Rhan'ka's Escape Plan Toy Spotlight - Drop Combat & Mythic+ Skips
A new toy was added in Patch 8.1 that is very similar to the
from MoP which allows players to drop combat and become untargetable similar to a Night Elf's
. This toy can be used in Mythic+, allowing players to use this toy instead of deathrunning or using Invisibility Potions.
Update: This Toy has now also been hotfixed to not work in Mythic+ Dungeons and Raids. It still functions the same in the open world.
Because this toy drops combat, it is very useful not just in the open world, but also in Mythic+! Before, there were only a few ways to skip past mobs in Mythic+;
Deathrun and use a Battle Rez
on someone at the end to resurrect the group - Costs a Battle Rez.
- Puts potions on cooldown for 10 minutes and only if mobs do not have True Sight.
- Only if mobs do not have True Sight.
For players who are not Night Elves with

For example, the Bridge Elemental in Shrine of the Storm and Matrons in Underrot are dangerous mobs with Truesight. Without the toy, you'd either have to pull the mobs or deathrun past them. Now, you can simply run past all the mobs and use
, dropping all combat and avoid using a Battle Rez. You can see an example with Underrot below or

If you're not into Mythic+, this toy can also be used in the Open World! If you pull too many mobs or are stuck in combat, you can use this toy to get out of combat! If you're getting targeted in War Mode PvP, you can use this toy to make yourself untargetable, though DoTs will still tick on you.
Be careful though, as once you hop out of the vehicle, you can be targeted again.
Location of Toy
can be bought from
in Voldun for 85 gold on any
character that has completed the
quest chain in Vol'dun.
Once you buy the toy, it can be used on any character!
How Does It Work?
, click on the button which will give you a targeting reticule. Click on the ground next to you, and you'll place a pot with bananas and automatically jump inside. This will immediately
with any mobs that you are in combat with and preventing any new spells from hitting you. However, DoTs will continue to tick while you are inside the pot.
To leave the pot, you'll need to click the standard Leave Vehicle Arrow on your UI.
has a cooldown of 15 minutes.
Similarities to Salyin Battle Banner
This toy is very similar to the
from MoP, which also let you drop combat against mobs. Both toys initially worked in the Open World, dungeons and raids but after its release,
so it could not be used in raids to prevent exploits. At the beginning of Legion,
had a Pandaria restriction added, restricting its use.
follows the same path as
, we will probably see this toy be disabled for raids but it might stick around for dungeons up until the next expansion.
