Mythic+ Class Statistic Deep Dive - Dratnos and Tettles Discuss
This week's GG WoW video starts with a look at the
recent nerfs to Survival and Destruction
that came on the last weekly reset following previous nerfs to both specs with Patch 9.2.5. Dratnos and Tettles agree these nerfs are likely not going to move either of these specs out of the highest level of viability for Mythic Plus, and use that to springboard into discussion of how the different specs and classes have fared in Mythic Plus over the last few years.
The powerful statistics site
has recently put out an analysis of how all of the specs have performed since the beginning of the site in BFA - check out that
Dratnos and Tettles take a look at this spreadsheet and discuss the dominance of classes like Rogue and Mage, as well as the recent upheavals in the metagame that see specs like Survival, Destruction, and Holy Priest making their way into the top spots after many years of being below average.
Season 4's new dungeon rotation has also begun to see some
with topics such as the ease of timing high Junkyard keys and the lack of Karazhan keys at all levels being discussed in the video.
What do you think about spec balance this season and over time? Should blizzard take aim at outlier specs and deliver some changes to the fundamentals for things like DPS Death Knights and Feral Druids to help them compete? How are the dungeons doing after the most recent set of Karazhan nerfs? Which ones are you struggling in most now?
