The excitement for all the new changes and customizations coming in 9.1.5 is certainly palpable. Many players who play for very different reasons than high end raiding or top tier Mythic/PVP are over the moon with the new flexibility and features. From a gold making perspective, we covered the
benefits to alts last week
. There are also a few notable things that are going to affect other areas of gold making...
- Remember the Freehold boosts from BfA? This could be the new way to carry alts through fast levelling for gold. Nothing is concrete yet, it's still very early days but there could be some promise there for enterprising players with a penchant for speeding through Torghast.
- With the option of being able to reclaim soul ash/cinders from legendaries, there may be more incentive to change to a different one if players can escape the grind for materials. The high cost of the base items may still be prohibitive, but with more flexibility and choice comes more diversity in buying patterns.
AOE Farms are Back
- Some substantial changes to the cap on how many mobs get hit with AOE spells and abilities means that farming old content, even with diminished damage is once more viable again. However, the vender sell price of items still remains low, this will mainly benefit those looking to sell transmog or collect recipes.
Solo Island Expeditions
- Another niche market and that was Island Expedition transmog items. With these being able to be completed solo, the market has become a lot more accessible and prices may well fall for many of the items there.
Legacy Loot Rules for BfA
- This will be a welcome addition for those wanting to collect items from BfA. Collecting Recipes and Transmog will hopefully be easier.

Week 1 Mission Table Results by Zanzarful

Hello again! some of you might have seen my post about Mission Tables 1 week ago that went into me planning out how I wanted to collect information on my mission tables and the future of a challenge that I'm currently working on.
Well! Now that's It's been a week my
now has 7 days full of data that's very interesting to look at because now I have actual numbers that I can use for avg's.
Overall I'm pretty excited to finally have some data infront of me that I can have in mind when i work further on my challenge for setting up 50 characters. For any other people considering getting into this, 9.1.5 is bring a ton of changes that will make this whole process a lot easier so be on the lookout for that!
If you do all the missions you can, the mission tables
self-sustain... BUT! this can be worked out with doing shaping fate and doing the biggest anima world quests you can find once every 1-2 weeks to fully sustain how much anima is used on the table daily per character! Additionally doing shaping fate will reward you with 2k reputation + 3-5k raw gold + 5 korthite crystals and some other junk, so overall probably a pretty good idea!
It takes me around 1-3 minutes to collect and send out new missions per character so taking that into consideration it's quite a lot of time infront of the mission table once I get to 50 characters! But the rewards seem very worth it so far!
As mentioned on my other post I told you guys i was planning on making an ultimate guide on
for setting up fresh lvl 60's with the mission table, this video will be made once 9.1.5 is out considering the fact that the patch is bringing in a lot of very impactful changes for alts and how quickly you can setup new characters!

I decided to not open the material bags and figure out the overall value because the materials have very different prices dependant on server, so that's up for you guys that are interested in this yourselves to figure out.
TOTAL VALUE GAINED FOR 8 CHARACTERS
ANIMA --> 17642 (Need for Missions)
RAW GOLD --> 95058 Gold Value
REPUTATION --> 57050 / 22800 Gold Value (Paragon boxes reward 3-5k Raw Gold)
AUGMENT RUNES --> 341 / 68200 Gold Value (200g avg for my server)
POLISHED PET CHARMS --> 1729 / 85000 Gold Value (Through bought pets like the Baublewyrm for 10 charms)
It certainly shows that with a fair amount of work getting setup, the rewards from Mission Tables are certainly capable of earning enough to pay for your monthly token.
First Million Milestone

So I started wow at the beginning of this year and shortly after I got tsm to help organize my stuff. Got pretty into flipping tmog and mounts and tonight I broke 1M. Most of the growth came in the last month when I decided to stop buying **** I didn’t need and actually saved some gold. I feel like the next million will be pretty quick.
It has been fun, but now I feel like I don’t even play the game that much. I just am looking for deals and posting to the auction house.
I am not sure if I actually care though - I like making money in the game. I may have to cut back on my daily postings so I don’t get burnt out. I am not sure I want to make the entire game centered around managing my tsm (though it is fun right now).
Do you guys struggle with this dilemma (“actually” playing vs. gold-making)? Is 1M even a lot? I imagine most seasoned players have much more, but it feels like a fair bit (to me) when considering the max is 10M.
Saving up to get a brutosaur is my goal, I think. I guess I’ll have to get shadowlands when I get closer to gold cap so I can see the black market. Am I missing out on a lot of money by not having purchased shadowlands yet?
Sorry for all the ramblings and if these questions have been asked here before… I’m just thinking :)

For quite a while, my only concern with the Queen's Conservatory was getting the Mogs and Mounts (mostly done). After completing my final mount I decided to dig into the lazy gold making potential of the trade materials you get from the satchels. I then built up a personal database, and recently filled in the gaps to be relatively comprehensive.
Understanding how satchels give loot:
modify the satchels by adding higher quality materials to a satchel. For example a Novice Satchel that rolled Enchanting Materials would contain Sacred Shards and Soul Dust, but a Journeyman or Rare Satchel would also add in an Eternal Crystal. From my research, there is no difference in satchel yields between Journeyman (1 Catalyst) and Artisan (2 Catalyst), however this doesn't take into account the RNG of getting one of the battle pets from 2 quality catalyst upgrades. There is no quality change at 3 Catalysts, and 4 Catalysts always produced the Spirit-Tender Satchel, with is one Palatable Feast and a Flask (~600-700g).
modify the satchels by adding both additional 'rolls' and eventually higher yields on top of additional rolls. There are 7 categories of materials that you can get from a satchel - Meat, Fish, Cloth, Enchanting, Herbs, Ore, and Leather. Without any quantity catalysts it will select 1 category of materials, and for each quantity catalyst it will give you an additional category in the satchel to a cap at 3 quantity catalysts. Note that there can be duplicates; one of my satchels today rolled Meat, Meat, Herbs, Leather. At 2 and 3 quantity catalysts, not only do you get an extra category roll, but there is an increase in materials for each category on top that applies to all rolls from that satchel.
reduce the wait time on a spirit to complete from the 3 day default. 1 reduces to 2 days, 2 reduces to 1 day, and 3 reduces to the minimum of 1 hour.
Math it out, how to plant:
Using US region market pricing, I found the optimal planting to be a 3 day cycle. Technically - if you were to babysit the 3 and 4 plots hourly, you could churn out more gold, particularly if you have an excess of spirits on hand. That method only gains about 300-350 gold per hour, but is fairly passive if you are logged in and can check on it regularly with minimal effort.
While this may not be a huge amount to seasoned gold makers, it is something simple you can keep active on a second screen fairly easily. Thank you Snowpoint for sharing the data!

It's a well thought out top 3 and varied in the different farms, so there is something for each farming playstyle. I will always caveat any quotes for amount of gold made is entirely server and luck dependent, so treat any Gold per Hour amounts as a general guide at best.
