Ashamane, the Ancient nightsaber spirit who fought in the War of the Ancients, fell ages ago deep in the forests of Val'Sharah.
A group of druids called the Ashen honor her memory and are the guardians of the shrine the houses her fangs.
We will need to persuade them to allow their precious artifact be used in combat, but the fangs are a powerful weapon against the Legion.

Delandros Shimmermoon says: Now is not the time for this Verstok! We have wounded to tend to.
Verstok says: If the ward protecting the fangs fails we'll have a lot more to worry about than a few cuts and bruises. I'll guard the fangs even if you won't.

Delandros says: Has Verstok gone mad? Wielding the fangs empowers one's senses far beyond normal, I'm afraid it also heightened his paranoia.
Druid, you have to get the fangs away from Verstok. The longer their in his possession the more delusional he will become.
Verstok yells: Leave demon! Be gone! Why won't you just GO AWAY!?
You won't leave? Very well, I'll end this chase myself!
The fangs are mine! MINE!!

Verstok yells: Augh! What is this? Release me at once!

I just wanted to protect the Fangs, but their too much for me to handle. You've shown yourself to be a far more capable guardian then I. Please, take them.

On Friday, March 4, we will continue our Legion Alpha raid testing of Heroic encounters.

Remember that Heroic difficulty scales for any group size between 10 and 30 players, so feel free to assemble and bring a group of any size within that range. Our general plan is to test every encounter on Heroic difficulty first, and then test sections of the raid on Normal and Raid Finder, alongside targeted Mythic tests. Apologies for the short notice, but we needed to ensure build stability. If you can't make this testing window, these bosses will be retested, likely more than once, in the future.

As always, this testing schedule is very fluid and subject to the realities of an alpha environment. We might have to change the time of a testing session, change the boss being tested, or cancel a test entirely, due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc. Keep an eye on this forum for the latest information, and thank you in advance for testing and providing feedback.

Q: How do I get into the raid zone?

A: In Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind, you may speak to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade Sr. in order to teleport into the raid zone while it is open for testing. (The option to teleport into a zone will not be available when the zone is not open for testing.)

Q: What character should I use to test the raid?

A: Whichever you prefer. We will be scaling players' effective level to 110 for raid testing, and their item level to an appropriate threshold for the encounter(s) being tested.

Q: How long does testing last?

A: The primary purpose of testing is to give us the information we need to balance the encounters, evaluate how mechanics are playing out in practice, and identify bugs. Once we're satisfied that we've received that information for a given boss, we'll be shutting down testing. Usually this takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, but there are no guarantees.

Chronomatic AnomalyTimes change.

Overview: The passage of time will increase and decrease over the course of the encounter. These changes will affect the Chronomatic Anomaly's abilities.

Tanks:
Watch your stacks of [Chronometric Particles] and watch for changes in their duration as time gets slower.
[Power Overwhelming] can be interrupted by a [Temporal Smash] from a Temporal Orb.
Healers:
You will have significantly different amounts of time to react to [Time Release] based on the the current passage of time rate.
Waning Time Particles will continually cast raid-wide area of effect damage.
When a Depleted Time Particle dies it explodes, damaging the entire raid.
Damage Dealers:
Waning Time Particles continually cast raid-wide damage, at 30% health and below they are uninterruptable.
Depeleted Time Particles will explode on death, damaging the entire raid.

Passage of Time: The flow of time near the nightwell is ever changing. These changes will affect casting, movement, and attack speeds. Periodic effects and cooldowns will also be affected.

Chronometric Particles: Inflicts Arcane damage to the victim every 2 sec for 2 min. If the victim ever has more than 9 applications of Chronometric Particles a Chronometric Overload occurs.

Chronometric Overload: The victim explodes with Chronometric energy, inflicting 925000 to 1075000 damage to all players. The victim perishes in the process.

Burst of Time: The caster hurls an orb of Temporal energies that explodes when hitting the ground. The explosion inflicts 555000 to 645000 Arcane damage to all enemies within 3.5 yards of the target location.

Time Release: Applies a healing absorb to the victim that lasts for 30 sec. When the effect ends, Arcane damage is dealt to all enemies based on the amount of heal absorbtion remaining.

Time Bomb: Places a time bomb on the victim of variable duration. When this effect expires, all players within 10 yards suffer 555000 to 645000 Arcane damage.
Additionally, the explosion rips a hole in the fabric of time, leaving behind a Vortex. (Heroic, Mythic, Normal)

Vortex: The explosion rips a hole in the fabric of time, leaving behind a vortex.
Players move 30% slower and take 250000 Arcane damage every second they stand in the Vortex.

Depleted Time Particle: Fires Tachyon Pulses at random enemies until it reaches low health. At this point the Depleted Particle fires Tachyon Bursts that affect the entire zone.

Tachyon Pulse: The caster sends out a burst of time particles, inflicting 100000 Arcane damage to all players within 4 yards of the target.
Tachyon Burst: When the caster dies, a massive burst of Tachyon energy is released, inflicting 400000 Arcane damage to all players. (Mythic, Normal, Heroic)
Temporal Volatility: This creature will react violently if exposed to a Temporal Charge. (Heroic, Mythic)

Waning Time Particle: Warps the fabric of time surrounding random players and slowly decays. When the Short Lived Time Particle is about to die, it Wanes from existence, leaving a Temporal Rift behind.

