Speculation on the Pre-Expansion Patch Launch Date for Battle for Azeroth

With Battle for Azeroth on the horizon, many players are curious when the pre-expansion patch will hit. We do not have an official answer yet, but based on some data we are speculating that the BFA expansion pre-patch will land on July 17th.
Assuming the pre-patch will last roughly a month, as the
Legion pre-patch
started on July 19th with the expansion launch on August 30th, we could be possibly looking at July 3rd, July 10th, or July 17th for the BFA pre-patch.
Out of these dates,
July 17th
seems the most likely for a few reasons:
On the PTR, the
War of the Thorns
event runs from 6/19 through 7/17. These dates could show the testing period for the events leading up to the Burning of Teldrassil. Join in the discussion about these dates over on the

Datamining also suggests there will be another content update to this event, as
other versions
of this PTR event show 6/26 as a start date. Perhaps we'll see another chapter of the story unfold, as the Alliance and Horde
reach a stalemate
in the current storyline available on the PTR.
The
Arena Summer Finals
take place July 14th and 15th. It would be strange to have new PvP changes and talents go live immediately before the finals, and make lots of casters and staff travel instead of covering the new pre-patch.
The Mage Tower is not yet up 100% of the time, as
announced by Blizzard
as an upcoming change. If the pre-patch is very soon, there isn't much time to take advantage of any potential Mage Tower changes.
