It's time for the fifteenth edition of the guide feature! There are tons of
user-submitted guides
on Wowhead, and although there are over 2000 guides published on the site right now, it can be tricky to know which have the best information and presentation, especially when there are multiple on the same topic.
As a long-time writer of over two dozen guides, I've seen what works and what doesn't in the guide system. In this feature, selected impressive guides are being brought to your attention in a quick newsflash.

Preparing for Mage Tower Challenges on Fresh 110 Characters
Mage tower challenges are all the rage right now, with players trying to earn one or as many as possible before the challenge goes away in Battle for Azeroth.
Let's take a closer look at the guide:
Pelinel introduces the topic with two major points - first, that the character need not be well geared prior to starting the guide, and second, that the content can all be done solo!
This guide walks players through everything they need to know in preparation for attempting the mage tower challenges. While it may seem obvious to some what to do, Pelinel has written it out for those of us who aren't as savvy, as well as a straightforward walkthrough that players can check off tasks from as they progress. Pelinel notes early on in the guide that there are so many new aspects to the game available upon hitting 110 that it can feel overwhelming. Do you go to Suramar or Argus? Complete mythic+ dungeons or LFR? Is the class hall campaign important? All of these things are fun to do, of course, at some point, but which ones move you closer to a solid attempt at the mage tower challenge? Pelinel has figured this out and worked out a good approach for preparing your character. If you've already had a 110 for a while, you can simply direct your focus toward the areas that are relevant to your character's item level.
There's even a tabled list of links to the actual mage tower challenge guides for each class specialization, for easy navigation after gearing up a character to follow through on attempting the mage tower challenge!
