Our Favorite Toys in BFA - Video by Belle from Method/PWNCAST
Battle for Azeroth has added many cool toys, some of them very well hidden from the player's sight, or from really rare drops.
Belle from Method and PWNCAST
, in collaboration with Wowhead, has created a video showcasing her favorite toys in the expansion so far!
Although these are some of her favorite toys, there are many more hidden through Kul Tiras and Zuldazar.

And if you're looking to collect even more toys, our
Toy Box Collection Guide
should guide you to all toys available in-game!
Its exactly what you think it is! You wear this orange mask over your existing helm. Belle chose this toy as one of her favorites because of its tooltip: "Smells faintly of peppermint and murder, two of Singer's favorite things.". Ironically, also two of Belle's favorite things, alongside tacos.
This toy drops from
, a rare that spawns in
. This rare changes location based on who is controlling Stromgarde - it will spawn by Dabyrie Farmstead if Alliance is in control, or by Go'Shek Farm is Horde has Stromgarde.
This item basically, well, places you under the spell of the Heartsbane Coven, and who doesn't wanna be under a spell? The tooltip reads, "Filled with the forbidden charms and cantrips of the Heartsbane Coven."
This item comes from the
(where all creepy things come from), that can be opened after solving a quick puzzle. The cool thing about this item is that the effect lasts for 1 hour and has no cooldown!
Now, some of you are wondering, "Why would she include Spitzy?". Belle thought it was pretty cool to have your faithful pal sitting on your head, as the tooltip reads, "Best friend, and loyal pal... may or may not try to control your thoughts... will hide from orange birds.".
You can get Spitzy from the quest
. This quest can be done by both Alliance and Horde characters!
Each faction gets a different version of this toy, with the Alliance getting the Siege Tower, and the Horde getting the War Machine. Both are tiny little bringers of doom that you can control!
The Toy Siege Machine comes from the
world boss, and the Toy War Machine comes from
world boss, both located in
depending on who has control of Stromgarde. The drop rate is not fantastic, but definitely worth the farm!
A personal favorite of Belle, the Drust Ritual Knife is used to sacrifice a dead player to the Drust! We don't know if this is exactly a good thing, but hey, it's done now. This item only works on players, sadly, Belle has tried it on dead NPCs to not avail.
You can obtain this toy from the
, after another quick puzzle.
Although Belle has not yet obtained this toy, she was shown this and immediately thought it was a really cool toy! It turns into a Hozen skeleton for 10 minutes, and who does not want to become a hozen skeleton?
This item has a chance to drop from Island Expeditions, although if its unknown if it comes from Hozen or Pirate-themed Islands. Check our
Targeting Island Expedition Rewards Guide
to see how to aim for specific rewards!
Belle's second favorite toy, looking through the Cursed Spyglass turns all players and NPCs into ghost models! This feels very reminiscent of walking about Admiral Taylor's Garrison in
This toy is also really easy to get, as all you need to do is get Revered with
and buy it from
. Sadly, Horde characters are out of luck on this one, as they will need to level an Alliance character to have access to this toy.
Another easy toy to obtain is the Dead Ringer. Basically it summons a soul of the deceased and it will just stare at you and, after a few seconds, he will float into the sky.
Another easy toy for Alliance characters, as it requires Revered with
and can be bought from
. Another item Horde characters don't have as much luck getting, as it also requires an Alliance character to obtain said item.
Note: This item is mistakenly mentioned as being sold by the Order of Embers Quartermaster.
And last, but not least, is the Laser Pointer! It's a pretty cool toy that summons a red laser that your pets chase after! Pets chasing after lasers can be entertaining in both real life and in Azeroth. When your pet catches the laser, fireworks will appear!
You obtain this toy by completing the achievement
, which requires you to complete 20 Pet Battle World Quests in Kul Tiras or Zandalar with a full team of level 25 pets.
