Saurfang heading up a war of conquest in the name of an undead monster, participating in destruction and mayhem, working for literal darkness, then getting punked by a druid and needing saving from his Lich Queen overlord.Character Assassination 101.Also:“I would have thought they were obvious,” he said. “Were the intelligent ones the first to die? Oh wait, there are no intelligent night elves. A troll got another commander’s ears, you know. He’s wearing them now.”The cruel glee faded from his rotting features as he realized she was not making an idle threat. “You cannot win,” he said. “We are everywhere. Have you not yet grasped that it’s all of your posts that are under attack? Dozens like me have descended upon them with our painful poisons. And your clever hunters, your vaunted Sentinels, your slinking druids—none had the slightest idea.”No you guys! Really! This is a nuanced story of faction pride where both sides have grievances and are as bad as each other! That's why the Alliance act like defensive victims who do no wrong and the Horde act like nasty spiteful supervillains! MORALLY GREY I TELL YOU!
So... Sylvanas tried to kill Malfurion by sacrificing Saurfang.I can see where this is going
Why is Saurfang such a hypocrite? First he invades in the name of Sylvanas but later he leaves the horde because he doesn't feel right serving an undead and fulfilling her disgusting commands? Wat?Also, I doubt this dead elf is Shandris. Those ears aren't even similar to Kaldorei ones, but maybe it's just the perspective. Even if it is a Night Elf, it's most likely Delaryn. Or some other sentinel. Shandris deserves much more than just being a quest giver. She's the Sentinel General, it's perfect time for her to be awesome.
Maybe the reason why Malfurion is not in Stormwind's Embassy alongside Tyrande, and she is totally silent is because Malfurion is dead.
Literally the plots of Wolfheart and Tides of War but this time Darnassus.Garrosh 2: Electric Undead Boogaloo
So these novellas are going to be made available for everyone, that's the best news here.So I get to read Before the Storm, have feels, read the novellas, get fueled with energy for my faction, and then take it all out on the pre-patch, haha.Anyway, both excerpts are awesome. Quick and effective Rogue strikes; Saurfang buying time for his troop against Malfurion.Though we know had Malfurion cared about anyone getting away, he probably would have weathered an axe blow to murder everyone. You guys aren't going to be raiding Orgrimmar, so shove that fantasy on your realms and keep it there.
this war is so stupid
