Level Design collaborates with both art and design disciplines to bring to life the World of Warcraft. We're responsible for layout, terrain sculpting and painting, asset placement, lighting, and more. I had the privilege of working on 3 zones for Shadowlands, Revendreth, Ardenweald, and The Maw. On top of working on these 3 zones I was also lucky to get to use the Maldraxxus kit in Revendreth and provide the initial block out for the Bastion Arena, which was later created by Jessica Clarke and placed into the world by Julien Tremblay. This album is a collection of some of the areas I contributed work to in Revendreth, Ardenweald, The Maw, and Bastion.
Revendreth
Revendreth is the home of the Venthyr Covenant, filled with gothic, Vampire-themed castles and spires. One of the more striking areas within the zone is the Ember Ward, a location devastated by the Light.

Ardenweald
Ardenweald, home to the Night Fae, is a gorgeous dark forest filled with Dreamcatcher trees and other mysterious sights.
Ardenweald Zone Overview
The Maw
The Maw is the very first zone we see as we journey to the Shadowlands, and it's the max-level zone we visit regularly for unique rewards. As such, it's a vitally important zone - one likely to be associated with Shadowlands-related memories for years to come.

Bastion Arena
Matthew also provided the initial block for the Bastion Arena, Empyrean Domain.
