Ho ok . ..So, i think i will stay 110 or maybe stop to play to this game and go elsewhere.
I am not convinced that "the elf" is the same person in both pictures. The elf in Approach seems more Night Elf like while the one in Burns seems more Blood Elf like. The shoulders do not seem similar. The elf becomes a symbol of Sylvanas' influence. One she has brought to its knees, the other she supports while allowing it to see the burning.
The wounded elf can everyone till it's not Tyrande or any important Nelf character.Seriously if they kill tyrande i will go in berserk mode and burn the dev on their twitter account.
They killed it with fire
I don't think the druidic factions (Cenarion Circle and such) would appreciate the Horde burning down a World Tree, I want to see their reaction.
My theory about who burned the tree might be strange but here i go. I think it is Alleria who did it.First do you remember Xe'ra vision: More visions. Possible futures. She saw Xe'ra, the Mother of Light, declaring her a heretic and calling for her death. She saw her blood on Turalyon's sword. She saw Arator calling an army of paladins to hunt her down, only to fall with her arrows in his throat. She saw herself kneeling before the One Who Slumbers beneath Azeroth's waves. She saw herself killing it and taking its place, leading a throng of horrors to consume every nation. That last part seem quite explicit maybe she lost control someway. This could be leading to vareesa death next to Sylvanas. She heard the new about her sister death so she went and what better way to be framed.Tell me what u think about it ^^
In this case similar to sillithus we can probably go back in time by speaking to a bronze dragon somehwere in the zone
I find it interesting that in the previous picture she's impaled; gravely injured but perhaps not dead. In the following picture, of which I'm assuming is later when the tree is burning, she almost appears to be relaxing and watching the tree burn. Could Sylvanas have raised her as another member of the Forsaken to prevent her death?
If Teldrassil does go down in flames, I really hope that there will be another bronze dragon NPC so we can go back to the unburned version. It's going to be like when Darkshore was destroyed, but sadder.
Lets be honest... they are literally burning the tree to the ground to erase the eyesore that is the 1990's graphics of Teldrassil. I bet its smoldering remains will look more like a tree than the floating log it currently looks like.
It's so laughable to hear Horde players complain about thier faction being made out as the bad guys. Your called the Horde, your main races are orcs and trolls, and your allied with litteral zombies. What about any of that made you say "Hey, these must be the good guys" when you hit the create character button for the first time? Own it, embrace it, or reroll. Lots of players want to be the bad guy and rolled horde for that purpose.
I would not be at all surprised if the "mystery wounded elf" isn't an elf you already know about in the lore, or one who was particularly significant previously; in my experience Bliz never misses an opportunity to create/reintroduce yet another 'hot and sexy,' helpless pouting female elf bimbo who will then of course stick around for a long time while relying on and adoring you in some way. I wouldn't be surprised either if it turns out that despite being gravely wounded she is not actually going to die, and instead she'll stick around for a long time in a never-ending series of quests with you.
I don't care who burned down Teldrassil... I was born there... raised in my youth there... and I WILL HAVE MY VENGEANCEELTHADEN... the Beloved
