My favorite profession is engineering i can't live without it and the many utilities it have. Its not the ebst to make gold but i'm doing well making obliterum and mounts with it.
They really seem to have missed the mark with the argus materials and craftables... such a shame really.
The change to spawn timers is appreciated but I would prefer that they would also change them to BOP, this would prevent the crazy farming we are currently seeing. As others have said I would like one for personal use but am seeing 5+ people at every spawn point making this impossible.
i hope blizzard changes proffesions up next xpac
Yea, I tend to also be one of those, 'Use the armory app to do all my auction house stuffs', especially before switching to my Mage. It does make selling easier but the app is starting to show some age. I wish I had a better mind for making gold, myself, but I just can't seem to make it click in my head. I guess that's good for the author, though. :D
You know, I've never thought of using the app in this way until reading it here! Thank you for this thread and giveaway. I do have a question involving the gold missions though, what do you do if there are no gold missions available? I've never really understood it. From what I understand, you just have to clear out the quests that are there because the missions are on some sort of rotation. Can anyone confirm?
Don't underestimate vendor items they can give you a nice bite of gold
I welcome the change to the spawn times, but more from the standpoint that I haven't gotten the mounts myself yet so it would be great to farm them. I understand and kinda agree that it isn't fair to others that had a huge grind to get the mounts. I have just about every trade skill on my alt army and I've always loved the combo of skinner/leatherworker as this was my first. Never really tried to use professions for money making, although a long time ago I did make a bit from selling off inscription things.
My legion profession has been alchemy. It might not be the most lucrative or the most spiky, but consistent demand has me converting herbs to pots/flasks daily for a profit. The consistent return without having to track the market extensively is what appeals to me.
I'm still pretty angry that Professions became way less profitable in 7.3 because none of the old Items can go up to 935. That also made Oblit pretty useless.
Hi GumdropsVery nice blog you have here to your point with proffesions my favorite proffesions are definitely mining and jewelcrafting mining got me into gold making and made me my first 100k and Jc made me a lot of gold with prospectingHappy 13th blog and have a nice day! :D
I love the changes to spawn rates I have been farming rares
Thanks for talking about Primal Sargerite. I thought about buying mats and reselling, but stopped as i figured the market had probably tanked. I will just keep crafting the boes.
Definitely the gathering professions for me in Legion. I made a druid specifically to herb and mine with and is usually my go to way to make gold when i need it. Sometimes I'll transfer some of the materials to my other characters with crafting professions (mainly jewelcrafting and alchemy) and sometimes I just sell the mats raw on the AH depending on the prices.
My favourite profession by far is Engineering. It's gold making potential is niche and hard to leverage, but the utility of this profession is hands down worth it. The access to the bank, mailbox, repairs/vendor, teleports, nitro boosts, glider, and so much more make this not only a fun profession, but ideal for farmers too!
I love the mobile app for gold making since I am often unable to log due to work or other irl stuff! I would like to see more implementations in that to further increment its use in gold making!
Basically Empyrium and the recently added epic gems were the only things that were selling after Argus and with that gone, It's gonna be hard to keep up with the rising price of the tokens. I hope they add new recipes soon. A new expansion will also be announces during blizzcon and that will spike the price of tokens even more.
The best and most consistent profession to make gold is definitively enchanting and jewelcrafting. Reason? Each time a new tier begins, there is a high demand for enchants and new gems for sockets as people quickly replaces gear. And even on a conten draught, with the addition of titanforging and stuff, people replaces gear faster than ever before, and as a result this stuff is always on high demand that spikes when a new tier is released.
I came for the giveaway and end up reading the whole post about rare spawns. Really nice post, well done and good luck to everyone!
