What to Expect from BFA Season 3 in Mythic+ and PvP - Item Level Changes and Rewards

We have a post in the works. In general, things should play out almost exactly like they did in Season 2, except 30 item levels higher.

Normal dungeons will now drop 370 item level at max level.

Heroic dungeons will now drop item level 385.

Mythic dungeons will now drop item level 400.

The new Mythic-only dungeon, 麦卡贡行动 drops item level 415 loot baseline.

doesn't seem to be any base dungeon scaling changes coming for Season 3Mythic+ Dungeon Loot

Loot should be capped at 420 from End-of-Dungeon runs until July 16th. Note: On PTR this was capped at 420 during the first week. However following Season 2's cap, this would be 415.

Mythic+ Essences

Rank 1: Complete a 4+ Mythic Dungeon in Season 3 and loot the end of dungeon chest.

Rank 2: Complete a 7+ Mythic Dungeon in Season 3 and loot the end of dungeon chest.

Rank 3: Combine 15 聚焦生命心能, obtained from your Weekly Mythic+ Chest in Season 3.

Rank 4: Complete “争霸艾泽拉斯”钥石大师：第三赛季.

First Week of Mythic+

During the first week, if you're not worried about Essences and only want gear, you'll want to complete one +10 or higher dungeon, then farm lower keys.

However, if you want to receive your Mythic+ Essence a week before other players, you'll want to complete one +15 or higher dungeon, then farm lower keys for gear.
