Legendary Scrapping Available in Patch 9.1.5 - Base Item and Missives Not Returned
The Legendary scrapping system in Patch 9.1.5 is now available for testing on the PTR. Players will be able to scrap any Legendary at the Runecarver to get back all their spent Soul Ash and Soul Cinders, but the crafted base item and missives are not returned.
On the Patch 9.1.5 PTR, the Legendary Scrapping feature is now available for testing. Currently on the PTR, the system only works with the original version of the
and not the Image of the Runecarver, which appears mid-way through the Korthia campaign. This is assumed to be a bug which will be fixed before live.
Scrapping a Legendary is very straightforward though. Talk to the Runecarver, place the Legendary that you want to scrap in the square, click through a couple confirmation boxes and you'll get your
A scrapped Legendary returns all of the spent
. However, it does NOT return the Legendary base item and the missives used to create the item. If you want to recraft a Legendary, this means that you'll probably need to spend more gold buying a new base item, but won't need to farm more Torghast for the currency.
Don't forget that Torghast is receiving some changes as well in Patch 9.1.5, with
increased Soul Cinder drops
