Yeah I know, that is why I pointed out that that patch 4.1 is two months away, not one and a half (yeah. I know two weeks is not the biggest of differences but still).
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Yay, this will give me time to get geared for the Firelands and catch up on my pet and mount collection. Screw the content, I just want the Fireland achievements, and the new achieves.
The article says that patch 4.1 will be in PTR for two more months, so it will be released in early May. Shortly afterwards (maybe a week), patch 4.2 will hit the PTR and will be there for at least 6 weeks (that's the amount of time the article says patches are on PTR) so it will probably go live at mid-June. That is, 3 and a half months away. I would like to point out that I just saying how I think the timeline will look like, I could be wrong.
Ah, right at the very bottom. Missed that.
Also, "TOO SOON! You were releasing my new raid too soon, Blizzard!".
Hopefully this means known major bugs won't have quite so strong a tendency to pile up for months at a time anymore.
I actually have to agree with the supposed change in plans. I myself am only 6/12 (BH not counted) through the normal bosses, which means that I likely wouldn't have had a chance to see a heroic encounter before 4.1 and Ragnaros. So the only way I would see bosses like Sinestra would be on offnights, many months after they were current content.Good news. Shocking, but good.
That's a great change, in my eyes, and I share the views of Mr. Sun above. My guild has just recently popped open the heroic-content, and it would indeed be nice to have more time getting the rest of those encounters - especially Sinestra - the time they deserve.
http://blue.mmo-champion.com/topic/161901/patch-41-42-contentBlue post by Blizzard confirming this.
I'm amused by the fact some of the "less enlightened" are complaining.Disclaimer: Depends on perception.
This is great news, since i dont always have time to go to raids each day / week ... Players still can have fun in the new content without stressing there ass off to go to firelands imo ... The only down thing is, Alts will be behind again, ppl who allready finished with all raids (dno about hc's) will replay, hope it won't come to a same thing when Cata launched with queue's over 6000 :|Overall im rly happy with this news, FTW Blizzard :-)
Might be a good move to hold things off for raiders if some are behind still! This'll not make new content trump the older raid content in gear, keeping the stuff challenging still! Lets see what else is in Patch 4.1 then other than 2 dungeons and class balances lol
idiot, dont generalice just cause your bad dont mean you are a casual, and niether the ohter way around
