned some sweet sweet gold.Hardest thing to learn? Operations. Still don't understand much but keep using somehow. Also have a question. Do you think i should dump old world stuff in ah and try to sell as much as i can before BfA? I don't think they will be usefull or profitable with new changes at proffessions but i'm not sure. What is your opinion on this?