Warp: The caster warps the fabric of time, inflicting 74000 to 86000 Arcane damage to all players.
Each cast of this spell increases the damage dealt by the caster by 20%
Temporal Rift: Upon death, the elemental's temporal energies are released, leaving a Temporal Rift behind. Players can interact with the rift to gain a Temporal Charge.

Temporal Charge: You are infused with volatile Temporal energy. You will take increasing Arcane damage every second. Getting near the Anomaly triggers a Temporal Smash that will make the Anomaly vulnerable to all damage for 15 sec and interrupts its Power Overwhelming ability.

Temporal Smash: The caster unleashes their stored Temporal energy at the target. The victim stops channeling Power Overwhelming and will take 30% more damage for the next 15 sec.

Power Overwhelming: The caster focuses their power on the Nightwell, causing it to issue out a multitude of Temporal Orbs. These orbs inflict 300000 Arcane damage to all players in their path.

Power Overwhelming continues until the Chronomatic Anomaly is interrupted by a Temporal Smash.

Full Power: The caster has reached full power and will orbit the room in a random direction. While orbiting, the caster inflicts 2000000 Arcane damage to all players within line of sight every second.

TrilliaxTrilliax, once proud servant to the Nightborne aristocracy, has been discarded and left to slowly deteriorate among the other outdated constructs. Its unwavering will to complete its programming has splintered this construct's personality matrix. It now unpredictably switches from one mode to the next, ranging from doting caretaker to homicidal sterilizer, seeking recognition from a master that no longer exists.

Overview: As the fight progresses, Trilliax swaps between various modes that determine what abilities it uses. No matter what mode Trilliax is currently in, doing damage to it causes it to leak [Arcane Seepage].
During Cleaner mode, Trilliax uses [Cleansing Rage] to destroy any remaining food left out.
During Maniac Mode, avoid [Annihilation].
During Caretaker Mode, prevent Scrubbers from completing [Cleansing Destruction].

Damage Dealers:
Inflicting damage to the boss triggers [Arcane Seepage].
During The Maniac phase, stand close to your partner when connected by [Searing Bonds].
During The Cleaner phase, stand apart from the raid when effected by [Sterilize].
Healers:
During Maniac mode, [Mana Rupture] pulses damage to the raid.
During Cleaner mode, heal players affected by [Toxic Slice].
Tanks:
Take turns getting hit with [Arcane Spear].
During The Maniac phase, stand close to your partner when connected by [Searing Bonds].
During Caretaker mode, jump on Scrubbers when they channel [Cleansing Destruction].
Continue to move the boss to avoid [Arcane Seepage].

Trilliax

Arcane Seepage: Bile seeps from the construct as it is struck, creating arcane pools at random locations that inflict 332500 to 367500 Arcane damage every 1 sec.
Arcane Spear: Conjures an arcane spear that spilts 2000000 Arcane damage between two targets. Also places a debuff on the current target that increases all damage received by 10% for 30 sec. This effect stacks.
The Cleaner: Trilliax's cleaner personality takes over and wants to scrub the raid into oblivion.

Toxic Slice: Throws toxic slices of cake at random locations that inflict 285000 to 315000 Nature damage on impact. Eating one of these cakes inflicts 95000 to 105000 Nature damage every 1 sec. for 20 sec. This effect stacks.

Stuffed: Eating the toxic cake has filled you up. You can't eat another bite and your movement speed is reduced 25% for 1 min. (Heroic, Mythic)

Sterilize: Trilliax causes random enemies to erupt with violent energy that inflicts 66500 to 73500 Arcane damage every 0.5 sec to allies within 12 yards for 40 sec. This effect will also disrupt neaby scrubbers.
Cleansing Rage: Flies into a rage, using arcane missiles to decimate any food that has been left on the floor. Each one destroyed inflicts 950000 to 1050000 Arcane damage to the raid.

The Maniac: Trilliax's maniac personality takes over, increasing the frequency of Arcane Spear.

Mana Rupture: Mana erupts from the construct, inflicting 104500 to 115500 Arcane damage to random targets every 1 sec.
Searing Bonds: Trilliax binds targets together, inflicting 17812 to 19688 Arcane damage every 0.3 sec while they are not standing next to each other.
Annihilation: Enemies caught in Annihilation suffer 475000 to 525000 Arcane damage every 0.3 sec.

The Caretaker: Trilliax's caretaker personality takes over and is no longer hostile.

Tidy Up: Summons Scrubbers to clean up pools of Arcane Seepage.

Scrubber: Scrubbers make their way to the nearest Toxic Slice or pool of Arcane Seepage and cleans them. If the Scrubber ever reaches max energy, it explodes.

Arcane Armor: These small arcane scrubbers are nigh indestructible, and will inflict 285000 to 315000 Arcane damage to nearby enemies while it is attempting to to perform its duties.
Though, if anything were to clog the scrubber's intake valve, it would lead to catastrophic results.
Cleansing Destruction: If the channel completes, the Scrubber explodes inflicting 617500 to 682500 Arcane damage to the raid.

Succulent Feast: Throws succulent feasts at random enemies. Eating one of these feasts grants a shield absorbing 3000000 damage for 2 min.

Stuffed: Eating the toxic cake has filled you up. You can't eat another bite and your movement speed is reduced 25% for 1 min.
