I decided to try out some 2v2 with the DK known as Ipanic, and we quickly realised that Protection Paladin and Unholy DK is a glorious comp (still)!
We were able to slaughter our way from 1.5k to 2.4k mmr, without a single lose until we had reached a 25 win streak, my personal best so far...
2.4k mmr is A LOT the first week of the season, since there is no inflation (the top teams right now are at 2.4k)
What makes this comp so strong is a lot of different reasons, but the main thing is that it has solid survival in a season where everything falls over. It also has solid CC to find kill windows.
Most of our games were fast ones when we quickly destroyed the enemy healer in the opening stun, since Protection brings great damage aswell as healing. It was only until 2.2k mmr that games started to slow down, since people here knows how to counter all the pressure.
We also destroy Rogues easily since both Paladin and DKs can survive on their own, and we can immune their 闷棍

Protection Paladins sure are strong these days, but I don't enjoy them as much as I used to (in PvP). Main reason is that we take a lot of DMG compared to other specs, making us play more like a healer instead of a tank, which isn't prefered.
I would suggest removing the 50% dmg taken increase that tanks has in PvP, but also reduce our healing done by 40-50% by 荣耀圣令
, this would lead to us having less healing output so our teammates would be valid targets for the enemy team.
