Nothing to report other than my reputation being a few thousand points lower than I would like.On a serious note, I too would love to see more posts on the technical details of the site. Obviously nothing that would compromise the security, but as a sysadmin I would love to hear about what it takes to run a great site, with all the awesome features that you have, and how you deal with the crazy spikes in dps usage. :D
The Heart of the Cards site achievement isn't working. Looking at the page, it was last earned around 13 hours ago, which I guess would put it at just at the start of the migration, so likely related.
Just when I thought the issue of really really low populated servers is going to be fixed. I mean, when are you guys going to do something about it? Nobody's asking for free migrations, but at least be arsed to do something about it please. I love the realm I play on, would be nice to see it getting merged or whatever other way you can find to get more people on it. Cheers from the Deathwing server EU
I'm having issues looking up items. I'm trying to look up a black tabby cat and I get this error message:The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.wowhead.com/search?q=black+tabby+cat&n=1#news. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.:(
That's pretty interesting because the first thing I did on Wowhead since this happened was look up an NPC, and it took quite some time to load. Of course, at the time, (about half an hour ago) I didn't know you'd switched servers. I just tested it a second time, searching up Fandral's Flamescythe, and it took about 15 seconds to load.I'm using Mozilla.I've never noticed Wowhead to be slow, but I suppose the 3D view was a little bit slow. I just tested it a few times and it only seems to be a smidgen quicker. No matter, I'm sure it'll all work out in the end. As you said, the first few hours are crucial and there are BOUND to be bugs and issues just after moving like that.
Wowhead Client prints out "Invalid status code: 500" after it starts the authentication process when uploading data.wowhead.com/profile gives a 404.wowhead.com/compare loads nothing after the announcement box.Over all response time is sluggish at best, but that's normal for this sort of thing. :D You all have fun.
Also getting the issue with completely empty search pages on Firefox, as others have mentioned.
I'm getting blank white pages when I search. Also this comment says it was posted 10h59m ago right after I posted it.
Wowhead Client:
Still not getting any search results in the Item Comparison Tool on Firefox, even with NoScript completely disabled.
