Visions of N'Zoth Legendary Weapon Transmog Updates
In Visions of N'Zoth, legendary weapons will be able to be transmogged,
as we have documented on our previous post on the subject
. Since then, a couple upgrades happened to this, with a few limitations being added on certain legendary weapons.
Since the latest new post, a few things changed for certain weapons:
Weapons that are obtained from questlines such were previously transmoggable by classes that had no access to the legendary weapons' questlines (as an example, Monks and Warriors could transmog Dragonwrath). Since then, the restriction is now back in place - Only classes that can obtain either legendary are able to transmog it. With this, only the following classes can transmog the following legendaries:
: Druid, Monk, Paladin, Priest, Shaman
: Druid, Mage, Priest, Shaman, Warlock
were originally equipable by Warriors and Rogues (and since extended to Death Knights, Monks and Demon Hunters), now only Demon Hunters can transmog these weapons. This was actually explained by Blizzard on the
Visions of N'Zoth Patch notes
Many legendary weapons are now transmogrifiable.
Developers’ note: The Warglaives of Azzinoth dropped from Illidan in Black Temple are the one exception, as a custom method for Demon Hunters in particular to obtain this transmog appearance already exists through Black Temple Timewalking, and we do not want to diminish the value of that unique reward.
