Sinstone of Irmaat, Creator of the Windwalker Monk Artifact Weapon the Fists of the Heavens, found in Revendreth
Windwalker Monks who played in Legion may have heard of Irmaat, the Tol'var blacksmith who lived in Uldum thousands of years ago, and who created the
artifact weapon. The sinstone
is located at 46.2, 37.4 in Revendreth, and it reads,
The greatest bronzesmith of his era, Irmaat saw his hands as extensions of the titans themselves.
In his pride, he attempted to steal the power of an elemental lord.
In his arrogance, Irmaat believed he had succeeded.
In his folly, the backlash of the trap laid by the elemental lord destroyed Irmaat's village, forge, and sent the soul of this bronzesmith straight to Revendreth.
His arrogance will be extracted, and he will learn the art of humility.
Irmaat was an exceptional weaponsmith who created many powerful weapons before tackling the
, Al'burq and Alra'ed, which he made in an attempt to steal the power of Al'Akir - the Elemental Lord of Air. Though in his pride he believed himself to be successful, Al'Akir knew of the plan, and had his own revenge.
The weapons were so powerful, they were unusable, and Irmaat died in the hurricane they created when he attempted the wield them. Windwalker Monks in Legion would eventually be the only one(s) powerful enough to wield this mighty weapon.
